I’ve been a loyal customer of Sofrito because their food is undeniably excellent, and they offer great gluten-free options—a rarity that I appreciate. However, my recent experiences with their service and attention to detail have been increasingly disappointing, to the point where I can no longer support this establishment.
Over the course of my last three orders, there have been consistent issues. On one occasion, the chimichurri was so excessively salty that it was completely inedible. On another order, I received salad but no salad dressing; most recently, my order didn’t include a salad at all. These might seem like small issues independently, but together, they point to a pattern of carelessness that’s hard to overlook, especially considering the cost of dining here. My dish alone was over $36—at that price point, I expect the details to matter.
What’s even more frustrating is how poorly the management handled these issues. When I called after the chimichurri incident, I spoke to a manager who dismissed my concerns and did nothing to resolve the problem. More recently, when I called about the missing salad, they informed me that they had just started omitting salads—something a customer shouldn’t have to find out after the fact. To make matters worse, when I called again to address these repeated problems, the manager offered only a 20% credit, claiming that they couldn’t do more because they “didn’t have the item in front of them.” This response came across as dismissive and gave the impression that the manager either didn’t believe me or didn’t care to make things right.
Had we been dining in the restaurant, these issues could have been corrected immediately. But as takeout customers, we’ve been left feeling disregarded and undervalued. It’s incredibly disappointing to see such a great restaurant fail so miserably at customer service and consistency. While we gave them multiple opportunities to address our concerns, nothing was adequately resolved.
Unfortunately, this will be the last time we dine at Sofrito. Excellent food can only make up for so much when the service falls so short.
Went to Tony’s on 05.06.25. This used to be my favorite restaurant. I grew up going to Disney every other year, and I always made sure we went to Tony’s 1 to 2 times each trip. So, I have been to Tony’s at least seven or so times, but this will probably be my last time. They used to have amazing gluten-free bread and pasta, but they have changed it. I did not make it through the bread, which was cold, dry, and tasteless, nor did I eat much of the pasta. I got the Gluten-free Fettucine shrimp, which was sub-par at best. I did not make it halfway through; the shrimp was overcooked, and a few looked off. My sister, who was with me, said Olive Garden was better than Tony’s. I was incredibly disappointed with the downgrade in the gluten-free options here, and I'm sad to say that Tony’s is no longer my favorite restaurant.
Lots of options for gluten free and they will bring you food not from buffet to avoid cross contamination.
Personally got bacon, eggs, fruit, gf mickey waffles, Mac and cheese, shrimp, cheddar potato hash. Bacon eggs, shrimp fruit and waffles were good. Mac and cheese was not great neither was hash. Very expensive for what the food was to be honest. 60 something a person.
That being said our son loved meeting the characters from the 100 acre woods.
This definitely felt like a fun storybook meal. The decor and ambiance was lovely. Food was good, My sister has celiacs disease, which can't have any possible cross contamination with gluten. Disney is always great at accommodating allergies. She was brought slightly different versions of the food I was brought. Character interactions were great, all the characters came to our table except the Queen, who summons you to her at her discretion.
It was worth it for our experience.
Seriously the best steaks we’ve ever had! I’m gluten free and was very impressed with how seriously the restaurant took my allergy. GF rolls, GF poutine (so, so wonderful) and then I got the filet with risotto. Service was impeccable. It’s pricey, but was well worth it!
