Every place that can create brownies without gluten or dairy, and which still taste delicious, deserves five stars. In addition, staff was super friendly and the interior is modern and up to date. The cortado coffee is great as well. Recommended. The washrooms were clean. They ate located in the basement and are not wheelchair accessible.

After spending the day sightseeing in the heat, our tired selves just needed a place to sit and eat. My family and I found so much more when we stumbled upon Pizzeria Bros!!! All of the staff was friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was upbeat. The food was cooked fast and tasted amazing...including the delicious gluten-free pizza and the mouth-watering Cinnamon and Sugar Bros Bites. After our board game-loving crew relaxed and played almost 2 hours of games (and gladly gave a worthy tip) we left happy we took a gamble on Pizzeria Bros!

An extraordinary grocery store, if you have special food needs, this is where you will find everything, the foods are very fresh, all the keto, gluten-free, vegan, etc. products are grouped together in each row, the staff is very helpful and polite, for me who does not like to search for hours for my gluten-free foods, this is my reference

I ordered the poutine with gluten-free gravy. I mentioned I have celiac and confirmed with the server that the dish was gluten-free. It was only 20 minutes later when all my friends got their food that she told me the fries are prepared in the same fryer as everything else and asked again if that was okay. I said no, and tried to order a different dish marked "gluten-free". It turns out that every single item labelled "gluten-free" on their menu is deep-fried, so NONE of their labelled items are actually gluten-free. Had I known while ordering, my friends and I would have gone elsewhere. This is the first time I've seen a restaurant claim on its menu that its dishes are safe from gluten and not even have a single option that is actually safe. Either the kitchen protocols need to change, or the menu does. This is a serious oversight.

Really impressed with this team! Great space, service was awesome and everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals. As a celiac travelling in airports it’s always a gamble. This was a great experience. They have a GF menu and while limited you could tell they take it seriously. I had half order of nachos with chicken which hit the spot. The manager delivered the food to reassure they took precautions. He actually mentioned his dad was one of the first people diagnosed with celiac in Montreal in the 70s. Really appreciated the extra effort and the cider was delicious too. Thanks so much!

We were really disapppointed when we couldn't dine at Sapristi the day before as we didn't realize we needed to make a reservation. We planned ahead the next day and made a reservation and when we arrived we were seated right away at a spot outside. Our server was great and we went all out getting a pitcher of sangria to go with our parmesan fries appetizer and pizzas for our main course. They were very accommodating to my gluten free diet and unfortunately we were too full to try their desserts so I guess we'll need to make another visit one day! Thank you for making our evening memorable with a delicious meal!

Rather disappointed for a first experience, the dishes basic and disappointing. The dishes are served with some fresh fruit which is nice. As for the atmosphere, if you want to be a little quiet, forget it, it's terribly noisy! The service wasn't great, but we can understand if someone is a beginner. The very pleasant waitress at the start of the meal finally asked us to hurry up and accommodate other people! Something crazy! Arrivals at 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. outside. You pay and you get out! The waitress thought we had been warned, this was not the case. And in this case we would have understood! I arrived from France to see a Canadian friend and I admit that I was shocked! Very disappointed especially as we chose this place for their gluten-free menu. Damage ! Note the bad faith of the owner in his response! And as for absolutely no harm to you! When it's good I say it and sometimes it's not so good! Best wishes.

Wonderful grocery store with beautiful healthy products. The only less pleasant side is the bill when we go there! Lots of vegetarian, gluten-free and organic options. Naturopaths on site to help you with your choices of natural supplements. It is even possible to make an appointment for personalized advice. In addition to the food prepared on site, the grocery portion and natural supplements, you will find household products, an aromatherapy area, body care products and even a beauty corner with a wide range of choices.

I walked in here to have lunch randomly, I was pleasantly surprised with how cute the interior was, but better yet, the food was so delicious. I had fantastic service as well, and let the server know about my gluten intolerance and she was very helpful guiding me in what to eat and also had great recommendations. My lunch was so tasty! We went back yesterday and saw a big improvement on the menu. Really more refined dishes. Small downside, if you want to take your time between courses, tell the waiter because they bring the next dish before you are finished. The rest is perfect. For Celiacs like me this is 💯 respected based on how I feel this morning. You know what I mean 😉

We had the most magical time at Paparmane today. My husband and I went to celebrate my birthday. I made a reservation online and let them know at that time that I have celiac disease. The owner of the tearoom personally emailed me a few days later to follow up on my need for a gluten free menu which I thought was amazing. When we walked in today I was thrilled with how whimsical the atmosphere was. The staff that met us at the door was very friendly and instantly asked us which member of our party had celiac disease. She reassured me the staff was very knowledgeable and trained in celiac awareness. This made me feel very comfortable. Our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive. He took the time to explain the menus and how food allergies are easily accommodated. Once the food arrived the presentation was beautiful and thoughtfully arranged. The taste was unbelievable! Having celiac disease finding gluten free food that tastes wonderful is very hard to come by. The food here made me incredibly happy with every bite. I savoured every morsel! I cannot express how delicious everything was. My husband had the vegetarian option and loved every bite as well. I cannot say enough about how much we loved our experience here. I was also delighted that I was able to purchase some loose leaf tea to bring hone with me as well. I cannot wait to return again to Paparmane for another beautiful and magical experience in the future!

During our meal, our party of six had four “best we’ve ever had”s. One person had the best burger, one had the best gluten free bun, one had the best poutine, and one had the best tofu they’ve ever had. If that’s not a ringing endorsement, you’re not the type of person to be convinced by Google Maps reviews anyways.

After some busy touring through Quebec, my family and I were looking forward to Spa Eastman, anticipating a relaxing interlude. We had visited Ste. Anne's spa several times and from the get go we couldn't help noticing a sharp contrast in the welcoming atmosphere, or lack thereof. We were checked in, given a paper map and therein left to find our way. We had three heavy suitcases and when we realized our rooms were on the second floor, went back to the desk to ask if someone could help us. She pointed to an elevator, which we had missed as it didn't look like a typical elevator from the outside. Indeed it wasn't. I went in alone with the three suitcases as it could fit no more, and discovered that in order to move the elevator, I had to press the elevator button constantly. That didn't bother me, nor our greeting overly much because I put it down to a language barrier. English was not proficient. It was when we saw our rooms that things began to go south. Old is okay, quaint even, but ill-repair is quite off-putting. The carpet looked like it had neither been changed, nor cleaned in 40 years. Furniture was held together in some places by duct tape. I don't remember ever requesting a room change in the past but the thought of spending 2 days in these rooms was unacceptable. I went back to the front desk and conveyed as much. I was told that the spa was completely full but after some fumbling I was then told to bring my luggage down and wait. This confused me so I asked whether they had alternative accommodation as I didn't want to make the luggage/elevator trip for nothing. She said yes. After some lengthly waiting we were then given a map and told to drive to our new accomodation. This took some navigating but eventually arrived at our new accomodation. It was slightly less expensive because it wasn't in the main lodge but a decided improvement. We even overlooked the sandy feel of the floor. I looked for a fridge, which we needed, to find none. Went to ask for this to be asked whether I had requested one. What?? I have travelled extensively and this was the first time I was ever asked this question. The last thing I will say about the physical accommodation is that if you're expecting any kind of room service, don't. Finding our treatments was also on us. After asking a cleaner who never understood english and then the woman at the gift store, we were finally pointed in the right direction. The treatments (massages) were the highlight. Two out of four had good ones. The outdoor amenities included a "cold pond" which, if you are not afraid of many giant frogs or hundreds of large tadpoles, may be good. We didn't feel inclined to try. The two hot tubs were lovely until we were forced indoor to escape the horseflies. - Not Spa Eastman's fault. We enjoyed the indoor infra-red saunas (one was not working), the steam room, cold dips and polar shower. The relaxation room was also lovely. The food. Gluten-free, lactose-free, sugar-free and taste-free. We ate one meal at the spa and for the rest ventured to nearby towns. Don't be enticed to try the front desk cookies (at over 2 dollars a cookie) unless you like cookies that taste like compressed flour and grains, and come with no warning that nearby liquid would be essential. We had really looked forward to this spa and were greatly disappointed. In fact, we cancelled our last massage and left early. I would highly recommend that the owners visit Ste. Anne's to understand what a pampering, getaway spa should feel like.
