Went to this place for brunch for the first time and had 3 amazing things to note. 1) the coconut chai was to die for and I would return just for that drink alone. 2) the vegan eggs Benedict on falafel was so perfectly savoury and delicious, as someone eating vegan and gluten free, I haven’t had something that covers my dietary restrictions taste so good in a long time. 3) the portion sizes!!! The quesadilla my family had was enormous, the side salads were huge! Amazing to have leftovers for later and even though we ate a lot, we didn’t feel gross after (which we often do with other places) because the ingredients were so clean. The staff were so kind and the restaurant gives cute earthy vibes. Hands down will be going back! (Wish we got photos to share!)
Emily was incredibly kind and attentive! She made sure my food was completely safe for my celiac disease and double-checked everything with care. I really appreciated her support and attention to detail.
I highly recommend this succulent little brunch spot! Lena, our server was a doll! And looked after us superbly!. I am celiac myself, it’s always nice to find a spot that can cater to someone with severe allergies/sensitivities to food.
Had the gluten free waffle and bacon and both were great. The waffle was an especially nice treat and was crunchy and soft and flavourful. I forgot to ask if the buckwheat pancakes were gluten-free but they looked good, maybe I'll try them next time.
Love coming here for brunch. Super decadent and always great service. Also my gluten sensitive mom loves the gluten free bread option and also we appreciate the alberta farm fresh eggs.
This place is so cute, and pretty large. Service was great, we went there for a bachelorette dinner. Make a reservation though if it’s a weekend or stampede season! Bathrooms are in the basement so not sure how accessible they are.
Food was great, slightly pricey but there’s a good reason. Our bride to be received a free glass of champagne. Our server was lovely, not pushy or rushing us.
It was really loud in there, mainly due to stampede and weekend, but it was also very busy. Patio is open in the summer.
Allergy friendly to celiacs and peanut/tree nuts!
Great place to go for brunch. Great selection of food and great service. Staff is very knowledgeable about allergy and dietary restrictions thus makes it very reassuring to eat for anyone who has celiac, etc. Highly recommend souffléd pancakes for anyone who is gf to try, AMAZING.
Amazing food, great atmosphere, and fabulous service. We had a pre-set menu with a large group, which was perfect. Unbelievable turkey, brisket, and our gluten-free diners have never had better gravy (they lucked their plates!)We can’t wait to come back again with our team next month!
Excellent service, I had the gluten free waffles and fried chicken.. they were fantastic.. portions are decent sized and made me full.. definitely recommend this spot..
The best service in downtown Calgary by far, our server Mariem (Mariam?) was super helpful and super kind. She accommodated all our requests as my fiancé can only eat gluten free and his sister is vegetarian. She provided us with all the appropriate menu options and made sure that there was no cross contamination with the meals. She really exceeded our expectations and I've never met a server so accommodating to all our dietary restrictions.
Went for the weekend brunch several times. Smaller selection but higher quality and more innovative. You can also order customized bennies for vegetarian or gluten free needs. Recommended. Downgraded from 5 star to 4 star - food no longer as good and price is high.
This location is arguably the best of the "Blocks". Excellent barbecue as always, huge whiskey selection, great cocktails. What's not to love?
Many gluten free options too! All the BBQ meats are GF and many of the sides are as well. The menu isn't marked, but the servers are informed or will check with the kitchen.
My favooooouriteeeeee coffee shop in all of Calgary. Coziest place and best for working. It’s like my hidden gem 🥹✨ love their gluten free granola bars so much!!! I get one each week
Not safe for anyone with allergies, especially celiac where all grains can cause an immune response in advanced cases.
I asked the guy working there if the GF bun had rice in it and he was fully confident it didn’t. I shouldn’t have trusted him.
We will never be going back here. Horrible business. Why not just be honest? I would have happily had the lettuce wrap to save myself all of the pain and internal break down of my system.
OMG! So good. I have walked past this place hundreds of times and finally had breakfast there on Easter Sunday. Everything was fantastic: the server brought us coffee outside while we waited, wow. Inside it's such an authentic old diner with seating at the bar and a few booths. So cool. The chefs cook the food right in front of your eyes, it was fascinating to watch them work so hard. And the food itself is sublime! What an experience. One thing to note: due to them having 1 smallish grill I can't imagine they can cater to vegans or gluten intolerant people.
I got The Quickie with a gluten free bun + add tomato. Was around 13$. This sandwich was HUGE.. the eggs were cooked well and fluffy could have used a little salt and maybe some pepper, the bun needed to be toasted more, but was delicious. The sauce was good and the cheese was perfectly melty. Would try some others in the future! Also came with a free chocolate chip cookie (not GF, but I gave it to my coworker)

Went to this place with a friend specifically for gluten free drinks and food they advertised. After pointing to every gf tagged item on the menu and told "no sorry that can't be made gluten free" we paid our bill and left.
Great little breakfast spot In a diner/ collective market. Very cute and perfect for dairy and gluten free ppl like myself. The name brought me in. I love a good pun
