We opted for G-Woo as we were heading into Leeds after for an event at the arena so being a Coeliac I knew we wouldn't be disappointed. I'd had a few takeaways from here previously but had never eaten in the restaurant. We were early diners at 5pm and the restaurant was empty for a while - that was fine by me! Lovely restaurant, clean and tidy. The food - well, i've usually a choice of 2 or 3 dishes in local restaurants so I was super impressed with having so many things to choose from. All piping hot and full of flavour. Both the non alcoholic cocktails and the beer were lovely. Simon served us throughout and as he wasn't rushed off his feet he chatted with us, especially the other half as they have a mutual love of Leeds united! We thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely head back when we're next in the area. We were pleasantly full and had enough left over to take some home with us, always a bonus!

She’s always so friendly and helpful, and makes our meals better with her fantastic service. Extra bonus for being so accommodating to gluten allergies.

Held a private function in the newly extended room and it was perfect for the size of the group (25). Rob the owner was really helpful in setting the room up just as we wanted it, nothing was too much trouble and the catering was fantastic and accommodated some of the group who wanted gluten free food. Wheelchair accessible.

Bottomless brunch here on a Sunday - Abbie-F was on the ball with making sure we had our next cocktails order in any time we got close to running out! Really great service and food was very tasty. Would definitely recommend. Cocktails were delicious! We stuck to rum-based. I'm gluten free and had the jerk pork belly. Second time having this and had no problems either times! Just make sure you let them know :)

Great food, as always. I tried a new dish from their new menu. All the greens on toast made for a delicious breakfast - it had a really nice creamy butterbean base, a subtle kick of citrus tang, perfect amount of saltiness from the feta, crunch from the seeds, with a good hearty amount of veg and I loved that crispy kale! Love that they have so many gluten-free options on the menu. A 5/5 and will be back for more! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great pub. Always a pleasant atmosphere. Often come in for a drink and it’s always a nice place to sit and chat. Went over Christmas for food too which was excellent. The staff were able to make several dishes gluten free for one member of our party. One of my favourite places in Leeds. Hoping they keep the pub when they develop the building in future years

The food and drink were great. I had the Tagliatelle al Fungi and it was better than the Tagliatelle I had in Rome last year. My partner had a gluten free pizza and it was the best gluten free pizza she's ever had. The pizza base had a "bite" to it unlike the cardboard bases she has had elsewhere. The only reason I have left a poor review is because they don't accept cash. Cash is still legal tender and I should have been able to use it to pay for my meal. We left with a feeling of satisfaction from the food and drink but not being able to use cash has left a bad taste. It's all we talked about for 10 minutes after we left, mainly due to the fact that not once were we informed that they were card only. We were only informed AFTER the bill arrived and I tried to pay with cash. Good experience until the end. Thanks for replying Nino. I've updated my review. The previous rating I gave felt a bit harsh given the quality of the food, drink and service. I was just a bit annoyed in the moment as I like to pay cash wherever I go.

Lovely place. We were a large group and were very well looked after. Excellent food (big fan of the fritters), and they catered well for coeliacs. Great vibe in there, and the staff were super friendly.

Terrible experience from lack of flavour food to the awful service from Josh the assistant Man... Aug 2024 My wife and I take a date night/ day each month as we have a hectic life with work and 7 year old little girl. Yesterday we wanted to travel up to leeds from Derby to enjoy a Virgin holiday gift voucher that, I bought for my wife for Xmas. The start of our experience and Brasserie Blanc Leeds, was as expected good. Helpful as my wife is Gluten and dairy intolerant. (Unfortunately not loads on the menu for choice, however ran through the options). THATS when our experience and day got RUINED! The waiter came across and asked how the meal was, I had mentioned that mine wasn't great (king prawns) however had eaten it as l was starving (I had been up since 3am and had a yogurt, whilst traveling). The prawns were over cooked and dry and the main was under seasoned. The assistant manager Josh came over and asked also, I mentioned it to him and said I don't want to complain it's just my personal opinion and my wife's was like a watery broth that also lacked flavour. Response was excuses instead of trying to help. I had made a comment that Greggs would have more flavour. After 30 minutes no one came over to take our deserts order. Josh made every effort not to come over to us. Which we got up and left and gave Josh the voucher. As we were leaving a lady did come out to apologise and Josh stood at the door. l asked why he didn't come over and said I thought you had been served as the menus were not in the table, I mentioned you had been serving us this afternoon and knew I didn't enjoy my main meal. More excuses came out. God awful customer service! As we were walking away Josh made a flippant remark "enjoy your Greggs!" This is shameful and uncalled for! Appalling behaviour that I wouldn't expect!
