Downstairs at Eric’s is my FAVORITE place in Breck. The food, the drinks, the vibe is always top notch!!! Billy and Tiff took such good care of us! Don’t miss this place when you come in town!! ALSO great for gluten free, vegetarian, and vegans! Salads are unreal!!

Beautiful dining room, incredible food, and amazing service including safe accommodations for celiac and other allergies. Bryan was new on staff but thorough and thoughtful in communicating with the kitchen staff to ensure all dietary restrictions were accounted for. Excellent, authentic Texas brisket bbq and the best wings I’ve ever had. Fantastic selection of bourbons. Super friendly staff and live music. What’s not to love? We actually went twice in one day and brought the kids out the next day. lol. I’m celiac and most of the items in the menu are gluten free. They actually have to indicate when it’s not gluten free. Awesome.

We had the best experience we could have asked for at Rootstalk. We went to celebrate our engagement the night I proposed and the whole team went above and beyond to make the night special. After making the reservation I worked with Liz to plan the big surprise dinner. She was very helpful and made sure the whole staff was aware of our big news and that we had the best seat in the house. The dinner was incredible!! From the moment we walked in we were swept off our feet with congratulations and excitement. Teddy came and personally congratulated us and provided a toast for our occasion. I might have remembered more names if our heads weren’t spinning from the excitement and attention the staff was giving us. The service was top notch. The tasting menu was stellar and so were the wine pairings. From the smoked sturgeon amuse-bouche to the sorbet with a special note for us, the entire meal only elevated the night. The chef and their team tailored the whole menu to accommodate a gluten intolerant diet and didn’t miss a beat. The roasted squash with black sesame tahini was particularly scrumptious (her words). As if all that weren’t enough Liz and the team at Rootstalk came through again when we emailed the next day to find out details about the toasting bubbles and meal that we wanted to remember. I’m so happy I chose to celebrate our engagement at Rootstalk and they will be a highlight from one of the most special nights of our lives. Thank you Rootstalk team!

My friend and I chose Twist for HH after a long day of hiking. It was an absolute treat and just what we needed! Our server was Charlie. His kindness and great service felt like a breath of fresh air compared to so many apathetic servers in the county. We ordered lamb chops, charcuterie and mussels ($5 off each for HH). Everything was delicious! They accommodated my gluten allergy with gf crackers for the charcuterie and items were clearly labeled as such on the menu. They even had multiple gf dessert options to choose from! The patio was lovely and the overall vibes of the place were relaxed and comfortable.

You are on a boat! If you know, you know. There are several options. There are even gluten-free options. The burgers were good, the Cubans (made your way, and it is not even burger king), and Nachos were great. The portions are large. The view of the mountains is great. The server/bartender was amazing and super friendly. They have Pepsi products (I recommend Dr Pepper or Root Beer) . Check it out and have some food on a boat.

What else can I say… the hype is real! This place absolutely deserves the amazing reviews. The ambiance was modern and comfortable, the service was so kind and accommodating, and the food was incredible. I am gluten free, our server was very helpful but the menu already had clearly marked gluten free options, and I couldn’t have been happier with my order! Butternut bisque and salmon were my highlights. This place should absolutely be at the top of your list in Breckenridge. Get a reservation in advance!

We had dinner at Hearthstone last night. Every detail was perfect. The food was so perfectly prepared. Our server Angie was so amazing and she put up with me giving her a hard time and we had a blast with her. She made it fun. I had the lamb and I would highly recommend it to anyone. It was hands down the best I’ve ever had. Beautiful and tasty. This place is also very gluten friendly with multiple options on the menu.
