It was sooo good I did not take pictures!!!!
I recently ordered takeout from Melow Mushroom on Powers Ferry Rd one evening, and despite the pizza being on the expensive side, it turned out to be one of the best pizzas I've had in Atlanta.
We decided to build our own pizzas, and I have to say, they were absolutely worth it. One of the pizzas was gluten-free with a gluten-free crust, and it was delicious! I wasn't expecting much, especially since the prices seemed a bit high, but it was totally worth every penny. We can't wait to go back for more.
I highly recommend building your own pizza because you can create some amazing combinations. For the gluten-free pizza, I chose a pesto base with tomatoes, basil, and chicken, and it was incredible—honestly, it was even better than the other pizza we ordered with a regular base, pepperoni, and various vegetables.
Although we haven't had the chance to dine in at the restaurant, I 100% recommend ordering from Melow Mushroom. If you're in the mood for a great pizza, don't hesitate to try it!
What an incredible gem nestled in the heart of Marietta! This restaurant truly stands out for its exceptional attention to detail and commitment to guest safety and satisfaction.
First and foremost, they offer a dedicated gluten-free menu and take food allergies very seriously. For anyone with dietary restrictions or concerns, this establishment goes above and beyond to create a safe and accommodating dining experience. It’s clear that they prioritize their guests’ well-being, which is both comforting and impressive.
The service has been consistently outstanding across my visits. I’ve dined here four times, each with a different server, and every single one provided attentive, friendly, and professional service. It’s rare to find such consistency in hospitality, and it’s a testament to the quality of their team.
As for the food, it’s nothing short of amazing! Pictured here is the waffle board from their brunch menu, and it’s absolutely fantastic—a perfect combination of presentation and flavor that makes for a memorable dining experience.
If you’re looking for a place that combines delicious food, thoughtful accommodations for dietary needs, and excellent service, this spot is an absolute must-visit. I can’t recommend it highly enough!
Celiacs beware!! I visited this restaurant for the first time last Friday in the hopes of enjoying some yummy GF pasta. I'm allergic to both wheat and gluten so I don't eat pasta often, however I saw signage on store front offering Gluten Free options - excited to try it out I went inside and spoke with someone in food prep. I asked the young woman preparing my food what they use in their GF noodles (rice, corn, garbanzo, etc.) and she did not know nor did she care to find out. Against my better judgement, I still proceeded to order because frankly I was hungry. Once my order was ready, I asked the person in food prep again, (just to be sure) that my order was in fact GF. She replied that it was and how she made sure to use the GF noodles for my meal. Unfortunately, it was not GF, and I was sick most of the night (I ate dinner around 4pm that day). I will never return to this restaurant and I would strongly advise other Celiacs to stay away.
We came here because of their Gluten Free options. Food tasted very good. The Service was great too and it was not crowded. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the table and chairs were a little sticky. But a good experience in general.
This place has been here forever! Authentic Mexican with friendly servers. The food is always good and they have corn tortillas and chips for those of us who are gluten free!
Marlow's Tavern is in a great location near a theater and othe shops and restaurants. Great for lunch or dinner. Nice menu with a full list of gluten free items. Busy and easy to have a conversation with companions.
A classic NJ diner in GA! Huge portions of food and tasty. We did Chicken and Waffles along with Cheese Ravioli and Grilled Chicken in Alfredo Sauce. Lots of gluten free options
Took over 10 minutes for someone to come to our table and the place was empty. Order gluten free carnitas tacos and they put them on flour tortilla also they were very salty.
The food was delicious, and Junior was very kind. The whole experience would have been 5 stars if it weren't for Junior being there by himself. He had the BEST attitude and was so helpful when I called in my order and requested a gluten free setting. However, a whole restaurant on one guy is not fair. He deserves better, and doing it all with a smile is even rarer! I hope management finds more staffing so Junior has some help. Junior deserves financial accolades in exchange for his hard work and his compassion. Great experience with him, clean atmosphere, I just hope when I'm back, Junior is not the only one running the place. Thank you Junior for your hard work!
We had dinner reservations for 6 PM. We were seated at a high top table booth in the bar of a more empty than not restaurant. My husband and I are very tall and I felt like I was eating off a table top at my neck. Plus we have long legs and we joked that we were in leg jail with all the metal poles supporting the bar top preventing us any comfort.
Our entrees arrived promptly and were mediocre. I appreciate dining out because I so often prepare farm fresh meals at home so its nice to enjoy a meal prepared by someone else. My short rib entree was fair but I did think my mashed potatoes were Costco Main St and for a $35 entree I was very unimpressed. The highlight of our dinner were my husbands fries which I did not eat because I am Celiac. Oh about that. They use GF on the menu which is why we wanted to try this restaurant. American servers have a learning curve to get through to understand you don’t need to ask someone who orders GF if they have celiac. Yes I have an autoimmune disease which compromises my day to day living but the server need not ask me those details ie is it celiac. A server is not a nurse nor do they need to manage my food choices. I guarantee I know what choices I am making as this is my life living with an auto immune disease. Just like someone with a heart condition who asks for light salt isn’t asked if the have high blood pressure or cancer.
When it was time to leave we extracted our legs from leg jail and walked by the dining room with dining tables and chairs many of which were still unseated I knew this was the last time I’d visit Seed. Dinner reservations require seating guests at a dining table not an uncomfortable bar top. And if I order GF entree just say ok. Don’t warn me not to eat the fries its hard enough as it is knowing i cant take that risk. If I ask if I can eat the fries thats different.
Myles was awesome! I'm not lying when I say this, I said, "I need napkins," and immediately after saying it, the napkins magically appeared. He's a mind reader. Also, if you are gluten-free, they have the chips for you. Just make sure to ask. Great service and food, I'm here almost weekly.
