Fantastic little breakfast spot. I brought my mum here and she is a very hard person to please 😂. But she actually loved this place so that has to speak volumes. The coffee was the perfect temp and tasted great. I ordered a dirty chai and mum got a flat white. As for food mum had a strange request and got a toasted ham and onion sandwich with no cheese on gluten free bread. They triple checked that they had everything right and even asked if she wanted the onion cooked or not. Very thorough. I just got Korean fried chicken with a spicy sauce (yes for breakfast, it was on the breakfast menu 😂) and it was fantastic, for a non Asian restaurant they definitely delivered. Love the atmosphere and the staff too they were extremely friendly and will go the extra mile for you. Would definitely recommend a visit if you're around or even near the hooper center.

I’ve always enjoyed visiting this bakery—the food is consistently great. That said, I’ve been disappointed with the direction of the recent social media content. The new trend of filming people’s reactions to trying free pastries feels gimmicky and attention-grabbing. In particular, some of the posts almost mocking those who decline feel insensitive—there could be many reasons someone might say no (diabetes or coeliac disease, or simply not wanting to be on camera). Some people clearly don’t want to engage—they walk off or don’t respond—and yet they’re still filmed and posted. That doesn’t sit right.
What’s more concerning is that some videos and their comment sections contain personal or inappropriate remarks about people’s appearance. In one video, a woman mentioned she was pregnant—was that detail shared to the world with her consent?
I’d love to see the online presence return to something that celebrates the quality of the food and the people behind it, rather than chasing viral content at the expense of others’ comfort or privacy.
