They are not careful when it comes to correctly labeling and preparing for dietary needs. I have Celiacs Disease and due to them giving me a regular bagel with the written label of a "gluten free" I'm now experiencing agonizing symptoms. Luckily I won't die, but if you have any allergies DO NOT GO TO THIS REMEDY. Could you imagine if it was a nut allergy?! Do better.
I really enjoyed it here. Delicious gluten free pita and hummus. Yum.
Staff was friendly and the vibe is relaxed. (Maybe slightly too relaxed?)
Anyhow great place for a gf lunch
We bought lunch here for my work crew, because one of them is celiac and I've heard good reviews about these guys and their sensitivity to gluten sensitive people. Paulina was fantastic to deal with. The food was delicious. I highly recommend. Sooooo tasty!
OEB Kitchen & Bar at Edmonton airport had gluten free options for breakfast. I had the traditional Benny with gluten free English muffin and canadian bacon. It was cooked right soft poached. I was not a big fan of the hollandaise but the overall dish was good. I was not confident it was gluten free due to the server bringing the food out and not identifying which meal was the gluten free. I had to ask. Prices quite high.$25 per person for breakfast is not something I will do again. I did not have steak and eggs 🤨
Celiac safe! Exceptional food paired with excellent service and wonderful atmosphere. One of their wait staff has Celiac, so this is a beyond pleasurable experience. Majority of their menu can be adapted for truly gluten free dining without sacrificing the quality or unique pairings of flavours. Highly recommended!
We were very looking forward to go and unfortunately it was not what we expected.
The food took a long time to arrived, 45 mins or so without getting any updates from anyone until we asked. People who arrived after us got served before us.
I ordered gluten free food and received tortillas with gluten. Thank goodness that I confirmed before started eating that’s when they realized the mistake.
And the food was flavourless, and the beef had a lot of fat :(
Unique eggs benedict on a gluten free vegetable fritter lightened with mint and greens. I really enjoyed how this combination allowed me to feel indulgent and yet not weighed down.
The atmosphere is certainly more upscale which can be great for a fancier brunch, but would be even better for an evening out.
Service was excellent. Staff was well educated about dietary restrictions, menu options, and willing to ask the kitchen for any clarification required.
There were only a handful of veg/GF options including the veg fritter egg benny and shakshouka, but if you’re happy with limited menu options, you’ll be satisfied with the excellent quality of food and unique flavours.
Given that this place opened up under a new name only recently, it’s a great spot to try something new in Edmonton if you’re looking to change it up - a rare occurrence for celiacs in the city.
I only really care about ambience and quality espresso coffee. Great European feel, and the best espresso I’ve had visiting Edmonton. I’ve been at least every second day while I’m here. I don’t eat sugar or gluten so haven’t eaten anything here.
The AC is set too cold. So I recommend taking your visit outdoors to their patio.
My experience here today was exceptional. The bartender, who served us at our table, Sawyer, and another server were extremely helpful, educated (I’m vegan and gluten free), and easy to interact with. The food came out perfectly and the staff “checked” in regularly to see if we needed anything else. 10/10 for food/staff/service!
