By far the best pizza I have ever had and I have lived all over this beautiful country of ours. Can't go wrong with whatever you choose to order, even the gluten free crust is good. Don't waste your time going to any other pizza joint nearby... It is worth the 40 minute wait or so for the pizza.
A must-visit after a hike, offering a variety of unique drinks and dishes at reasonable prices, with fresh ingredients and great service!

Our waiter, Josiah was very good! He was so friendly and make sure our orders were great! We LOVED the mocktail menu and also had a specific section of gluten free foods. My daughter had the lavender crush and I had the orange mocktail - had candied oranges in the bottom and was so light and refreshing. And REASONABLY priced. I won’t pay $12 for a mocktail like at other restaurants. I think ours were like $6 or $7. Soooo nice to have a “fancy drink” and not break the bank. We will go back. It was a special trip so the price of the entire meal was worth it. The planked salmon was some of the best I’ve ever had. My daughter said since being gluten free she hasn’t had a truly soft bun - and they delivered. Sooo pillowy and scrumptious. Definitely can tell the ingredients are FRESH and real - no corners were cut. Thanks for a great experience!

Chef Todd is amazing. The menu is always diverse and interesting and the specials are unique and fresh. I tremendously enjoy eating his creations. Also, i can find food at Mcquade's fine for my dietary limitations (gluten/dairy) and the staff is great at checking in the kitchen what ingredients are in the recipes

This was actually one of our favorite meals during our stay to the north shore. If you have food allergies, I can’t believe you’ll find a better place or meal. If you don’t have food allergies, your tastebuds will thank you. The strawberry jam turkey sandwich was to die for. My husband is celiac and the spicy chicken bowl was outstanding. Healthy, filling and flavorful, it was the whole package! If you like cookies - do not miss the lemon or almond filled cookies, or coconut macaroons. I wish we were permanently close to this place! The only suggestion I’d offer is that they grow enough to be able to provide a substantial outdoor spot with some sun/weather protection or screened in maybe. Just don’t miss this spot. If they had full view of the water I think it would be overbooked each day!
A cozy spot with flavorful dishes and great value, perfect for diverse dietary needs and accommodating service.

Food was okay, but service was horrible.
Had a hair in our food and ordered the gluten free pork belly tacos, which the shells were hard from sitting out too long, though the pork was good. Our waitress was extremely rude and unavailable (it was at 2pm, not a busy time).
Overall, take your business elsewhere.
Experience breathtaking scenery and top-notch service, making it a can’t-miss spot for an unforgettable dining adventure by Lake Superior.

Unforgettable Staff, Mouthwatering Menu, Perfect Execution, Awe-Inspiring Scenery.
Best customer experience at a restaurant I can recall, hands down, ever. After being VERY late for a reservation, the staff graciously accommodated myself and my traveling companion with poise. Our server Cassandra knew the menu well, was prompt, professional, and courteous. (Thank you!)
The food was expertly prepared and beyond delicious, chosen from a menu with several thoughtful gluten free and vegetarian option. The salmon and beef tenderloin were both exceptional, and a return trip for their notoriously savory walleye will be in order.
A minor misunderstanding with a drink order (I’ve been sober for a few years and a mocktail had a little of the good stuff by accident 😵😅) was remedied immediately and without issue. Mock tails were delicious *with* and *without* the artisinal Vikre Distillery aquavit.
After dinner we caught the full moon rising over Lake Superior at the gorgeous Larsmont resort (see photo).
If you have the opportunity, treat yourself to likely the best dining experience on Minnesota’s the North Shore!
Perfect stop for a scenic drive with a wait that pays off, offering a unique twist on the usual fast food experience.

I don't eat fast food often, but I stop here on trips from Duluth to the North Shore from time to time. It takes longer to get your food compared to other fast food establishments, but it is well worth the wait. Also offers gluten free buns, which other places don't.
