My husband has celiac and so we never eat anywhere that is 100% GF. I had read great reviews online about Riz’s and when we were there on a trip I pushed for us to go and try it. I am so glad I did, every dish we tried was delicious. I loved how soft and tender the dumplings were, the Peking duck and wrappers were amazing. The Peking dumpling special were so flavorful and tender. We over ordered at the table knowing we would take it all back to the hotel for us to to reheat and eat the rest of the week. Peking Duck for breakfast is something everyone should try, it was amazing the next morning still. The owner was so gracious and friendly, we listened to every recommendation and was thrilled with everything we had. We even took one of each dessert home and they were all amazing. I highly recommend eating here for celiacs and non celiacs alike. It is so wonderful to find a place that understands the importance of a GF completely safe no cross contamination kitchen AND also makes the most delicious Asian food you can have. While we didn’t have every item on the menu we did try a lot of plates and every single plate was delicious. We will ALWAYS come back when in Toronto, this restaurant is such a win, I wish they delivered to Brooklyn 🥰

We got the tempura, some sushi, swordfish, bruschetta! Everything was unreal. The cocktails and mocktails were very well made too! Fully Gluten Free restaurant which was amazing for celiacs! Highly recommend.

In the land of sushi in Vancouver this restaurant hits at a solid okay. I say that because it advertises itself as gluten free which was the main draw for us. We made a reservation which seems like it’s mandatory. The tuna tataki, karaage and tempura we ordered was great. The gyoza was a big let down. It was made with rice paper and resembled an egg roll more but it also fell apart and came stacked on top of each other. I wouldn’t consider them gyoza. The service was okay but once the restaurant was half full it was non existent. Something that most may not care about but I noticed was we all got different plates and there were no side plates for soy sauce or other sauces. Table setting was lack luster. For gluten free it was decent but I hope they continue to work on their GF options into the future.

Soooooo good!! Highly recommend whether you need to eat gluten free or not! Super fresh, hot & fantastic tasting gluten free Chinese food. It's better than any "regular" Chinese food I'd had prior to being diagnosed celiac. Everything we tried was delicious - fried rice, chop suey, chicken balls, general tao chicken, etc. but my favourite was the honey garlic pork. Everything was so good we ordered more food for takeout to go along with our leftovers from dinner. Also a great selection of frozen items. It was well worth the hour & a half drive for us to get there & we'll definitely make the trip to get there a few times a year!

Absolutely worth going to. Yes my short review is biased, but if you read the longer version below. It’ll make sense. Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Cleanliness: 10/10 Speed: 10/10 For the longer review - those who care to read: I won't pretend the restaurant is like a five-star hotel. In comparison to your top high-end luxury restaurants, it would be four stars. But you can't compare apples to oranges. The one most crucial thing to note is the belief, the idea, and the story behind the restaurant. They are specially tailored to people who have strict allergy requirements. My personal needs are to avoid gluten, nuts, egg, and more. Try that anywhere else…. Most places will just "nicely" shoo you away—and while I understand any restaurant ultimately is a business to cater to the masses, those of us who have strict, deathly dietary requirements can finally experience a place to dine without fear. To enjoy a time with family and friends eating the same things. To experience the fun and joy of picking at another person's plate. For those reasons, and to me, it's better than any Michelin-star restaurant. If you have allergies to gluten, if you have celiac disease, you can finally share the experience too. You may come out an emotional train wreck like me.

100% recommend trying out this place if you have not yet. We ordered BBQ pork fried rice, spicy garlic prawns and crispy ginger beef. Portion size was really good for what I paid. I was very pleased and happy to find a resturant that has food I like that all the items I ordered here are gluten free.

I’m a Celiac and they had so many options for me it was AMAZING. I haven’t had Sushi and Tempura Shrimp and Calamari in YEARS The staff are amazing so helpful and it was so much fun. Words cannot describe how wonderful this experience was

Fantastic gluten free menu with lots of choice. I've ordered from the gf menu multiple times, have never had any cross contamination issues & trust the kitchen completely. Best yet, choices of breaded & deep fried items! Wonton soup! Multiple noodle options! A great option for gf meals

I dine in and order take out from here religiously. The food is consistently really good and they are so extremely careful with allergies. I have celiac disease and I never worry about eating here. The staff are always kind and helpful. My take out orders always arrive hot and well packaged. I really appreciate this business and all their efforts to be truly gluten free. Went to celebrate our mom’s legacy at her favourite restaurant! Ordered dinner for 6 plus 2 more ppl and added 2 dishes. Gluten free for a few of us! Fresh, hot, delivered to the large round table with smiles! Our famous hostess came and sang a “b day” song with us ! Owner gentleman took our pic outside! This place is fantastic from every aspect. The moment we stepped foot in the door we received a warm welcome. Our gluten and dairy allergies were catered for with ease. We massively over ordered but found all dishes to have such great flavour. The food is very fresh and tasted very traditional in the way it was cooked. Ben and his team are really setting the standards for how customers should be treated whilst serving amazing food right here in wonderful Calgary. We will be back

BEST PLACE FOR GLUTEN FREE/VEGAN FINE DINING!!! Super fancy, absolutely delicious, amazing atmosphere with the live musicians. My fiance and I were swooning over how luxurious our anniversary dinner was. Its been a long time since we've found a place that meets our dietary restrictions AND makes us feel like we had a real fancy night out. Cannot recommend this place enough. Also, try the silk route feast! Its worth every penny!!🤤

This was my second time eating here and although the food was delicious giving my celiac wife Tom Yum soup that wasn’t prepared gluten free is unacceptable. We came here back in September because of there large selection of items that can be made gluten free and celiac safe. The server who helped us the first time was very knowledgeable and said they would take extra caution. This time we told the server at least three different times that my wife was celiac and we will order everything gluten free. She still asked about allergies and then assured us everything would be gluten free. A different server or food runner brought the soup and then walked away. Our server brought the mains and said both dishes are gluten free. When we got the bill the two main dishes said **allergy next to it but the soup didn’t. I was hopeful that it was a typo and the soup was gluten free…not 10 minutes later as we got back to the hotel my wife’s celiac flair was in full force and she was out for the night in pain. It’s disappointing that a restaurant with a Michelin star would be this careless

My to-go dinning joint when I wish to eat at Toronto’s BEST vegan and plant based fine dining cuisine at Planta- Toronto Queen Street location. From wait staff to servers and of-course the food- the bestest of ALL. I have soy and gluten allergy and the kitchen took care of my dietary request-with utmost love and care. Visiting from Calgary and stopped by Remedy Café for their gluten-free options. The staff assured me food prep is safe for celiacs, with a separate prep area, toaster, and utensils. Tried the coconut chicken wrap on a GF wrap, Punjabi style — absolutely flavorful and filling. Saved half for later! Great experience and will definitely be back. Shoutout to the server for being knowledgeable of gluten free practices and a stellar recommendation for my wrap!

Always LOVE Sansho Sushi, and visit often. They are always busy with dine-in and take out orders, which tells you it’s a great spot. Never had to wait for a table though, and the staff are always friendly & attentive no matter the time or day. Excellent selection of boxes and special items. The highlight is the gluten free menu!! Super thankful for a sushi spot that offers so many gluten free options- including teriyaki!! I love their chicken teriyaki roll, V4 roll (vegetable) and spicy salmon roll. The miso soup is also Gf and delicious.

Cannot thank Angela and the team at Banh Mi Day enough for taking on my massive catering order for my office this week. Not only was the communication incredible (including suggestions on how many platters/types of platters to order), but when the food arrived day of, it was so carefully packages and labelled to make setting it out for staff that much easier. It was a first ordering banh mi to the office and it was an absolutely hit - especially with my gluten free and halal staff. Will definitely be ordering for catering in the future, as well as continuing to stop by for a banh mi and Vietnamese iced coffee on my own time.

Ordered probably half the menu by now. My favourite thing surprisingly is the tofu and I order it every time. I’m celiac and love how comprehensive the menu is. Most gf menus eliminate more than half the options. Actually forgot to order one dish (via skip) gluten free and they called to double check. I spent a lot but so good I always order a lot! 10 out of 10!

I learned that Lapointe's had a gluten-free fish and chips option, so decided to give it a try. It was so delicious, generous portions, and service was super quick. The server was pleasant and courteous, and took the time to explain the other GF options. It was definitely worth the trip from the east end to Bells Corners. Highly highly recommended.

We went there today as a table of 5 and we were very excited as we heard very good things about their gluten free menu. No sooner did we order and a mouse ran across the floor below our table! The food came and I’m not sure what kind of meat is used in the egg rolls but they were the worst I’ve ever had. No one at the table ate as the food was not good. Photo attached of what was left due to the poor quality. I do not recommend it for the food! The atmosphere with the fish tanks was great for the kids! They loved watching the fish in the tanks and pond.

We have been going to Asian’s with our family for years and it is the closest we have found to a UK curry in Vancouver - which is a huge compliment as the best curry restaurants in the world are in the UK! Chef Rick has been in this business for over 45 years and he makes everyone feel welcome. All dishes are freshly prepared. He is there early every day prepping all the ingredients. For diabetics it is particularly good - he does not use sugar but instead does magic with onions to introduce a sweetness. This makes the butter chicken the best ever. I can eat here without the food spiking my blood sugars at all - as long as I don’t stuff in too much Nan! The Tandoori mix grill is the best I have had. Mushroom matter is a favorite as is Lamb Sag. Did I mention the butter chicken! He often gives our grandkids a box of home made sweets to go. Gluten free options available and ample free parking on the street outside. I have noticed that Prices have not gone up since before COVID - go along as you won’t be disappointed.

At first glance this place wasn't what I was expecting. The cook was super friendly and welcoming. The gluten free chicken was SO GOOD!! I'd definitely have it again. The dynamite roll was ok, the gf breaded shrimps were the star of that dish and the rest were just supporting actors.. thanks

Visited for the first time, initially planned to do carry out but decided to eat in as it was quiet. Service was fast and extremely pleasant. There was a slight mix up with one item ordered, but it was swiftly taken care of without issue. Food was delicious, and for me personally, finding good gluten free (celiac safe) options can be a challenge - I will definitely be returning here as the honey glazed garlic chicken (GF) was devine! Customer service was first class. Definitely recommend!!
