My first time visiting Hawkers. I have to be Gluten Free, not only was the server Mikel knowledgeable about my options. A friend suggested the Singapore Mei Fun and it was absolutely delicious. We also had some Shrimp Rice rolls and they were also delicious! All tasted very fresh. If you have never been go!!!!

The food here is absolutely delicious! Everything is fresh and has such depth of flavor. They’re also very knowledgeable about gluten free foods and have many options for those who can’t eat gluten. We’ll be back soon!

An invite from our friend @thetipjarnash took us to @sundanewasian for one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Nashville. Its name is a nod to the Southeast Asian continental shelf underlying the region inspiring the myriad of flavors highlighted by the array of cuisine from founder @billydec and executive chef @mike_sunda From Dim Sum to sushi rolls, main courses and “new Asian creations,” there is truly something on the menu for everyone. Also a huge thanks to Matt for his hospitality and attention. Thank you Sunda for a top-notch experience from food to service, start to finish. *Bibingka was an off-menu dessert item that you absolutely should ask for. If you happen to have a gluten sensitivity, bonus points that this cake is made with rice flour! In fact, many items on the menu are friendly to dairy, gluten and other allergies or sensitivities. Also of note, most of their cocktails can be served as mocktails without sacrificing any flavor so you can still drink decadently without imbibing!

I ordered a delivery order from website, and the driver said they left it at a vague location (in a Nashville hospital) and I never was Able to find the food. I was upset, called the store and spoke to a associate who said they do not give out refunds and I needed to call door dash to handle that (even though I did it through their site, not door dash). I was upset because I hadnt eaten all day and just spent 25 bucks on food I never got. Thankfully a very nice gentleman, Mr. Scott, their GM, called me quickly to discuss my concerns and resolve my problem and got my food delivered to me quickly! I really appreciated him taking the time to make sure it got to me and was done correct. As someone with celiac disease, I do like this place because they offer gluten free options. So thank you GM Scott for helping me!

I have now dined at this restaurant 4 times since November and I drive an hour from Manchester TN to dine here. I just had dinner there with my mom last night and I can say every time I have dined at this restaurant, we have incredible servers and waiters who are very attentive and so friendly. My mom is gluten free and the waiters are always cognizant of this. I know most people want to write in about a poor experience, but I can’t sing enough praises about O-Ku and how it’s worth the hour plus drive every time. 10/10 experience every time! Thank you ❤️

WOW! That’s the only thing I have to say is WOW!! Before I could eat anything, my eyes were jumping all around the restaurant looking at all the different meals and smells. I was in complete disbelief, and had NO idea what to eat! Literally everything looked good… once decided, I had the Tofu Green Curry! It was vegan and gluten free! The meal made me want to melt in my seat. I also enjoyed a refreshing “Bubbly” (lychee vodka champagne drink). I was in cloud 9. This place felt like home!! The atmosphere was cozy, yet welcoming! The music was fantastic. Everything was clean and prepared FAST!! Now, about me server Jake.. 10/10! He was killing it today. I would remember asking for him!! You won’t regret coming here. Honestly.. this place deserves a Michelin star.

New management changed everything that was good about this place :( Our orders took forever and still came out wrong. UPDATE: I’m gluten free and picked only gluten free labeled items - I had a terrible allergic reaction.

Visiting from California and was in need of top shelf food that could accommodate my (many) food allergies. Present Tense delivered! The food was so incredible!! Every staff member was aware of my allergies and made me feel at ease. The sake is out of this world good, and cocktails are as amazing! This will for sure be the spot for food or even just drinks with friends. The restaurant is such a vibe. Try Pure Land Sake & the Andorra cocktail! Also the Miyazaki Wagyu was one of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten. For reference I’m Gluten Free and allergic to peanuts and shellfish.

The food was definitely good- and they have some of the only gluten free food in the farmers market. Gluten free spring rolls, noodles, chickens, etc. The food was nothing crazy good but it was pretty good and they give very filling portions The price of the food is a bit steep, $20-$30+ per person, but it's not the worst. Also, while the fruit teas were good, they didn't have much fruit flavor (I got the pomegranate drink) and it tasted like tea.
