Fantastic donuts and a great atmosphere. I really appreciate that they have vegan and gluten free options, which makes it easy to cover a wide variety of dietary restrictions.
Pricey but delicious, generously sized pancakes and friendly service. The menu offers a great variety, including gluten-free options, making it suitable for many dietary needs. The atmosphere is cozy and family-friendly, perfect for a relaxed breakfast or brunch.

Good gluten free options. Avoid the "Vegan nutella" -it gives me soar belly every time (even though they insist it is gluten free. I think nobody asks for it so it goes bad in the bottle.
My favorite "mom+pop" place for a drink and a snack or meal.
So grateful for the dairy free/gluten free options. The food is so delicious and fresh and the atmosphere is quaint and inviting. I recommend the Dandelion blend and a coconut date square (made with spelt flour)or a fluffy, gluten free muffin!
My Mom and I tried this place for the first time tonight and were very impressed, between the food, the service and the place in general! Also we loved that the Gluten Free menu (which I needed since I have Celiac) was a separate menu with FOUR pages!!! This and the care they mentioned taking to make sure my food was safe was appreciated!!! We will definitely be returning and I'm so thankful a coworker recommended Maxime's!!!
There are plenty of unique and delicious options, even gluten free doughnuts for those who have the requirement!
Just one little issue, and it's just my opinion;
The doughnuts are a tad over-the-top with the filling (or dusting, depending on your pick)
Couple of examples... the Imperial Cookie doughnut. Delicious and unique, only problem is there is SO much jam filling that you can't really taste anything else.
Or the Everything doughnut. A tasty savory doughnut version of an Everything bagel... except there's SO much salt on it, it's difficult to taste the other flavors. Infact, I had the Everything doughnut twice because I prefer savory but I actually felt a little sick the second time from the salt.
But that's it. Honestly, very good treats. High quality and unique. Staff are always awesome and friendly and the place is very clean.
Had their heartbeet bowl for a gluten-free option. It was delicious and gorgeous to look at before digging in. It looked so good I was interrupted 3 times early in my meal to be asked what I had ordered, it looked so appetizing. Staff was cool and accommodating to my questions about gluten-free options.
Love Pineridge Hollow. Their food is delicious and servers are happy and helpful. Delicious gluten free pickerel and fries. You can walk through the interesting shops. There are so many things going on. Highly recommend you go and also check their website.
Food and service were amazing. We had the pulled pork routine. It was one of the best pouting we've had. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area. Lots of gluten free options.
we really enjoyed the patio, very quick service. love that they have an enclosed portion of the patio, and a fully outdoor side. our food was great, gluten free petite steak and fries was great. good happy hour menu as well! our server was very knowledgeable on gluten free items and was accomodating.
we ordered breakfast for our valentines date and somewhere between Doordash and the cafe, our order was missing and we had to call them to figure it out, and then pick up the food ourselves an hour-ish later than we’d originally planned for. the server was so kind and apologetic about the mixup and didn’t charge me for the food when i finally picked it up! we appreciated that so so much, and we still had an excellent valentines breakfast!
we ordered the pumpkin french toast, which was conveniently gluten friendly, and it was genuinely the best breakfast i’ve ever had from a restaurant. the pumpkin loaf was incredibly moist and flavourful, and the cinnamon butter and whipped cream were the perfect toppings.
we were really happy with the portions as well, since the three slices were rich and dense and very filling. we will absolutely be getting this again!
Unfortunately, our experience went horribly wrong.
We went on the weekend for brunch, and we asked the waiter if a specific item was gluten-free or not. She was not sure, and she went to ask the manager, and they assured us that it was gluten-free. So we ate, and all was good at that point. we paid and left.
5 minutes after we left ate, allergic reactions started. And we felt bad for 3 days after that. It was horrible that they didn't even care if the food is cross contaminated or not.
I do not recommend this place if you have food allergies. They don't know how to handle food in the kitchen.
Beautiful restaurant in a great area. Our server Thor was incredibly resourceful and on top of things. I had the arugula burrata salad, and it was not my favourite thing I’ve ever had. I really did not enjoy the tomatoes in it, maybe I had a bad batch but they were so mushy, way too salty, and tasted rancid. I had to pick them all out they were terrible. I really enjoyed the burrata especially with the gluten free toast. It looked better than the baguette it is supposed to come with, and it was very crunchy. The rest of the salad was okay, but I couldn’t get past the tomatoes.
The food, customer service and atmosphere all were at their best during our time.
They offered vegetarian, non vegetarian, Gluten Free and Vegan Free menu.

"Suman"at the reception counter, our specific dietary requests got adjusted. She also ensured time to time if we needed anything in between our orders or how twas the food tasted or if we need different food option if not satisfied with the ordered one.She was truly tremendous at doing her job.
Overall it's worth spending the money when you're looking for a quality Indian food in the town.
Great place. Loved the atmosphere and food. I really like the set menu style and they were able to accommodate for gluten free. Our server Adam was very courteous and attentive. Thanks again!
Nancy D is an amazing server. Any questions we had she was able to answer or ask the kitchen to ensure our meal was fully considerate for gluten free(celiac disease). We had the build your own grand slam and Santa Fe skillet, both were delicious! Overall an awesome experience and we will definitely be returning soon.
Today I ordered the house salad with the roasted red pepper soup. The soup was delicious and so was the salad that was brought out. As I was eating my friend pointed out that it was actually a caesar salad. Once I brought this to the waitress attention she was more than happy to swap out the correct salad. Normally I would not say anything and just continue to enjoy the food I am eating but I was already having a bad day and I decided I desreved what I ordered. Boy was I happy to have made this choice, the dressing was amazing and I will definitely order the house salad again. I also got a chocolate torte to go because it is the most delicious moist gluten-free thing I've eaten. If you have not tried this before, do! Or try the carrot cake because it's also amazing.
Love this place so much! Service is amazing, they really care about the customers. Food is great and they have good gluten free options and substitutions. One of my favourite brunch spots!
My cousin is gluten intolerant and our server, 1049 Bayliegh, was extremely careful, knowledgeable and patient. She checked out every entree my cousin was considering. The result was an enjoyable and safe lunch. We were very impressed.
Reckless, incompetent, and downright dangerous.
We gave this place two chances—and both times, they made my wife sick. She’s celiac and clearly told them three times about her allergy. She even ordered from their so-called “gluten-free” menu. What did they serve? Two identical sandwiches—same bread, no labels, no care. When I asked the waitress which one was gluten-free, she just stared blankly. That’s not just negligent—it’s irresponsible. This isn’t a joke. People like my wife end up in the hospital because of careless kitchens like this. If you value your health or basic competence in food service, avoid this place at all costs.
Had a wonderful experience. I ordered something that wasn’t posted on the menu as I have a gluten allergy and they were very accommodating and everything I ate was amazing!! Chef has skills. Thank you :)
Food was amazing and I loved the atmosphere of this place! I saw they also had gluten free and vegan options for their pancakes and waffles so I am very excited to go back to try those. My server was unfortunately not good at all but another server, Kori, was phenomenal and went out of his way to repair the experience and the manager/owner was very nice and open to listening and apologetic about the situation. I am excited to try it again next time I am back in Winnipeg!
Amazing place, and they even have a gluten-free menu. The food is wonderful, and I would recommend the poached eggs. The only thing I have noticed is that their serving sizes have been shrinking over the years but still amazing.
We recently had Feast cater a lunch for my son’s funeral. We had sandwiches, wraps, dainties, veggie trays and fruit trays. They ensured our gluten free and vegan family were well taken care of. The variety, quality and quantity of the food was outstanding. Ordering and paying was all done electronically. Great bang for your buck!
Interesting menu, good food, good range of gluten free options. What's not to like?
I had the Bull Burger and the Butternut Squash Soup - sooo good :-)
Incredible cinnamon rolls! Cream cheese frosting is my favourite, but don’t sleep on the maple!!!
Great gluten friendly options as well!

I haven't been to Jonesy's in years, but it was still the great place I remember.
The food and service were great. They have many gluten friendly options.
We sat in the lounge, and it was comfortable and inviting.
I will keep going back.
The only problem is parking, there is not enough because it is always busy. Even on a Tuesday night, it was packed.
Oh dear. Well. We came for coffee and desert but decided to grab a pizza too as I missed supper and my partner was moderately hungry too. Ordered the Funghi pizza. It was an excruciatingly long wait. 40 minutes? Mostly empty restaurant? So I’m not sure why. And when I tell you I was starving! So this pizza arrives and it’s very unattractive looking… like it’s as if a bag of arugula was just emptied on it blindly and everything else is just white. If this thing was near a wood fire there’s nothing to show that, no golden edge, no crispy crust, nothing. But okay. Shouldn’t judge by looks right?
Absolutely nothing could prepare me for the degree that this thing was such a disgusting, soppy, dripping mess. An actual pool of water? Mushroom juice? Under the crust, which is not a crust but a wet, slimy layer of gluten. Absolutely horrific. But I’m starving. This took FOREVER. So I eat a bite. The boccocini cheese is thickesh and chewy and it’s not hot - not helping the mushy “crust”. Just picture chewing wet dough? With congealed cheese? The bacon looked like that ultra thin kind you put in the microwave. Like see-thru bacon. Which is fine! I don’t care! I am STARVING ! But when I went to slice it … it pulled apart like the dough- flaccid, gooey, no crisp or desire to act like bacon at all, I have never seen bacon do that after being cooked. It acted more like how raw bacon would pull apart? I couldn’t take it. I got an urge to gag so I had to leave the resto for a minute. I actually started tearing up as I was so hungry and this was supposed to be a special date for a tired mom and dad and we won’t get another chance for a while. My partner was so hungry he ate most of it anyway and said he felt sick. I would have ordered more food but I couldn’t handle the idea of waiting another 40 minutes. And my stomach was turning. It is midnight as I write this and I still haven’t eaten because I wanna gag still.
We got gelato (excellent) and two caramel macchiatos. The coffee was insanely bitter for the first ten minutes, like a shot of pure espresso?, but we tapered it with the gelato. I almost got used to it, but we got to the second half of it, and it was near pure caramel syrup and cream with no coffee flavour at all. That bottom half was undrinkable for both of us. We saved them as syrup to add to coffee for the next few days. So I figure it just didn’t get mixed? And that it actually was the pure espresso sitting on top?
Service gets lower stars because our server disappeared after delivering the meal - ended her shift but never checked in with us which should take place 1-2 minutes after dropping food. A second server arrived well past the point I could have even ordered anything else anyway (my partner ate 7 out of 8 slices before she ever came by to ask how it was and no I didn’t tell her the truth, I just didn’t say anything, and she looked exhausted, unhappy and stone-faced, was training an employee, and I didn’t want to add to whatever was wrong there).
Atmosphere gets three stars because it was Saturday night and the fireplace was not lit inside (why have it then?) and it was freezing in there, no candles on the table or anything (flowers? Are they hard to find?).
And it’s obviously just a whatever but there are plastic shrubs along the window seats which, well, are real plants hard to find? Why have a window into a greenhouse and put lawn chairs and plastic shrubs along it? Felt a bit like eating soggy bread after the sprinkler ran on it for an hour in the discount garden section of a Canadian Tire?
People around here don’t have many options. But if you have to choose a place to spend your money and time in this one horse town, you might have a mediocre meal here, or one of the actual worst food experiences of your life.
You might leave and be unable to eat or even see a mushroom pizza for a long, long, long time without wanting to gag.
Do you really want to take that risk with your special date night? No. Go to Irori, or the Indian Spice Club, or Winnipeg.
Had a great gluten-free chicken burger with a garden salad. Was not your usual dressing on the salad, something different, that made it so much better than just a side salad. Service was also top notch, understood my allergies, and took care of my needs. Will go again.
I was visiting with some friends and this restaurant was highly recommended to us and it did not disappoint! Great service and delicious food. They don’t list gluten free bread as an option on their menu but they do have it! I had the Turkish eggs and it was phenomenal. They don’t take reservations but we got there right at 9am and was able to get seated right away. Otherwise be prepared for a long wait.
Super excited to find a non chain restaurant with a dedicated gluten free section in the menu. Food was good, decent price. Parking available for big rigs is super nice as well.
I visited Copper Chimney at Regent avenue for the first time and it did NOT disappoint. I came here from U.S. The food, service, atmosphere and parking space all get five stars. I came here on the night of 31st and it was busy BUT the service was still great! Ms. Sneh was extremely kind and her service was amazing. Even on the busy night of 31st, she was calm and kept asking if we needed anything which was really polite of her! She was amazing and the other staff were polite too. The food tasted good and fresh! There were vegan and gluten free options too. The only problem was that they don’t give the detailed bill with item names written on it. It was a good experience overall.
Order a gluten-free bun on Bourbon with bacon burger it was good but not too sure if it was the bun or the meat had a bit of freezer-burn taste as I got closer to the one side end of my burger. Flavors were there and had a lot of bacon.👌🏼Shredded Hash Browns I thought were cube hash browns. It was shredded hash browns could have been a bit more shredded potatoes and with some onions added to it as flavors they came plain with nothing. My friend ordered an omelet with Hash Browns and he enjoyed his order. Both meals were a good deal price.
Stopped in on the weekend and what a gem of a stop! A great family place, great food, with Gluten Free options as well! The ice cream was delicious. They have a beautiful mini golf course! The mini golf course is the nicest, beautifully maintained, clean and wonderful themed course you will find!
Plenty of parking for a camper/trailer if you're pulling one. Lots of green space if you want to picnic and plenty of patio table seating as well.
Great place to stop in or plan an outing with family.
Friendly helpful staff!
PS : the bathrooms are clean, roomy and easy access for all!
