Forty of us celebrated my niece's 30th birthday yesterday afternoon. The venue overlooked beautiful rolling hills full of charm, tranquillity, and very content cows!
The pizza served was plentiful, delicious, and there were gluten free options for a bunch of us.
The wines that we drank were outstanding - the sparkling, riesling, and the reserve chardonnay. We grabbed two bottles each to go, and 6 of the rosé which my niece adored. We need to try the rest on our next visit!
10/10 perfection in service from the owner Annabelle, and from Nathan, who recommended the reserve chardonnay for me, and I am so glad that he did.

We are West Aussies who came to SA to experience the AFL Gather Round. The Lobethal Hotel staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We chose to watch the Dockers game in the hotel as we missed out on tickets at Barosa Park. The service and help was fantastic. Great menu and wine choice. The gluten free burgers were excellent.
