Absolutely fantastic experience at Bill's in Cardiff Bay.
We turned up without a reservation and despite the place being quite busy, we were seated promptly and drinks orders taken quickly.
I'm Coeliac which means boring gluten free dining, but in Bill's there is a whole gf menu so I didn't feel left out. I had the Fish Pie and Banoffee Sundae, both of which were different from usual gf options.
They also did a gf IPA which I wasn't very keen on but nice to have the option.
We were served by Gabriel. He's an absolute treasure.
If you're gf, you should deffo give the place a try!

Went for a late pizza for 1, enthusiastically greeted by Amelia (vietnamese/welsh), Ilka and smiling pizzaioloa. They clearly knowledgable about the menu, helpful, attentive and very efficent in their roles. My order was taken swifly, cooked and received hot within 4 and half mins. I was impress all 5 teams members checking day doting food labelling & cleaning the whole time I was there, toilet not a spect of dirt too. Plenty of colouring packs for the little ones, Vegan and Gluten free options.

I’ve loved Fabulous Welshcakes for years. We always pick some up when we’re in Cardiff bay and Cardiff city centre.
I love the variety but you can’t beat a traditional Welsh Cake.
As soon as we started wedding planning we knew we wanted them for our wedding favours, it wasn’t even a question.
There’s a huge range of flavour to choose from and they cater for allergies too!
We had one celiac guest and another guest that was celiac and dairy intolerant.. they catered for both! I can’t thank you enough.
We purposely ordered extra to enjoy ourselves after the day too.

Our favourite Italian in Cardiff - actually our favourite restaurant in Cardiff! Discovered in 2020 and still go there or get pizza takeaways regularly, even though we live less close now. They cater for allergies and coeliac as well, which is a game changer! Can't believe how affordable it is (and has been over the last few years) for such good quality food. When planning a trip to Cardiff my partner and I were looking for somewhere for lunch that could easily cater for her dairy and gluten free diet. This came up as one of the options so we took a chance on it. This turned out to be a good move as this has rapidly become a destination place for us (even if the rest of Cardiff is jammed up due to the rugby! 😅)

This place used to be a literal heaven for gluten free people. I went last week and the menu has changed. The only "gluten sensitive" options are on the Vegan menu, and it's all very confusing!
Our choices are limited to the Sundaes and the Waffle. No sauces for the waffle are marked as GF (or GS) so I had a very sad crumbly waffle with just ice cream on top!
Definitely not going again!
