Im visiting my family from out of town, had an amazing experience at this location! Both my mom and I are extremely symptomatic celiac. Our server, Anita took such care to ensure that all our concerns were very clearly addressed and the manger even came over to check in on us and gave us extra treats. I’ve never been so confident and felt so comfortable and safe eating out before. Will definitely return again next time I visit. Thank you so much!

Loved this place! Such a fun treat. It’s like my two favorite worlds collided in this modern and charming little place. Flights and cupcakes…such a great idea. Our server gave us a thorough description of each glass and each cupcake. All flavors were excellent. (There are thoughtful diet and taste considerations like gluten free cupcakes and beer on draft.) I will be going back!
Not a crumb left behind. I will most certainly be back. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak with garlic Parmesan fries which is included with the entree. Everything looked so good that I went back and ordered a blueberry lemon scone and earl grey tea. Everything here is vegan and the sandwiches are gluten free. Great price for the quality.
To sum up this place: it's an upscale cafeteria. And in this instance, that’s a good thing. They serve quality food in a non-pretentious, yet slightly pretentious way. What do I mean? Let me break it down.
For starters, you seat yourself in a dining environment that offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor dining area is lined with large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The chairs and tables are slightly upscale, with wood accents, as opposed to the plastic seating you’d find in a traditional cafeteria. The outdoor patio mimics the indoors, with plenty of gas warmers and a modern-style accent fireplace wall. Again, not pretentious, but pretentious.
The food menu is what you’d expect from any slightly upscale dining spot. The options are large and plentiful, but not so much so that it’s overwhelming (aka The Cheesecake Factory). Items like chorizo queso, lobster tostada, and truffle mac & cheese make up the appetizers (they call them "Beginnings" here). Blackened redfish, beef & lamb bolognese, and fried chicken & waffles are just a few of the "Kitchen Plates." They stick with the cafeteria theme in concept, but the offerings could just as easily be found on a fine dining menu in an upscale restaurant. Add a full wine menu, craft beers, specialty burgers with a gluten-free bread option, and you start to really understand this place.
I had the build-your-own plate option, which included black pepper salmon with chipotle butter, steamed broccoli, and a mixed greens side salad splashed with what I assumed was balsamic vinaigrette dressing. A Shiner Blonde Light from the ice trough topped it off nicely.
My take: I would definitely go back. We went for lunch, but I'm eager to try the breakfast offerings. This is the place you go when you're in your daytime best casualwear, want to grab some great food, and still catch a good buzz. No waiters constantly asking if you need anything. Just an eclectic crowd of both business folks working on laptops and suburban Houstonians enjoying their day in The Woodlands.
The food and service here was awesome. Coming from San Diego Coastal area we had many choices for dining on awesome fish. Here the choices are limited but Truluck's doesn't disappoint. The only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is that I have to eat gluten free and while they have many gluten-free selections on the menu there is no gluten-free desert. Seems silly but if you want to celebrate you want the full experience. It would be so easy to have one. Most even average restaurants do.
Heard they had gluten free crepes and was intrigued as someone with Celiac. I struggled to decide which option I wanted, and ultimately got the crème brûlée crepes. It was so good. Chock full of custard and sliced fresh strawberries, with crunchy caramelized sugar on the top to complete the crème brûlée vibes. Absolutely delicious, and I wish there was a location closer to where I live, though it’s probably good for my waist line that it’s too far of a drive to eat here regularly
I had good but not a great coffee yet but they have some of the best gluten free pastries I have ever had. The olive oil cake and the blueberry lavender muffin. So yum. 😋
We stopped by here one afternoon to simply check this place out and grab some tea. I left with a lot more than just tea. This place is superb! The atmosphere, the staff, the quality of the coffees & teas are unlike anything I’ve found in and around this area. For example: we got 2 different pour-over teas (they take 6 minutes to properly brew and it was worth every moment of the wait), one was a rose lavender honey green tea that was mind blowing it was so good. I can’t recall my husbands but it was amazing too! But I also rounded the corner and ran face-first into a display full of amazing desserts, pastries, kolaches…I left with a slice of vanilla bean lavender double layer cake that was so unique and exquisite that I can still taste it. I also got a lemon blueberry crumble (gluten free) bar, and a jalapeño sausage and cheese kolache that was wrapped in a buttery, croissant-style dough that was soooooooo good. It was allllllll sooooo good. But the ambience in this place is like very few “coffee-tea shops”. This is somewhere you can take someone that you wanna impress - it’s just so special and beautiful. I can’t wait to take some of my favorite people here.
SUCH A HIDDEN GEM! Favorite coffee shop in The Woodlands area. It's tucked away in a cute shopping center behind some giant trees. Everything is good here. Coffee is the best in The Woodlands imo. Matcha are also so good. They also have some gluten free options. I got the gluten free chocolate chip cookie, and it was sooo good. The staff is so welcoming and extremely nice. Anyways, just go try it. You won't be disappointed!

Beautifully crisp, caramelized pastry. The baked goods are HUGE. Levure offers a delightful selection of viennese pastries and western classics. The sugar free gluten-free churro muffin was surprisingly delicious and the kouign amann was to die for!!
I also recommend the almond croissant.
Really love going to this place. It's one of the few places I know I can eat at, and not have issues. (I have food intolerances, so I have to be picky). I will say this, though, it would be really awesome if they had gluten-free buns and not just the protein option. But other than that I really like their food and it's very affordable.
I immediately liked seeing the vegan and gluten free options on the menu, I lean towards and love these places that are concerned with fusing their cuisine and offering variety for each different taste, each dish that I decided to try was loaded with flavors and good portions, it gives It's a pleasure to pay for a visit to a place that knows how to serve demanding palates well.
Excellent local restaurant and delicious food. Lots of gluten free options as well. Everything we’ve tried is wonderful and the owner and staff are super friendly and great (our favs are Roberto and Leah!). We come nearly every week because we love it. Highly recommend!

Edited to respond to the business: I have eaten blueberry muffins and scones and am fully aware how they looked baked. The spots I saw were not blueberry specks! They were MOLD specks! The response has shirked responsibility and implies that it was my error! Shame!
I WAS GIVEN 2 MOLD INFESTED scones! Here’s what happened: I ordered 2 gluten free scones yesterday 3/12. I ate one last night and realized it tasted funny but didn’t think anything more of it. After a while I began to feel nauseous but I eventually recovered. I wasn’t sure if it was the scone or something else I ate. Today I bit into the second scone and it had a weird taste. I cut into it and I see BLACk MOLD SPOTS INSIDE the scone!!! TOTALLY DISGUSTED!! VILE! It is obvious the baked goods are not being stored properly or they are allowing expired food to be sold! Shameful! What else is being served that is not up to code? Trust completely broken! I will never order from here again and I will discourage my friends from visiting this establishment! Shame!
