Very disappointed ! My wife is a celiac so was really keen to try this restaurant which is nearly an hour's drive away. The service was very slow, we were charged for alioli which never arrived and catching the attention of staff was a nightmare. We ordered calamar as a main course and it was probably the worst I've ever had. It was massively overcooked, some bits tasted like burnt toast and we left about a third of it. It also cost about 50% more than restaurants nearer home.
Well we have been there three times and all from Díez 👌☺️ the service is great, the staff are lovely, friendly, close, speechless 🥰 the food is delicious, we ordered fried fish and everything is fresh that day, we are delicious, the croquettes are the best and everything is GLUTEN FREE as they are specialists in it, the service is very fast. NOTE: YOU CANNOT COME TO BENALMÁDENA AND NOT PASS THROUGH HERE, also gluten free option
The food was good; we had the Iberico skewer and lamb chops. The lamb chop portion was rather small. Gluten-free options are available. The wait for the food to be served was rather long. We would come again.
I ate a great tropical smoothie bowl and drank a delicious almond milk Matcha latte. Highly recommended.
The prices in my opinion are justified by the offer: vegan/gluten free/sugar free
Great variety of sandwiches and all exquisite.
My boyfriend is celiac and we always have breakfast here with great peace of mind since they have a separate kitchen and know a lot about it. They also have several types of gluten-free breads to choose from. I wish there were more cafes like this.
From the moment you walk in, you feel transported to Italy. The decor is elegant and welcoming, and the ambient music perfectly complements the experience. The wood-fired pizzas have a crispy and flavorful crust, and the pasta is cooked al dente, just as it should be. They also offer gluten-free options, which is a great touch for those who need it.
We had dinner here tonight and it was delicious. I have a gluten allergy, but the chef made us a gluten-free version of the fried calamari. It had been quite a while since I was able to have fried calamari, so it really hit the spot. I had the fish kebab which was perfectly cooked. The fish was tender and flaky. The sangria had a touch of cinnamon, which set it apart from other local sangrias we have tried. The staff was attentive, without hovering. We were pleasantly surprised by an after dinner limoncello on the house. I make my own limoncello at home, so this was the perfect treat for the end of the meal. Muchos Gracias!
A must go to when in Nerja! Great service, delicious homemade cakes and lots of options that I'll need to try at a later date.. so great for gluten free options too😊
We came here despite the poor opinions on Google because we had heard they served gluten free pizza and they were open during the lunch hour.
Well, we are definitely not coming here again and I strongly discourage others to do so. We waited long time time to be served, the waiters overall weren't very nice and they charged me extra for switching one meat topping for another. In most places it's free.
But the worst thing that happened was that even though I stated I have celiac disease and I required gluten free pizza, they mistakenly served me the regular one. If I hadn't asked the waiter to double check, I would have got very sick.
The gluten free pizza that eventually arrived was also one of the worst ones I've had, it cost almost 20 euro and it was store bought.
If you feel like having a gluten free pizza, you should definitely try other places in town.
Very nice place. We ate burgers. Me gluten free. Everything is delicious. The service was friendly, not intrusive. The portions were very large. I recommend it :) ps. This bitten burger is gluten free - I couldn't resist ;)
Excellent place to eat. Recommended through the Hotel we stayed at. Food was excellent and at a reasonable price. Really flood Gluten-free options. The staff catered for my wife who is coeliac and even adjusted items on the menu to be Coeliac friendly.
Good food in an unbeatable location. On the beach. Very good food, both pastas and pizzas (made in the oven that they have visible there) there are gluten-free options. Highly recommended site
We went on Mother's Day and despite being packed to the rafters, they treated us very well. The location is ideal, after eating you take a walk along the promenade and it's great. For me the most important thing is that they offer gluten-free fried fish and being able to eat some calamari or fried calamari is priceless. Thanks for keeping the gluten free options. Suggestion: some dessert other than fruit without wheat or dairy
I ate edamame and had another one, hahaha, with my gluten-free beer. I'd rather have the beer colder, but everything was really delicious. Cristina served me; it's truly a luxury to be served like that.
The best thing is that we ask for GLUTEN FREE dishes, and they advise you. We had a wonderful meal at this Indian restaurant. Flavorful dishes such as the chef's chicken tikka masala and lamb curry, accompanied by delicious naan. The service was excellent and the atmosphere very welcoming. We will repeat without a doubt!
Great paella (which is Gluten free/sin gluten) and fish (bacalao) dishes. Large servings! The staff were friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.
Great restaurant on the marina. The staff were lovely and even bought out a birthday cake for my partner unprompted. The food was nice, not the best smokehouse I’ve been too but they also have a lot of gluten free options which is refreshing.
Nice restaurant to go to after doing some shopping, food is okay, I recommend que quesadillas and the miso bacalao, also good for celiacs. Do NOT order de chicken and avocado salad.
Awful experience. We sat down and immediately got asked what we wanted to drink so we asked for some time. Took forever for him to come back and then we ordered drinks. Some lady came out to put bread out but we said we don’t do gluten so she took it back. Then the air con dripped water right in the middle of our table onto the menu so we moved to one of many empty tables. Another waiter tried to start our order but we told him we moved due to dripping and already ordered drinks. He acted nasty and rude for no reason. Then finally our drinks came. After that, forget trying to get anyone’s attention. We just got to the point of getting our check and leaving, at which point someone brought out packaged gluten free crackers no one asked for. They almost tried to charge us for those. Why do people queue up for this place with awful service?
The pizzas are very delicious and it shows that they use good products.
They have the option of GLUTEN FREE pizzas and although the dough was not super, when combined with excellent ingredients, they taste very delicious.
The only complaint is that by having gluten-free pizzas, I don't understand why they don't have something so simple, which is having some bottles of gluten-free beer...
The service was very good and they have a GREAT and endless variety of tastes.
Cozy, beautiful place, exquisite food and excellent treatment from Nacho, very attentive and friendly.
I only missed a dessert for those of us who can't eat gluten or lactose, I hope you take note! 😀
If I could give 10 stars I would!! Discovered on the recommendation of the hostel I was staying at. Breakfast combo in the photo (2 eggs benedict, juice, cappuccino, yogurt with fruit) only 13 euros. They have delicious gluten-free bread … I will definitely go back!!
Delighted with the experience, the food, and the service! Healthy, delicious, real food, with local produce that's good for our bodies. This is incredibly important in these times when we're surrounded by foods full of gluten, sugar, and other foods that cause severe inflammation. We need more Byokos around the world!
We already loved the food and coffee here, and with Jazmin's smiling face, it was a complete and enjoyable breakfast. The gluten-free bread was delicious. Having a gluten-free option is priceless. A must-visit in downtown Malaga.
As a response to Giordano Michel's review, your boyfriend who, according to you, was on his first day at work, asked the kitchen, who replied (to my question whether all the ingredients of both the provoletta and the mixed paella were gluten-free) that they were not! There is no point in writing falsehoods, he asked the kitchen more than once and was told that the dishes were not gluten-free, which is why we got up.
While on the phone we were told yes!!!!
I highly recommend this restaurant. I'm celiac, and they offered me several gluten-free options. The service was very good and personalized. They were attentive to detail and very pleasant. The price was also very good.
Nice cafeteria, fast service and very delicious snack offering.
They give you the possibility of gluten-free crepe dough, although warning of the possibility of traces.
Excellent quality and price, apart from that we were two celiacs and we didn't have any problems, practically the entire menu was gluten-free, highly recommended
