The food is great. The delivery is terrible at least 4/5 of my last order took over an hour to arrive and I'm just outside downtown. When ordering pick up they'll say 20 minutes and when you get there on time they say 15 more minutes. Id love to love this place more as they have great pizza and Gluten free but I just can't get past these issues. Id love for them to hire someone who wants to work there. I feel it could make all the difference.

My favorite vegetarian place in the south end (I've been vegetarian for many decades). Very nice people and a menu full of excellent options, even for gluten-free diners. Their veggie rolls with peanut sauce are so good, they have extra protein with the rice. My wife loves the crispy egg noodle combo, I get the clay pot with pumpkin and potato curry, packed with perfectly fried tofu and a side of brown (purple) rice. The pho and desserts, tea, etc, are all delicious. All kinds of seating options, with a great big round window table.
Large groups or busier times can slow things down, so don't put yourself in a situation where you need to be served quickly. The food is very consistent and the space is relaxing with nice music so we're always happy to wait extra if needed.
This cozy spot offers unique porcelain cups, a chill vibe with art, and even hosts monthly open mics for a perfect hangout!

Please, please, please, for the love of any god... You must try their rose cardamom latte. It's truly and amazingly delicious. Too fancy? Worry not, the africano is bold and smooth for easy drinking as is or with a bit of cream and/or sugar. I've always loved the atmosphere and commitment to the community this place has had, and I love seeing them prosper. They definitely deserve the love and support!
*** My only wish is that more gluten free options were available

We are slowly sipping the last of our beers. I am enjoying a Seattle based gluten free one from Ghostfish. Excellent. And the food here was delicious. I had their awesome fish tacos. Hubby the fish and chips. This was our first outing since the "C-bug" hit. A go to place this side of the water.
Visited Seattle for a work trip. All of thd locals including the people at our hotel recommended Melrose. May I just say I wanted to go there the following night too because it was perfection. I ordered a chicken stuffed with green olives & goat cheese..wow!!! The parmesan potatoes were crisp & amazing. The salad was served on a chilled plate with a bed of crisp lettuce & fantastic dressings! Service was outstanding! I am gluten free & almost everything on the menu was gluten free.

Gotta be the best Thai food in the south Seattle. Was told that they were on a first come first serve basis however we were able to make a reservation for six. It is a popular restaurant, mostly because it’s known for its gluten free food. Was not disappointed and definitely recommend it.
Offering a unique GF menu with a few options, this spot is perfect for groups to enjoy a lively atmosphere despite some limitations.

Challenging for gluten free but doable. They do have a GF menu you can order from and there are a couple of options. The challenge is that a lot of their most delicious dishes, especially the shareable ones have gluten. Great service though and the large tables are perfect for large groups.
TLDR: you can sample the ice cream flavors prior to making a decision. Fruit flavored scoops are a win-win.
Imagine you are Remy from Ratatouille--close your eyes and let the macaron slowly melt in your mouth. Take it all in. The macarons are delightfully chewy but soft and the flavors are so delicate.
Nut Allergy Alert: Just in case you didn't already know: macarons are made with almond flour.
Parking: small shared strip parking along the street. We went on a Sunday and there were ample lots available.
Menu: pretty straight forward and located on the right wall.
Atmosphere: typical mini ice cream shop feel. No dining areas--mainly for grab and go. There is a mini shop for some merchandise at the window.
Service: order and pay at the counter.
Black Sesame: oooh a very nutty feel to this one. It's like a nut butter consistency. I love the hint of toasted sesame in it as well as the smoothness.
Lychee Ice Cream: very lightly sweetened and a hint of lychee tang just like the real fruit! I love the lightness of this one but it might be too
Mango Ice Cream: really smooth going down the hatch and the flavor tastes exactly like a champagne mango! Nothing artificial tasting here! Not overly sweet but oh so satisfying and refreshing!
Mini Macarons: I got black sesame, passion fruit, matcha, and ube. In my honest opinion all tasted very similar and there was only a very slight hint of the flavor they claimed to be--most likely because the cream inside was literally a dollop. So, if you want macarons where you can actually taste the filling, I recommend getting the standard size. The mini ones in my opinion are just for aesthetics and, of course, the cuteness factor.
I love the fact that there are gluten free options here. Also, how cool is it that you can customize macarons?! I think it would be a perfect gift for any occasion!
A hidden gem with customizable options and a cozy vibe; ideal for laptop warriors but expect a wait during busy hours.

Stopped in to have a late breakfast. Met Debbie the owner/operator. We were the first customers of the day, and had lovely breakfast sandwiches on gluten free everything bagels with egg, cheese and bacon. The aioli on the sandwich gave it the perfect addition of mild spice. We each also had a latte that was perfect. Come on in and enjoy yourselves too!
Delicious vegan granola options and unique bowls await, alongside a must-try smoothie and incredible waffles that keep things tasty!

Disappointing experience. We didn’t realize this cafe is located in a gym. Kinda weird but we continued on..
- overpriced: my two waffle triangle pieces cost $10 (half order)
- my Mexican mocha did not taste great… I was really expecting it to look like the photos online LOL
- the employees did not know which pastries were gluten free

Marianna is one of our favorite restaurants in Renton. The food is exquisite. We like to sit at the bar for happy hour and get $13 pasta or pizza, discounted appetizers, and discounted drinks. The bartenders are friendly, fun, and make the experience special every time. Get the Marianna cocktail!! The servers are polite and attentive but don't hover. While they don't have many vegetarian or vegan options on the menu, they are happy to make substitutions or adjustments to accommodate dietary restrictions, including gluten free pasta. Would recommend to anyone looking for excellent Italian food and an enjoyable experience.
A perfect spot to anchor for a quick stop, featuring tasty options and a chill vibe that caters to variety.

My crew and I anchored here for a short pit stop (aye, they have a parking lot lads!) because we had a Kraken-level craving for some delicious curry and naan... Delivered! Delicious! Hot N Hurried! The Rice N Curry crew... I salute ye for both the food and kindly service! Thank ye for the vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options... my poor ol parrot's stomach isn't what it used to be... but she sure still is picky! To the seas!

What a find!! It’s not easy to find a place that serves wholesome food with non gluten non sugar options. We had the best piece of fish with homemade seasoning and a great salad plus sweet potato fries. It is reasonably priced with a good selection of beverages too. The best part was the friendliness of the host. He was funny and engaging. You can get deep fried fish and chips and tacos too but we have preferred what we got. It was so fresh and healthy. A great experience.
