Gluten free Mexican options that taste amazing? Sign me up! Honestly, I recommend Metro Taco whether or not you need to eat GF. I like the shrimp tacos and the mushroom tacos - but the others are also great.
Solid guacamole with GF chips! The best! Great, relaxing restaurant to have in the neighborhood. The owners and staff are friendly.
Experience authentic Vietnamese vibes with an array of flavorful dishes, including uniquely smoky pho and a variety of vegan options.

Be wary if you have issues with gluten here. Their menu states that they take "extreme cautions to minimize the risk of cross contamination", but the waitress told me that they boil their noodles in the same water as their dumplings, meaning ANYTHING with noodles is cross contaminated (including the pho and spring rolls). Honestly, this is super disappointing and does not indicate much care for minimizing cross contamination.
That being said - their cocktails were tasty. My husband got their pho and enjoyed it. I got the Vietnamese chicken curry, which was tasty but VERY spicy.
Service was kinda slow; it took quite a while to get our drinks ordered and then to get our food order in. They brought out our entrees but forgot my husband's summer rolls. I also requested no cilantro on my dish but it came out with a huge sprig on top.
Overall I found this to be a disappointing experience, considering the blatant cross-contamination and hit-and-miss service.

Traveling to NY and had a luncheon at Il Bacco. My daughter has celiac and I was worried about her being able to eat off the selected menu. Our waiter, Dorel was wonderful and brought a gluten free option for every course and each one was that outstanding. My veal Marsala was delicious and authentic. Will definitely return.
With a vibrant ambiance and cool music, this spot offers a unique experience that's worth a revisit, especially if they expand their options.

The music, locations, and ambiance is legit. Tony gave us a wonderfully kind welcome. The waitress, Meg, was sweet & knowledgeable of gluten free options. Actually, she WAS the GF menu since there were none to offer. I'd suggest a dedicated fryer to expand limited gluten free options (I enjoyed the jackfruit/guac taco). Would visit again if they do.
Food is tasty but a bit too sweet. Many gluten free options. Dishes are quite expensive at $17 for chicken Tikka. Especially given the location is not that fancy.

I love this restaurant, my favorite Indian restaurant I've ever been to! Definitely try the pani puri, it is unique and delicious. The service is excellent; I have to eat gluten free and they happily explained the entire menu to me, and there are so many options. Everything I've eaten there has been absolutely delicious. I wish I lived closer but regardless I gladly travel to have dinner at Angel. Don't hesitate, just go and try it!
Everything was great! Big portion sizes, perfect for sharing. I ordered all of this for myself and ended up taking 3/4ths of it home. Started off withe the fried bean gluten, and it was sweet and tasty. Then I had the crabmeat and pork bun. I couldn't really taste the crabmeat, but it was an overall good dish. The stir fry pork kidney was nice, it says on the menu that it is spicy but it is not. The waiter told me that is because the food in Shanghai is usually not spicy. Definitely try the pumpkin cake! It is a doughnut with red bean paste in the middle. It has just the right amount of sweetness to it. Overall, I was very pleased with the food here!
