They offer GF wraps. I made a Cesar bowl into a Cesar wrap and it was yummy! It came with popcorn which was a surprise.
The staff was nice but space inside is limited. The water station is underwhelming. The water does not taste good. Also the location in Manchester is not great....plus only on street parking.

Even though a Whole Foods moved into the city, A Market still holds its own, by carrying things you can't get anywhere else. Just recently, after a fruitless search at the other store, I was able to find the gluten free puffed rice and brown rice syrup I needed for an allergen frendly recipe. This past weekend, my boyfriend and I decided to treat ourselves to an early dinner at the Puritan Backroom, and I can confidently say it was an experience to remember! We opted to sit at the bar, and right from the start, we were warmly welcomed by our server, Tyler. His friendly demeanor created an inviting atmosphere, not just for us but for everyone around.
Tyler consistently checked in on us—between drinks, while we placed our food order, and even after we finished eating. His kindness and professionalism made our dining experience feel special. When it came time for me to order, I chose the GF Broiled Chicken Tenders and a GF Mudslide. I hesitated on the salad, as most places typically have croutons, but Tyler’s keen attention kicked in. He asked if I had a gluten allergy, and I said yes. He then asked if I had Celiac Disease, even though he felt like he was being invasive, I was genuinely surprised by this thoughtful inquiry, as it’s rare for servers to be so informed about Celiac's disease.
Once he understood my needs, Tyler went above and beyond to ensure my meal was safe. His exceptional care and attention to detail really stood out to me. It’s not every day that you find someone who understands the seriousness of Celiac Disease and takes such great precautions.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Tyler to anyone who follows a gluten-free diet. If you visit Puritan Backroom, make sure to ask him for a GF Chocolate Mudslide— it's to die for!
