Visited on a weekday it was at capacity. Their cakes and assorted baked products look visually appealing and delicious. They do bake gluten free cake. Worth a visit for a coffee or shopping for a cake for a special occasion this is the place to go.
Cute little cafe nestled down a shady alley. The prices are reasonable and the food is good quality. Good quiet spot to catch up with friends. Many options on the menu including many gluten free options. Pictured is gluten free schnitty and butter chicken (special for the day)
First time getting Gluten-free bread and pretty disappointed. Very small feed - got 2 sandwiches for $46 and pretty underwhelmed with the size. Don’t think I’ll be ordering again. Definitely delicious though.
So fresh and tasty. The sushimi salmon is the best I've had. A large gluten free range, but just remembered to ask for gluten free soya sauce as the one on the table has wheat.
Delicious pizza! Friendly and polite customer service :-) Lulu’s is our regular pizza place, the whole family loves it!
Their vegan cheese & gluten free options are amazing!
Are you kidding me?!
Amazing spot. Welcoming staff, chill vibes, and most importantly, mouth watering food with TONS of gluten free options. I had the waffles and they were to die for
Unsure how this pizza joint has high reviews. We got a gluten-free base, yes they aren’t the best tasting bases, but this was the driest we’ve ever had. Freezer burnt taste. We hoped the toppings would get us through but they were so tasteless, very little sauce, cheese very bland.. chicken non-existent for the “Classic chicken pizza”, the margarita pizza was so bland it was hard to eat. Would not be back again.
We popped in for lunch, Cafe very full, but we were given a lovely table by a window!
Perfect!
Ordered, Asian salad with lemongrass chicken, fritters, with corn and zucchini, and a bowl of chips to share, a coke and a green tea. Food was absolutely delicious 😋
Service was perfect, and atmosphere just delightful 🥰
We will be back!!
We took some gluten free desserts home to have for supper!! CANT WAIT!!🤗
Look very delicious 😋
If I could give 6 stars I could!
Friendly service, great selection of food, spring rolls gluten free to die for, everything was so tasty, only issue it gets very noisy as it is busy even during the week and you need to book way in advance but it is so worth it. A bit pricey but happy to pay more for good fresh and tasty food. Service was consistent but not intrusive, they give you fortune cookies when you finish dinner, it was funny to read the messages inside. This place is highly recommended! Only do 6 pm or 8:30 dinner as it gets quieter and you can have a conversation. Oh and the settings are so beautiful it seems to go back in time. An awesome experience!
A tiny little hole in the wall place below some apartments , it blends in with the surrounding area , right across from a small football/ soccer field . Frankly bagels has a nice selection and my friend and I had a hard time deciding what to eat . The staff were friendly and they helped with our choices . Luckily we came in as we did , as they nearly ran out of gluten free bagels .
I had the tuna and bagel , with Swiss cheese , capers and pickled chili ,fennel and herbs . It had flour in spades , and a slight chili kick , with the added addition of lots a thinly sliced cucumber. It was very refreshing. The bagel itself wasn’t bad , but gluten free bagels are a little difficult to get right , so it was a little dry , but you definitely couldn’t beat the filling !
My friend and I also shared one of the specials, and hitch was a pistachio cream , with raspberries and roasted pistachios . This was the standout bagel for me - the pistachio cream cheese made it almost a cheesecake consistency, with the added piquancy of the fresh raspberries and the crunch of the toasted pistachios adding extra texture. Whoever thought of this combination deserves a raise !
Frankly bagels use St Ali coffee, a well known roaster from South Melbourne which has a nice depth to it . It’s a good all round coffee which was made well here .
There are a lot of smaller cafes around this area , and you are spoilt for choice ! It’s nice when cafes specialize in a particular food , this is obviously a local place which is becoming well known .

Extremely great experience.
We went to Koyo for Valentine’s Day and had the set menu.
The staff were incredibly lovely and they were able to change everything to suit gluten free dietary requirements without any stress at all.
Will definitely be going back again soon.
Super cool vibe, wonderful food and aparently, serving gluten free bread that does not taste like cardboard. A must try. Attached to the café there is a second hand clothing shop that delivers on quality and price. A must visit.
Can't recommend this place enough, delicious menu and amazing customer service. Specifically, as a coeliac, they were phenomenal with gluten free options and meticulous to remove any possible cross-contamination. So grateful to have this option now!!
