We were visiting the area for the Roman museums.
I have to say the amount of vegan and gluten free treats available were a nice surprise.
We never realised there was other hot food available, as did not see a menu or anything mentioned on a board. Only realised when I read other reviews.
We never saw the WiFi password and the lady seemed very busy, we did wait a while for one coffee a cold drink and vegan treat.
My coffee was not very hot, but did get warmed up again. Personally I did not enjoy having my hot drink in a plastic tumbler, that's just preference.
5 out of 5 for the toilet. Accessible, baby changing and very clean!
Some out door seating.
We enjoyed the country music.

We were a large group and used one of the private rooms for a Xmas meal. The staff looked after us from the moment we arrived, the atmosphere in the room was lovely and the food from the festive set menu was delicious. One of our group needed gluten free options and the staff couldn't be more helpful.

Booked an afternoon tea with Dairy Free and Gluten Free dietary requirements in the booking form weeks prior to visiting. As well as reminding the waiter twice before we'd even been seated. A GF afternoon tea came out but was filled with dairy products eg) cheese, clotted cream. Servers weren't very proactive and rather than replace the whole thing, I had to ask each tier to be replaced when I realised issue after issue after issue with each of the tiers. I hate making a fuss, so this really ruined the experience. The quality of the food itself was poor. You can get better in a costa coffee. In fact, I hardly touched the cakes, as even though they claimed they were GF and DF, at this point the service has been so poor that I wasn't convinced. Nice herbal tea and live pionist were the only positives. Overall, really poor experience. I'd go somewhere else if you have any kind of dietary requirement. It's absolutely not worth the almost £90 for two people at all!
