We chose this restaurant for the gluten free options. The menu looked really good and so did the specials. Unfortunately, the buffalo cauliflower dish was inconsistent, some pieces still cold inside while others fine. I also ordered the crab cakes which were very soggy and didn't have much flavor. The string potatoes that came with the crab cake were supposed to be crunchy but they were soft/stale. It seems like most of the food is frozen then quickly reheated, which would explain why the temperature and consistency was off. The food came out SUPER fast which also makes me believe it's frozen and not reheated properly. Too bad, we were really hoping to have a go-to gluten free friendly spot in Philly but likely won't be going back. I had a mocktail which tasted great and our server was so incredibly friendly.

Loyal soldiers in there. When you walk in you’re kissed with the surprise of the music selection, anywhere from Welcome to the Black Parade front to back, or a sampling of Escape to Margaritaville the musical. Gluten free bread is so good.

The best gluten-free fried chicken in Philly, with a fantastic spice blend. Take out or eat in. Portions are big, so go hungry. Staff always have a smile.

I have celiac disease. I've eaten here many times and I've never been sick. The only thing on the menu that isn't GF are the churros, but they have a dedicated GF fryer! Love the food. I will be back here many times.

Amada has the best brunch in all of Philly! They have the friendliest staff who are very knowledgeable about allergy-friendly items on the menu. Their refreshing and flavorful $5 sangria at brunch is an absolute steal and worth the visit alone! Some of my favorite items (which are gluten free) include the gambas (garlic shrimp), meat and cheese with lavender honey, Amanda’s breakfast hash and their French fries. Their dinner is as delicious as the brunch but significantly more expensive.

Rene C. represented the best that hospitality has to offer. His knowledge of the menu was impeccable. His recommendations exactly spot on. I will definitely dine here again, and I will ask for Rene by name. One of the guests in our party had a celiac disease gluten allergy, and he was especially attentive and accommodating. In fact, he and the chef went extraordinarily out of their way to send this diner home with an extra serving of the soup which she loved so much.
