Kalma Cafe located in Puerto Del Carmen is certainly a hidden gem and brilliant place for lunch. There is a widely accessible menu that includes, vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. In particular, there is a great selection of smoothies, juices, soft drinks and alcohol. This menu is able to be viewed online via their website prior to visiting. I've visited multiple times and had avocado on sourdough bread with salmon, eggs benedict and pancakes. I enjoyed the consistency knowing that every time I'd visit, the meals would be of high quality. The staff are very friendly and are proficient in English for non-Spanish speakers. It can be busy however I never had to wait for a table and it's about a ten minute wait for food. The price is about €10-20 euros a person which is a relatively good price in comparison to places of a similar nature. I look forward to coming here again on my next holiday!

We ordered gluten-free pizza, they are frozen supermarket doughs like the ones you can make at home but improved, with delicious tomato, good ingredients and a touch of oven. They have gluten-free daura beer. They are Italian, very nice. I would return

Super disappointing experience, went because it was rated highly on Find Me GF app, but when we spoke to the waiter, everything is fried in the same oil as breaded food, so not coeliac safe at all. Had to change the dish to vegetables in order to eat. They have two friers, so there’s no need to cross contaminate, they could make it safe if they wanted to. Really disappointing. Food was average/subpar irrespective of this, family’s paella was tasteless and overcooked, and the curry flavour on the chicken which isn’t disclosed doesn’t work at all. If you’re going because you think it’s good for allergens or quality food, don’t bother. If you just want a big portion by the sea, you’ll be fine.

We had such a memorable dinner at Oum in Lajares, everything from the warm welcome to the final bite was spot-on. From the moment we arrived, the two waitresses were absolutely lovely and genuinely attentive. When my wife asked about gluten-free options, one of them immediately asked if it was an intolerance or celiac, which showed a great understanding of the difference. My wife has an intolerance, and the digital menu you access via your phone clearly marks gluten-free dishes, which made ordering so easy and reassuring. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with Mediterranean charm, from the soft lighting and textures to the striking tableware. We loved the plates so much we actually tried to find them online, and noticed the couple next to us doing exactly the same, flipping theirs over to check for a brand! The food.....WOW. Every dish was bursting with flavour and freshness. The Chamandar (beetroot) was a standout: so fresh with a subtle spice that was absolutely divine. The dolma was packed with flavour and perfectly balanced. But the highlight was definitely the chich taouk, incredibly succulent, deeply seasoned, and cooked to perfection. I can only describe it as magical. We highly recommend Oum to anyone visiting the area, whether you're gluten-free or just a lover of great food in a stunning setting. Apologies for the half-eaten dish photos...the food was just too tempting to wait!

As a very strict coeliac it was so good to eat Chinese food!! Staff extremely knowledgeable about allergens and advised appropriately. Separate gluten free menu. Food cooked separate and served separate for gf and non coeliac. Staff so friendly, lovely location opposite the beach. Clean too. My son, non coeliac had his food cooked in the seating area by a chef, very impressed with his skills! Such a pleasure to not have to worry about cross contamination in a resturant. Well done on your knowledge and THANK YOU SO MUCH!! VERY HAPPY COELIAC . (GF Chicken & Sweetcorn soup / Chicken Chp Suey & GF chips) All other foods in photos normal not GF.

Today we went out to eat for the first time for my mother's birthday, and everything was unbeatable: atmosphere, location, service, food. We went with my son, who has celiac disease, and they were always attentive to him. Everything was impressive. I recommend it 200%.

I recommend it. We went for lunch as a family. The service was excellent, very friendly and caring with the children. The atmosphere was peaceful. To start, they recommended the garlic bread, which comes with melted cheese and the little ones loved it. We then had BBQ chicken tacos, beef tacos, Mediterranean salad, and lasagna Bolognese. They even made a taco for one of the girls (she loved it), and for my gluten-free option, the "Viva México" nachos. Everything was excellent. We will definitely come back.

Being a weekday it was pretty quiet when we went in but the staff were really welcoming. My wife is gluten free and thwre was no problem getting food for her and when the food arrived it was lovely. Definitely worth visiting if in the area.

We are just back from a holiday in Playa Blanca, our first time in Lanzarote. I need to eat gluten free as I have Coeliac disease, and so it's good to see many menus now have allergens listed which makes things easier for me. I had tried a few of the seafront restaurants over the 10 days and whilst there were options I found some of the food to be a bit lacking in flavour and portion sizes which is disappointing especially considering the prices being charged. So to try to find somewhere realty good for dinner towards the end of our trip I searched for "best restaurant in Playa Blanca" on Google and found the L’Artigiano Forno Ristorante at the top of the list. This was great as the location is just a short 5 minutes walk from our hotel and the gluten free options were abundant. We had one dinner and one lunch at this lovely restaurant and my boyfriend was delighted with the delicious pizza, which was made with care and clearly the freshest ingredients. The gluten free seafood pizza I had was delicious as was the chocolate dessert. The prawns in sizzling garlic oil were also fantastic, we had one portion to share. I did not enjoy the carbonara as much, possibly just my own taste, but it is so good to have the option of gluten free pasta. The service was friendly and attentive, and the price was very good value. This restaurant was a great find, and the only one we repeated over our 10 night stay. Definitely drop by if you are holidaying in Playa Blanca.

I actually recommend it; I've already eaten here twice...they have gluten-free burgers. Today I had takeout...and then I was disappointed at the hotel...I ordered a double burger and a double cheeseburger, paid for them, but they only served one piece of meat each. That's a scam!

A nice restaurant with good food and a great view on the sea! Our waiter, Nauzet, was very helpful and friendly. He thought along very well with us and checked with the kitchen what was possible for me, as I have multiple dietary restrictions. I could eat here gluten-free, lactose-free, and without garlic and onion family (onion, garlic, chives, etc). Even with these requirements, there were quite a few options. They adjusted the dishes well, and the food was still delicious. They could even adjust the paella! B-One also had a lot of tasty mocktail options! Next to this, they also had some live music. The volume was good, so you could still nicely talk with each other. I recommend this restaurant, definitely if you have any dietary requirements. Thank you for the hospitality and the nice evening!

Absolute best McDonalds i've ever visited. Professional and nice staff, thanks for the support! Very important: gluten-free cheeseburger is available - you have to personalize it and choose for schär bread. They did not ask for more money for the gluten-free bread, so it was a very cheap 3.6 eur for 2 gluten-free cheeseburgers! They noticed not everybody asked for the ice cream to be served later - so they came to our desk to check with us. Thanks for that again!

This was a late birthday meal for my partner. The meal was as close to perfect as I could've expected. The waiter looking after us (davide) was knowledgeable about the menu and explained everything very well, how different blends of food went together and advice on cooking the steaks and insured what parts of my pudding my partner could try and she is gluten free. The waygu steak was divine. Good to slow cook it ourselves with little smoker grills, we also got sirloin waygu which was cooked medium rare which was also amazing. Special mention to the sauce that came with the waygu. It quite simply is the best sauce I have ever tasted, the lobster was expceptional, I'm not a great lover of truffle but was perfectly balanced and not too overpowering. Mushroom risotto was so flavourful and reasonably priced, The cannoli pudding was beautiful, fresh home made ice cream was so tasty. The cheesecake, my partner said was the best piece of cheesecake she had ever eaten. To finish it off I was given a shot of locally made honey rum, I could've drank the whole bottle. It was smooth and sweet and was a perfect way to end the meal. The food was that great, the price wasn't even surprising, and was genuinely worth every single penny. We will definatley be coming back here the next time we come to tenerife! .

Views are some of the best I've ever ate at. Make sure you go during sunset. The food was lovely and very reasonable. Drinks were very nice too. They do gluten free pizza and pasta too.
