I’ve heard such amazing things about this place so I was really excited to try it. I ordered my food on Uber eats so that may have made the difference with dine out. The pizza was OK, I didn’t love the cheese and there wasn’t a lot of sauce. However, the bread was great especially gluten-free. The fries were a little bit cold so that might be why they weren’t so good but I wasn’t in love. And the mac & cheese was OK. It was probably the best thing out of all three items that I tried. I just wish it had more cheese. I would definitely try it again, but would try different items or in person this time.
Mmmm! 💗
The Dough Room!
My pizza was so tasty 🍕
I’ve been to a few pizza places with gluten free and this spot had a delicious gluten free crust! 🤤
I topped my pizza with alot of tasty toppings like,
Olive oil
Crème fraiche
Onion
Broccolini
Garlic
Mushrooms
Black olives
Arugula
Herbs
Basil
SOOO GOOD
I ate it for dinner & breakfast 😄😄

Delicious ramen! The gluten free noodles were the best, and the broth can be made gluten free as well. Celiac friendly, didn't have a reaction! Try with the cheese, it's a surprising addition, and it comes on the side so you can adjust to your taste. A bit pricey, especially for the additional ingredients and GF noodles. I didn't like the impersonal ordering via a screen instead of with a waiter, but I guess I get it from the restaurant's perspective...
We had a very nice server and there’s a great ambiance at Scopa, perfect for dates and connecting with friends alike. They have a gorgeous bar, large window, candles on the tables, and all of our food came perfectly coursed. We were easily able to make a same-day reservation via the Resy app, and I do recommend making a reservation in advance because it was popping when we arrived. For parking, you can either park in the connected valet lot ($13 on a Monday) or look for free street parking (we found it pretty easily, but then again it was a Monday).
There are the top four absolute must-order items you should order to share:
1. Hot Antipasti - Scallops Oreganata ($23) with brown butter, bread crumbs, & lemon. I’m gluten free so I asked for no breadcrumbs, and I also recommend ordering a side of gluten free bread to dip in the brown butter after you finish enjoying the scallops because they have the absolute best gluten free cheesecheese bread! They only came with 2 scallops in an order so consider ordering enough so each person can have at least 1 full scallop.
2. Hot Antipasti - Mortadella Meatballs ($21) with pistachio pesto, arugula, & parmesan cheese. This came with 3 medium-large sized meatballs covered in a delicious green pesto - don’t let looks deceive you, even if this isn’t how you expect meatballs to look they’re delish.
3. Cold Antipasti - Heirloom Tomatoes ($18) with sweet onion, basil, ricotta salata cheese, sherry vinegar, & olive oil. If you enjoy tomatoes of all shapes and sizes, this is the dish for you. My favorite were the little orange tomatoes.
4. Salad - Raw Brussels Sprouts Salad ($22) with generous pecorino romano cheese, parsley, grapes, olive oil, sherry vinegar, & toasted almonds. This was a good portion size and the best raw Brussels sprouts I’ve ever had.
While I did really enjoy the flavor of oysters themselves and their sauces, and I do want to put them as item 5 to order, each of the oysters had some shell bits had to spit out, and it only came with 1 spoon and 0 mini forks. The oysters come with lemon slices, cocktail sauce, shredded horseradish, mignonette, and are $4.50 each with a minimum of 6. I would order them again, but enjoy them carefully and hope that they’re shucked better next time.
However…
Maybe things were off because it was a Monday and they had multiple large last minute parties walk in. Maybe I should have gone for the pastas instead of the below because it is an Italian restaurant. Maybe I’m just a person who enjoys more seasoning on seafood or less sauce on pork chops, but a few of the dishes weren’t exactly as good as I was expecting.
Unless you love canned tuna, absolutely avoid the Sicilian Tuna Cold Antipasti ($19) with market green beans, fingerling potato, capers, lemon, & olive oil. It wasn’t until we mentioned to our server our strong disappointment with the dish, as we were expecting either Tuna Crudo or Seared Tuna, that our server told us that he usually steers guests away from it. It also had zero seasoning, and boy did it need it. It also feels like this dish should have automatically been served with crackers.
The Amberjack Crudo ($25) with watermelon radish, bulls blood micro greens, & herb oil needed a combo-sauce or a stronger flavored oil, as it was very bland as-is. Luckily not a fishy-fish, but still lackluster for their only fish crudo on the menu.
For the Mains, they were already sold out of the 24oz T-bone Steak ($82) when we arrived, and the server recommended the Pork Chop. The generous portion of Pork Chop ($66) came with crispy fingerling potatoes, roasted shallots, olives, capers, garlic, balsamic vinegar, & fresh herbs. The balsamic was more of a thick, sweet, heavy glaze, and it overpowered the meat. Personally, we both felt it was over-sauced.
Such a cool place! The server was doing it all and doing such an amazing job! They had gluten free options, which was a plus for us! The food was amazing and a great price!
We were very happy with the food, service and welcoming atmosphere. Our server Chahat was accommodating, flexible, kind and quick! Their prices are very reasonable and there are plenty of vegan and gluten free options. We were there for a birthday party and everyone had a great time. Thank you Electric Karma - we'll be back.
Between the celebrity coffee drinks(use your own picture if you prefer) and the great food, this is the place to go. Omelettes, burritos, or the pancakes are all excellent and for celiacs, available gf as well. I’ve seldom been impressed these days but this place is the exception. Did I mention fast and friendly service? It’s there as well.
Yum! Service was outstanding, very clean tables, and delicious fresh and hot food and at a reasonable price for the food (the alcohol was too fancy $$ for me lol) and the Chocolate Gluten Free cake was so delicious borderline decadent 🤭 definitely recommend even if you aren't in a gluten free diet.
It’s never a bad time at the Cat And Fiddle! Absolutely wonderful service from everyone, there’s literally nothing on the menu that I don’t like! Solid Scotch Egg, Shepard’s Pie, and Hands-down, the BEST fish & chips in the city… even better they’re gluten-free! For a very fun treat-yo-self, they have a Saturday and Sunday brunch where you can pre-order an afternoon ☕️, which is just the cutest most British thing ever. 🇬🇧 🤩
I often use the Yard House as a go to restaurant when trying to accommodate a large group. They have lots of seating and a menu that can accommodate most dietary restrictions (I.e. vegan and gluten free). The food is decent but not special but the large selection is nice with a group. They also have a great selection of craft beer.
Great Italian restaurant, enjoyed the good service. Really popular, whole place filled up by 6pm. I enjoyed the meatballs, portions were giant, could have fed a family. Wished there was a more keto offering, but hey it's an Italian restaurant known for good pasta dishes. Did offer gluten free pasta tho. Enjoyable.
The outside patio was lovely. The deviled eggs and scallops were good. The fries were better. Nothing was gluten free for dessert so I got ice cream from across the street instead.
The menu is extensive! I love the Spinach Benedict and the strawberry french toast (both made gluten free) with their mimosa. This is the perfect weekend/ post-hike treat.
Came here because we saw online that they were Celiac friendly and took allergies seriously. Fries don’t share a fryer with anything else. Gluten-free bun, and they clean the stovetop before they heat it up. Burgers and fries were excellent.
Edit: 3 hours later and husband is still fine. Legit!
The food is incredible , I had the gluten-free flatbread, and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Honestly, I’ve never had anything here I didn’t like. Everything is consistently delicious, the service is always friendly and on point, and the atmosphere? Just amazing.
The music took me back ,it reminded me of home in the best way. There’s something about this place that just feels warm, welcoming, and real.
If you’re looking for great food, great service, and a cozy, nostalgic vibe , this is the spot. Don’t miss it!
Many vegetarian and gluten-free options on the menus, which are all labeled. Food is served family-style and three items were enough for two people. Great bar, too!
Tried this place with a group for the first time last Saturday and everyone in the group was extremely satisfied! We all got pasta and loved our dishes and even some good gluten free pastas(not all dishes available gluten free, but most pastas are). My short rib ravioli with white sauce was fantastic, and adding a picture of it to show how it looks
A lot of great options for my family with various dietary needs (gluten free, vegan)! We enjoyed the poke bowl restaurant, wanderlust creamery, maneatingplant, and dumpling monster.
The best gluten free pizza I have ever had. The bartender was very knowledgeable and took my gluten allergy seriously which was a reassuring experience.
(Gluten free be warned!) Worst experience at a restaurant. Waited 10 min at front while 3 male servers lounged around and didn't help me or ask if I needed a table. When someone finally came, they said I should sit at the bar while they were very friendly and helpful to the people behind me. I sat at the bar for another 10 min, no menu and then was told by a server that I should have used the menu online. The manager didn't care at all. I left....no menu, no water, no service after 20 min. Don't waste your time. Very disappointed in this location.
Update: I went back to BJs tonight May 6, I was swiftly seated and then the server got my drinks within 10 min. I ordered the gluten-free prime rib dip and I showed the server the picture of the menu item on the online menu to be sure she understood I needed the gluten free on the glutwn sensitive menu. I was first alarmed when she asked if I wanted croutons on my gluten free meal side salad?! I got the food and it did not look like the picture, the bun was spongy like a gluten roll and not round like the picture. It looked just like the gluten containing prime rib dip on the menu, I showed the server the menu picture again indicating gluten free she took it back and then I actually got the gluten free meal. At the end of the meal I was given a bill for a regular prime rib dip with added cost of the gluten free bun, I again discussed this with her and showed her the price wich was the same as the regular....she then just changed the bill to a regular prime rib dip. Not sure if I can trust the gluten sensitive options at this location...please be warned on this.
Delicious! Veggie & Gluten free menu.
They have a separate gluten free menu.
But you need to make sure to mention them you are ordering from there.
Because the names of the items are the same, so I thought I ordered a gluten free item but it came with bread. To their credit they did bring me out a new one without any gluten quickly.
The food is expensive, they do have bottomless fries, chips with your meal. Very noisy, busy, people bring kids and families. The wait staff are nice and helpful. The dinning areas need upgrades. The place is looking a bit worn down. I am gluten free, they make separate fries and have gluten free buns but we pay extra. I got the turkey burger, very good, their signature sauce is a bit spicy but good. They give plenty of dipping sauces. They clean the tables pretty well.

I had a little spare time on a work trip and popped into Atrium on the recommendation of a friend. I found the atmosphere delightful, the team was able to accommodate my dietary restrictions (gluten allergy and temporarily vegetarian) without hesitation, and my cocktails just about knocked my socks off. The staff was was friendly, and made sure I was taken care of, the food was tasty, and I found the appearance of the joint to be quite the delight.
Given the hopping neighborhood, I would absolutely recommend this as as a stop on a date night, but it’s also worth the trip on its own. Next time I can’t wait to try a few more cocktails next time I’m in town.
Update: I snuck over again for a meat based dish now they my meat restrictions have lifted and the staff absolutely accommodated my needs. Big thanks to the manager for working with the kitchen team to ensure my half chicken was prepared safely, the kitchen team for going out of their way to accommodate me, and bar team for making some tasty mocktails. Exactly what I needed after a weekend of wedding revelry.
Baja Cantina brings the Baja experience to life with vibrant music, flavorful food, and a laid-back atmosphere that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled into a beachside celebration. Located on the Venice side of Washington and established in 1975, this spot offers more than just a meal—it offers a whole vibe, especially on Saturday nights when live music electrifies the space.
From the start, things moved quickly with seating (only a one-minute wait), but the service afterward slowed down. Ordering took about 14 minutes, water didn’t arrive until the 24-minute mark, and food was served after 21 minutes. The staff, while knowledgeable and genuinely kind, seemed a bit overwhelmed. Only one check-in occurred between the delivery of water and food, leaving me wondering whether they were understaffed or simply overlooked a solo diner.
Despite the service hiccups, the food and atmosphere delivered. The complimentary handmade nachos were warm, crisp, and lightly seasoned, paired with a fresh salsa that hit all the right notes—lime, cilantro, onion, and just the right kick from Serrano peppers. Though the salsa wasn’t initially brought with the nachos, it was promptly delivered upon request.
The fish tacos had a great flavor profile but were a touch dry—perhaps a drizzle of crema or a bit more slaw would balance them out. On the other hand, the nachos I ordered were the real standout: layered perfectly with guacamole, sour cream, cilantro, and onions, they had the ideal mix of flavor and texture without going overboard.
The ambiance was a highlight. Baja Cantina’s clean, open layout paired with an eclectic and diverse crowd created an energetic and fun environment—definitely a spot that shines with a bit of company on a lively Saturday night. The prices were fair, the menu options were extensive, and it was great to see gluten-free options available.
Suggestions for Improvement:
• Improve wait times for basic service like water.
• Ensure staff checks in more consistently, even with solo diners.
• Consider adding a touch more moisture to the fish tacos to elevate their texture.
• Bring salsa automatically with nacho orders.
Overall, Baja Cantina is a place worth visiting if you’re in the mood for good food, great music, and a bit of a beachside groove. Just come with a little patience—or better yet, bring some good friends and enjoy the vibe together.
Celiac approved 🤞🏽
I love all their drinks, the vibe and good options.
We were lucky to find parking and enjoy a wonderful atmosphere with beautiful people everywhere plus a dj too.
Aguachile 🤌🏼
This spot is so iconic. Cocktails are divine, including some secret menu drinks. Quail eggs, burrata, oysters always on point, and Gluten free pasta options make my night!
Don’t sleep on dessert. The Eaton Mess is my forever favorite.
My wife and I stumbled upon this place while out for a walk and went in on a whim. Best. Gamble. Ever! We each got burgers & fries. Standard tavern fare right? Oh man were we blown away by how amazing it was! Not only were the burgers annaconda-unhinge-your-jaw big but the meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked. They were dripping in flavor and juices in all the right ways. Your napkin sits to the side, untouched, as you unabashedly tear into your meal with feral abandon. To stop and wipe your fingers is a waste of precious time when you could be taking your next bite, the food calls to you! My wife had a gluten free bun and usually those are a soggy, soupy mess before your burger is finished because it lacks the structure gluten provides. Whatever voodoo which doctor they had in the kitchen provided a bun that not only had good flavor and texture but it held well through the whole meal absorbing the glorious burger juices & flavor and holding strong through till the last bite. The fries were on point! Both the plain and truffle oiled fries! Perfect blend of crispy outside yet soft inside. Strong enough to hold up to the dipping sauces and not get soggy next to the burger. This place has ruined burgers for me. None will ever be able to compete with the perfection that was the meal served by The Tuning Fork's genius chef.

Cool shop with lots of screens - surprisingly diverse food menu, including gluten free pizza, Asian wings, and tasty drinks! My bartender Kaylee was helpful and friendly.
Everything was great. Food was delicious, service was a little slow but they are newer so probably still working things out. I am gluten free and they had both gluten free pasta and pizza dough which was incredibly fluffy and airy just like a normal pizza dough should be.
We had some time to kill before our flight back to the east coast, so we decided to check out The Proud Bird, near the airport. My husband had been here many years ago when it was just a restaurant, but the renovations done to provide a variety of food and drinks was similar to something we have in our home town. We weren't starving so we just ordered 2 pizzas to share, and they were delicious! I had a gluten free barbeque chicken pizza and I loved it! The playground was a perfect spot for our 6 year old and we all enjoyed walking around to see the planes on display. It was really neat every time I plane flew in too, as they were really close! Overall we had a great time here and would come back if we were in the area!
