Hi, I'm Argentinian and celiac. I recommend this place and its food to everyone in the community. It's very difficult to find gluten-free food without cross-contamination in Rio de Janeiro, and Sandubem was a real relief. We ordered some burgers for delivery, which were delicious, filling, and reasonably priced.
I was excited to try this place as it was gluten free and I am celiac, as well as it had good reviews. First we went and they said they were not serving people but only take out or delivery. So we said we wanted to put in an order for takeout. They said they would not take our order unless we downloaded the delivery app. We tried but because we don't have a Brazilian phone number we couldn't use the app. So they said we couldn't order. Thankfully one of the delivery boys was kind enough to let us use his phone and ask the owner to make an exception. The woman taking the order was extremely rude. Actually seemed angry and was not kind at all. The pizza itself was okay. I have had many gluten-free pizzas around the world and this was not a pizza. This was more like a flat wrap with different types of toppings. ⁰ there was no crispness to it, It folded, like a wrap. There was almost no cheese on it. There was no sauce on it and in fact they gave us ketchup, which I thought was strange at first , but now after having eaten it I understand why. Because without the ketchup there is very little taste. I don't live in Rio, so I will never go back. Even if I lived in Rio, I would not go back.
The chef and owner Daniel is a lovely person. He was very attentive to our requests for a large gluten-free dinner. He notified the kitchen in advance, and they prepared everything to avoid cross-contamination. The vegan acarajé was a huge hit! The waitress was also very friendly and always kept an eye on our table. Thank you very much Teva and Daniel team!
Very delicious. They have a vegan and gluten-free menu. Zazá served us very kindly. I recommend it for a delicious brunch in Ipanema. Good prices.

Great! My daughter has Celiac and everything here is GF. It’s amazing to walk in and tell her you can eat anything here! I had the quiche she had the filet. Excellent desserts too!
I came in by chance looking for a cup of coffee and I plan to go more often to try other options on the menu.
Efficient service, many options for eating and drinking, impeccable preparation and flavor. Beautiful, pleasant atmosphere and the excellent soundtrack caught my attention. Gluten-free options.

The place is very pleasant and the menu has good options for both vegetarian and vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free.
I ordered the dish that had a little bit of each item on the menu. It was worth it.
For starters, I had guacamole in a tortilla basket, which was also very good.
The prices were reasonable and worth it.

I ordered a coffee and a honey bread. They were great. Usually gluten and lactose free products don't taste very good. That didn't apply to what I tried there. I'll try other items next time. The facilities are very stylish, pleasant and comfortable. The service is perfect.
The food and drinks were excellent. At our table, there were gluten-free eaters, vegans, and vegetarians, and there was something for everyone. The menu was particularly noteworthy, with its abundant and high-quality options.
The service from the waitress who checked our bill at the end of our stay was terrible; she wasn't the same one who served us throughout the evening. The people who delivered our plates and drinks were fine, but the waitress who checked our bill at the end was disappointing. She made us feel really bad, a truly unpleasant moment. She didn't answer our questions, looked around when we spoke to her, and responded rudely, a complete lack of respect. We felt terrible about her service. We left feeling really bad.

Who would have thought tapioca crepes would be so delicious!! We had one with brie, nuts and honey and another with goats cheese, sundried tomatoes and rocket - both were incredibly delicious. They are a good size for a snack and the tapioca makes for a light outer layer. Didn’t finish it feeling heavy. Added bonus that tapioca is naturally gluten free.
Didn’t try their acaí bowls but they looked good! The spot is very small, maybe 4-5 tables only.
Service is excellent, super tasty gluten-free quiches are served with salad. Varied desserts and diets.
The environment is beautiful, “instagramable”, clean and the service is impeccable! I recommend.
Wonderful service, super attentive owner. Finally a restaurant that embraces the difficulty faced by celiacs in finding a safe place to eat. A thousand notes!! Not to mention the wonderful frozen foods!

It's an excellent option for those who like tapioca or for those who want to have a gluten-free snack. I highlight the pink tapioca hydrated in beetroot water. Be careful with the pastes, as they may have strong seasoning, typical of the northeast. There could be green tapioca on the menu... Try it!
The sushi is very delicious, with excellent quality in each piece. 🥢 They adapted everything to the gluten-free order and also made some changes to the pieces as requested, which was greatly appreciated. 🌾👌

Domênico and João provided us with unparalleled service. Wonderful dishes, excellent wines… Informal atmosphere. It’s great for enjoying with friends… Note: the limoncello is one of the best!!!
Ting offers something that you don't see in the region, gluten-free snacks, vegan snacks, vegetarian snacks, etc. The snack is super tasty and gluten and lactose-free, there are varieties of pizzas and other wonderful snacks!

Brilliant place with Gluten Free beer amongst their vast collection of local crafts! They have lots of GF options on the menu and the owner Patricio is knowledgeable and confident on his understanding of the allergy. My wife is coeliac and we went 3 times on our trip to Rio. Awesome.
We went for dinner, for an extra +6 reais they offer you gluten-free spagetti, I ordered with mushroom sauce Exquisite!! We also ordered with salmon sauce and it was very delicious. The incredible attention, they knew about celiac disease which leaves a lot of peace of mind. The place is calm, a very nice atmosphere. Abundant and very tasty dishes, good price. I would return without a doubt!
They really made an effort serving (separately prepared) food (meat, French fries, rice) that was Dairy, Eggs and Gluten free…

Good restaurant, mainly because it has a gluten-free and lactose-free option on the same dish. Excellent attitude, given that the number of people with dietary restrictions is increasing.
The atmosphere is excellent when empty, but when it gets full, the conversations from the neighboring tables become noisy, somewhat disrupting the experience.
