The food is good, quick service. It wasn't on the menu, but we asked about gluten free & vegan options for one in our group, and the waiter had several options right away. We'll be back for sushi next time
Sat down and told waiter, no menus, we are ready to order. He didn't come back for 10 minutes. Gluten-free pizza was strange. While I appreciate that they didn't use the 'frozen shell' and made their own from scratch, the rice flour they used made for an undercooked texture. $13, then an additional $4 for gluten-free? Why? Was the flour organic? Somehow, I doubt it. Parking is also tough. There was an event at a nearby church. Circled 8 times. The GF pizza was not worth it.
140 is the upscale dining experience we need in downtown Peekskill and we can’t await to come back to further explore the menu! We were warmly welcomed by our server Ryan and bartender Ken who both made outstanding recommendations on what to try at our 1st time dining with them. We were blown away by our starters that tasted as good as they looked! The Broccoli Tempura, drizzled with Honey Gochujang will be a regular order for us. And you must try the labor intensive, 150 layers of deliciousness of the Layered Potato. Maria enjoyed the Vietnamese dino rib accompanied by horseradish mashed potatoes and roasted Brussels sprouts. And this gluten free vegetarian was pleased with Lion's Mane Rice Wrap. Next time we we leave room for dessert and hopefully they will have a gluten free option.
In the Peekskill & this side of Cortlandt area, it doesn't get better for Chinese. Food is fresh, "clean" (not too much thickener/starch, coating/batter. Often none:Yay!), hot as can be and delivered anywhere in Peekskill with a thankful smile. Good (not quite great) hot&sour soup (broth is properly thin EVEN at 'fridge temps, WITHOUT AWFUL THICKENERS!). extraordinary Singapore Mei Fun. They will alter nearly any menu item if you ask when ordering and they have ingredients for it, just ask and then don't quibble about price change. The food is VERY good. They happily accommodate Gluten Free diets (though use your own common sense with this aspect: gluten hides everywhere and it's tough for anyone to find all of it. But they do try.). NOTE: As delivery is free and they are on the EXTREME north side of Peekskill, consider giving the driver a decent tip if you're not close (please folks: they're the nicest of people).

So, far my review is only for the classic pizza parlor side of the business.
With that in mind, while this place has had its ups and downs over the last decade or so and changes in ownership, I can firmly state, NOW it's VERY good again.
The pizza is excellent and no one outdoes their pepperoni pie slices: further, It has that authentic Peekskill Pizza feel once more (less sweat and less salty), with lots of additional excellent take-away options from a full menu.
I didn't realize how good Peekskill pizza generally was until I left the area. What's interesting to me, is that these folks have managed to capture the profile of an "older" , to me, more traditional type of pizza: A bit like the original Napoli's, if you were lucky enough to enjoy that pizza in Peekskill, that long ago (BTW: they are still up in Lake Mohegan).
It also seems that these owners have changed the atmosphere of the dine-in side; The formerly closed in feeling, sit down dining area seems more open and inviting: you can easily see in and out, but it's still insulated/separated from the in/out pizza side of the operation. I'm looking forward to trying that side of their business.
I've developed gluten intolerance so i only enjoy a slice once in a great while and I pay the price; but in this case, it's worth it.
My family loves the pizza here, and we (They) get it frequently. Haven't sat down in the dine-in/restaurant side here in many years and through the different owners, so ' don't know about that end of things. It certainly looks very good from the pictures and reviews and I look forward to trying it.
In the meantime, I highly suggest trying this place for good, and subtly, specially, different pizza.
Enjoy!

We've been loyal weekly customers of Nonna's for almost 3 years now since we moved to the area. I love their white spinach pizza and their pasta primavera (with pesto). I've only had their gluten free food but my family loves the regular pizza, chicken parm and spaghetti & meatballs for the kids. We usually get takeout but have never had bad service when we dined in. They are kid friendly as well and my kids loved the Valentine's Day lollipops at the register on the way out last night!
