I expected the staff of an independent place serving folks who need gluten free foods to be more friendly. Not just a one time thing. One experience came when they baked a birthday cake for us just a short time before we picked it up. On the drive home, the icing ran and cake shifted. When called, the lady suggested it was an issue with how the cake was transported. Oh well. --- Edit in response to the reply from the owner, who clearly believes in blaming the customer. I'm sorry you took my review of your business so personally. I did revise the rating as I believe you may have been overwhelmed that day. But after reading experiences of others, they have also been met by a less than friendly response. Here is constructive criticism: Please understand the cake was WARM (not refrigerated sufficiently) when we picked it up. It was not 'perfect' as you say every cake is in that condition. It had been ordered days before the pickup. No car seat is ever flat, and the cake was taken directly and carefully to the birthday party on a cold day - you obviously were busy and must have not been able to make the cake until the last minute to prepare it and it did not have enough time to cool off. I'm trying to be constructive in my review so that you can serve customers better. When that happens, I revise my reviews. You take this as an attack when we are giving you frank feedback so you can improve. Otherwise, we could just walk away and not come back and you'd never know why. We appreciate having a local place to prepare foods for those of us who cannot consume wheat gluten. Unfortunately, you don't take this feedback as a suggestion for how to improve your service -- we hope you will. We still come to your store and buy goods. You mentioned a review I wrote about a McDonald's. Obviously you are taking the time to research my reviews. I'm sorry you are taking this so personally - we all have aches and pains. I am a level 6 reviewer and the overwhelming majority of my reviews are positive because the businesses do their best - and reviews help them to keep improving. I wish you well and truly hope your health improves. I also hope your business continues to grow and meet the needs of your customers. I'll be happy to amend my review when we see you again. 🙏

Surprised with all the gluten free items like mozza stick and fried pickles on the menu. Bacon poutine had real bacon crumble and was sooooo good. This will def be my go to from now on.

Bought a coconut lime cake for a birthday frozen gluten free for 60$. This is the first time trying a gluten free cake hoped will taste the same. - Too sweet - Strong chemical taste of lime - Hard and dry base - No date of baking on the cake Had to throw away not even eating one full slice. WORST CAKE EVER.
