Ordered a gluten free/dairy free cake for my daughter's birthday party and it was wonderful! The cake design was super cute! I love all of the food and pastry options here as well. I just wish it was closer to where I live in Buckley.

I have never been treated so bad at a restaurant. My family and I have been going here for a very long time and absolutely love the food and when my oldest daughter went today to order her and I a sandwich the staff had made a mistake and put bread on my gluten-free burger. my daughter went in with me on the phone and simply asked them if they could remake it and at first they said oh no, we'll just give you a lettuce wrap to put around it. we'll take the bread off and I had to explain to them that it is now contaminated with gluten. the front end staff argued with me for a while and told me I would have to pay for a new burger in order to have this contaminated Burger remade. the owner got on the phone with me and told me that he will do it only this one time and he was very rude to me and made me feel completely stupid. my oldest sister stood there and watched them remake the burger nervous that maybe they would spit in it. I just couldn't believe that even though I tried to explain to them that there's no possible way I can just take the bread off my allergy to live and makes my throat tight and they did not care. the final thing that the owner said to me was it's not like we can resell this burger and this cost me money and so you're going to have to pay to have this or remade. I bet you. he spends about $3 to make that burger and he just lost a customer that he's had for a very long time and mind you my family spends $145 every time that we go there and we go every Friday night. all of this over the fact that his staff members had put bread on my gluten-free burger and that he felt I should have to pay for a whole new burger because I couldn't have gluten even though the receipt clearly shows that I ordered a Celiac gluten-free burger lettuce wrapped. it's very sad that we're not even able to go back here anymore. this was my kids's favorite place.

I am gluten free and dairy free. They have a few options for me. I got the shrimp meal. It was good. But their margaritas and drinks are amazing! They have an amazing selection of cocktail drinks. The service is great! Love the atmosphere, it feels modern and fancy, but you don’t have to dress fancy.

Fryer is not gluten free so don't get anything that could be fried like the spare ribs. I have had fried rice, all noodle dishes, chicken and broccoli, green beans, and fresh rolls. no reactions and great flavor. Just doesn't offer dine in.

This is an amazing store that offers great quality organic produce, a deli counter that makes and serves sandwiches, soup, smoothies, & coffee etc. They have a salad bar, and in-house prepared deserts (often including gluten-free & vegan options). They offer some products (grains, nuts, seeds, nut butter, candies, honey, oils, etc) to purchase from bins by weight. Not to mention the wide array of clean packaged foods, toiletries, vitamins & supplements, and even some choice clothing, candles, and supplements in the front left of the store in the dining area. The prices may be a bit steep on typical items that one can purchase at Whole Foods, but the products that they carry that you cannot get anywhere else and their top-notch organic produce make it absolutely worth while.

Farelli's pizza is like the pizza places of old with fresh made dough and sauce and lots of tasty options. They don't have a problem with allergies (gluten and dairy) and make the dining experience very pleasurable. Our waiter (so funny and kind)didn't get his name. He made sure our food was allergy free. His table side jovial personality made our time even better. The pizzas, cheesy chicken calzone, were all really delicious! We also got bbq boneless chicken wings and df cheesy bread-so delicious! We will visit again when we are in town. Thank you to our red-headed waiter, which made our experience even better!

You never know what you’re going to find here, but whatever it is will be interesting & inexpensive! It’s not very comprehensive, so it’s difficult to shop for a specific meal, but it’s great for stocking up on snack foods & convenience foods. They have a decent selection of organic products as well as products for specific dietary needs (vegetarian, keto, gluten-free, etc). There are always good bargains to be found! Today I found cherries for $1.99/lb and quick-sale bacon for $2.00. Watch expiration dates. If they had a larger produce and meat sections, I’d give it 5🌟

About as Tacoma as it gets, corner of 1st & S. Tacoma, right around the corner from Stadium Thriftway. No frills, just great pizza. Traditional pies are all 18", gluten free are 14" wide. Every pizza on the menu is delicious. I like to walk in, order, shop, and eat one, sometimes two slices right there and take the rest home. Delivery available via 3rd party services.

A delicious spot with excellent vegan and gluten free options! We had the Buena dia burrito, the vegan breakfast sandwich with gluten free bread, two Dude's donuts (Homer, churro), and the French press coffee. All of it was exceptional! The dairy free butter spread on the breakfast sandwich was a huge hit.

I’ve been saying it forever: Tacoma needs more healthy food options. I guess someone finally heard me because last year we got both a great salad shop (Crisp) and a phenomenal juice bar. Well, calling Gather a juice bar feels like underselling it but juice-smoothie-bowl-latte-avocado-toast nirvana is a bit of a mouthful. The Juice Options run the gamut from “liquified salad” to super fruity. I’ve tried almost all of them and haven’t had a single one I didn’t like. My favorite is Sunrise, an apple-lemon-ginger concoction with a color that makes it as pleasant on the eyes as the tongue. The Smoothies Quality juice makes a quality smoothie. The ones made with coconut shreds were a little gritty for my taste but all were tasty. The Bowls Before Gather, you had to go to Gig Harbor to get an açaí bowl in Pierce County. Gather makes a great one as well as another smoothie bowl made with berries and almond mylk (and a tropical one that I haven’t tried because it kind of weirds me out that it’s made with pineapple and spinach). If the owners weren’t such great people, I would absolutely think they were lying when they said their granola was sugar free. It tastes like gingerbread in the best way possible. The Lattes Not made with coffee (although they sell coffee, too). They sound confusing on the menu but they’re actually pretty familiar: a matcha, a tumeric tea, a subtle hot cocoa, a take on a gingerbread latte and...a pink one that’s kind of it’s own thing. I haven’t had all of them but the ones I’ve had were delicious. The Toasts Two different types of avocado toast: spicy and not. Each is made with an entire avocado so you know it’s good. The other option, a heavenly almond butter/banana/honey number led me to actually say out loud “Why am I so excited about toast?” All are are served on a sourdough bread that is made in some kind of special process I don’t understand but is possibly friendlier to people with gluten sensitivities and/or other allergies. There’s no getting around the fact that it’s pricey but it’s all made with high quality ingredients and I’ve found everything to be filling. Additionally, they give workers paid time off and I don’t mind paying a little more if it’s actually going to employees. TL;DR: This place is great!

This place was really good. I am also gluten free so I was glad they had those options as well. The place could use some sprucing up but other than that the food was super food. My son and me shared. He got a TLT (tofu. Lettuce and tomato) who's was good, tofu was seasoned well. I got the jalapeno mozzarella burger. It tastes like a jalapeno popper sandwich. The mozzarella style cheese is so good! They need to make a grilled cheese with that cheese!
