Surf is truly a gem in downtown Whitby. If you’re looking for a place to grab some excellent cocktails and amazing SoCal style small plates and shareables, this is where you wanna be.
They do a feature cocktail each week to keep it fresh (which you can find on their Insta) and everything they serve is made in-house (plus, their entire menu is 100% gluten free).
The staff are all super friendly and very knowledgeable when it comes to the drinks and food. If you come by in the summer they have a really beautiful back patio, too.
All around just a really amazing place that you should check out if you’re looking for a nice cocktail bar/restaurant in Durham.

Anthony was an amazing server ! Checking in on us but not interrupting us at the same time ! I used to love this place but the prices have drastically went up. A breakfast sandwich used to be $6.99 and is now $13.99. I like it for the gluten free options hence why I would go but with the increase in the pricing I don’t think it makes sense.
