FINALLY a gluten free restaurant that is actually gluten free! They have dedicated fryers so there isn’t any cross contamination. The food is fantastic and the wait staff is very knowledgeable. If you’re gluten free, I highly recommend it.
This place is delicious! Tons of gluten-free options and every single thing was amazing! Such a treat to get many choices of gf pancakes among many other things.
Obsessed. The vibe is so chill, and the aesthetic is lovely. They have very interesting drink options, lots of gluten-free goodies, and a record shop in the back. Big fan.
Carmen's has a great gluten free menu, and David, the bartender who served us was absolutely exceptional. This is our first time here but we will definitely be back! Our new favorite place for lunch in Pensacola.
At End of the Line, where flavors burst bright,
Vegan delights bring pure culinary might.
The jackfruit pulled pork? Oh, what a treat,
On gluten-free bread, a savory feat!
The cabbage was crisp, pickles stood tall,
With cucumber slices—the best of them all!
Lentil soup warmed my soul with each bite,
But that sandwich? It took the spotlight!
From Brussels to chives, the soup was a hit,
Yet the star of the show? I devoured every bit.
Two visits down, and it’s clear to see,
This café serves flavor with pure mastery!!!
I wasn’t impressed but it was an okay place overall. The gluten free options were ok with a dedicated menu with Keto and vegan options. My order was just super plane for
This was our first time there and spoiler, we WILL be back!!
So start to finish:
We arrived and the atmosphere was fantastic and lively with live jazz being played inside. It was kinda loud but meh, it’s worth it. We were quoted 30-45 mins and got sat within 14mins.
Sweet tea to drink and it was yummy.
I got the fried chicken, Mac & cheese, and green beans. Hubs got the shrimp and grits which was gluten free, as well as a side of their yams.
When I tell you my husband was in HEAVEN. He said that’s the best shrimp and grits he’s ever had and the corn bread was fantastic.
My chicken was moist and flavored wonderfully! The Mac and cheese was gooey and I was indifferent about the green beans.
Our server was nice and didn’t hover but made sure we had what we needed.
Definitely coming back to try new things!

Went for my birthday dinner with my family, great experience as usual! Ceail was WONDERFUL! My mom has celiac and Ceail was incredible about making sure she knew what she could have and double checking to make sure her food was safe. Our food was great, drinks stayed full, and we definitely enjoyed ourselves!
Comfortable, clean, and a nice menu
Omelet good, grits pretty good.
I'm looking forward to going more often.
Friendly employees who help each other and take good care of customers.
They have gluten-free oat pancakes and corned beef hash. Unusual, and I'm glad to see it.
A definite favorite now
Great atmosphere, food, and service. Gluten free options marked on the menu, and our server was knowledgeable about cross contamination. No reactions from the celiacs in our family. Will definitely be back!
Food was fantastic, they have a small menu but have perfected what they have. They have gluten free options, everything is very affordable. The coffee and tea options are delicious, my husband and I sat at the bar and went there twice while staying at the Hilton across the street.
Neat place but the service was a bit lacking and the food wasn't very good. Why serve swai when you are right on the Gulf? Wouldn't recommend the fish n chips. But the hush puppies were good. They do have a lot of gluten free options, which is nice for people who need to watch for such things.
Me and my friends went here for our last dinner on a girls trip. It was perfect! The wait was a little long but it was very worth it. I am gluten free and I was surprised by the quality of the options. Obviously, there weren’t many options, but they were delicious. We also had such an amazing waitress, Penny! She was kind and was very personable. We were so happy with our experience.
I had the grilled salmon with a loaded potato and zucchini it was perfect. The kitchen was accommodating for gluten free and the server was excellent. Pleasantly surprised with this chain restaurant.
A unique and elevated take on basic dishes. I love the intricacies of each dish and carefully crafted flavor profiles. I have a gluten sensitivity and staff are able to provide recommendations and modifications to accommodate this. Nice wine and drink selection. New location is beautiful, but can get noisy when crowded. Excellent service!
Me and my family came in town last week to visit and we had never tried Flora Bama. Devan was able to help us find menu items to accommodate for my gluten allergy.
I have to say, Not only was the food absolutely delicious, the service was Top Notch. My son has a gluten allergy and a dairy allergy and when I called the restaurant earlier, the hostess answered the phone and assured me that although they did not have a gluten-free menu, they do serve many gluten-free items. I took my my son there for dinner, and our waitress Rane was very knowledgeable about what items were glued and dairy-free. She assured us that they deal with this all the time and that they are very careful in the kitchen, and she will personally tell the chef. After our order was placed, Deen, the manager of the restaurant came to our table and reassured us that they take allergies very seriously and that the chef uses new pans to cook the meals and switches the gloves often to avoid cross-contamination. That made us feel very comfortable, and we will definitely be back often. Thank you for the wonderful meal and the comforting experience.
Dog friendly!! And bottomless mimosas! Super impressed with this rad cappuccino and all day breakfast spot. A character filled coffee shop that has free wifi for remote work and expanded from an indoor skate park/surf shop. I ordered the Ala Moana Acai but my partner's Steak n Egg melt was too good looking not to steal a few bites. Smoothies, vegan/gluten free options, and a delicious pastry bar! The employees really take pride in the food they're serving. We came in right as they opened on a Sunday so it was peaceful but I read they have live music events and I bet it can get crowded so come early!
Majority of the main dishes can be made gluten free! Tell your server and the chef will double check everything and also cook things in a different pan just so you can eat that item instead of frying it in a fryer that could have a cross contamination issue
A latte so bad it was absolutely undrinkable. The espresso tasted burned. I don't get the appeal here, and I don't get the concept.
Oh, also, when a customer asks, "Do you have any gluten-free sweets," responding, "We have vegan sweets," isn't helpful. Not the same thing, dear. A "no" might be disappointing, but it's an acceptable answer when it's accurate.
Update: I see the owner responded that Starbucks would be a better option for me. How bitter, what a bad attitude, and what a snide response to an honest review. I don't go to Starbucks because I prefer to support small and local businesses whenever I can. I've even given small businesses a second chance after a disappointing or even horrible first experience. But when the product is inedible or unusable and the owner is a class A twerp? Why bother.
Anyway, Bodacious, The Drowsy Poet, Ruby Slipper, Maximillian, and many other local coffee shops have better beverages. I might not live in Pensacola any longer, but I'm there often and drink a lot of espresso. This place isn't getting my business again.
Pensacola’s favorite neighborhood restaurant! Great food and a charming environment. Food is always fresh and flavorful. Great space for business meetings, either at a table or if renting the private room in the back for a larger party. Staff are always friendly and attentive. Plenty of gluten free options, and even offer GF tamari soy sauce for sushi!
Update 01/19/2025. So basically the person responding(most likely the manager) is calling me a liar. Nice. Like I said. ATTITUDE!!! I may have had the names wrong. But it was a baklava that was soggy and a tuna that was stringy. Semantics.
Original review:
I was sooo looking forward to celebrating Christmas Eve here. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!
First of all…they require a credit card with security code to make a reservation. They call to make sure you are coming. That’s 2 calls…but not once did anyone mention that the menu online would not be available. So we have our dinner planned out and when we get there find that only a couple of entrees are available and they have picked out your sides for you. No substitutions!!! Well. Broccolini and I don’t get along. ESPECIALLY doused in too much oil. Allergies. Also dried out twice-baked stuffed potatoes prepped in advance. NOT SO MUCH. This was discussed with server while ordering and wouldn’t you know it? The said veggie was on my plate saturating everything with its wonderful taste!!! I asked again for something else and was presented with green-yellow half rotten asparagus again dosed with a quart of oil and no seasoning. The quart of oil had already shown its ugly face on the charred romaine salad. By this point, I still held out hope for the ahi tuna that was the lesser of two evils, seeing I’m also gluten-free and no other options available this evening. The tuna had SOOOO MANY strings running through it I almost choked.
By this point, the server had copped an attitude of condescension and the night was ruined. I was hoping against all odds that the dessert would be better but the baklava tiramisu was as dry as could be. So tough it couldn’t be cut!!! Did the real chef take off for Christmas Eve? Because all the reviews must be compensated otherwise!
Well finally, when the bill came($140+ for two people!)a charge for the asparagus was the last straw. I brought it to the manager’s attention and was greeted with more attitude and asked her to remove the 20% tip that had been applied. I was told that was mandatory. It’s funny because we usually leave 25% if the server is even half pleasant and efficient. When I see groups of servers standing behind the counter cackling, I get a sour taste in my mouth. Especially when they are laughing and looking directly at me. Things were dicey in the kitchen, if you know what I mean. It’s amazing! We are new here. I can name plenty of places in Pensacola that welcome the seniors to dine there. This isn’t one of them. Stay away unless you like attitude!
Sorry. No photos. I was too dumbfounded! I also waited to calm down to write this. But this place truly sucks!
Oh. I forgot to mention that this place is the size of a hotel room. I felt so sorry for the young couple that were positioned looking directly at the front door 4 feet in front of them. Every time the door opened they practically played hostess. Not to mention the blast of cold air.
We came in for a quick breakfast and I needed gluten free pancakes. They were perfect with bananas and strawberries. The waitress’s were fantastic in their interactions with customers and especially the younger children. Our waitress, Ashlee, was super nice and checked on us several times.
I would honestly go here just for the cheese and chocolate, but everything is good here. Obviously, Melting Pot is a great place for sharing a fondue experience, but the people at the Pensacola location make it special. They have gluten-free (GF) options, and although pricey, we have always had great meals here and it's worth it. The service here is great and the people are awesome from the hostess, to the servers, to the manager. We typically do the Big (or Bigger) Night Out because it includes everything - cheese, salad, main entrees, and dessert - but you can order a la cart or catch a special if you sign up on their website. Give Melting Pot Pensacola a chance if you're looking for a treat!
AMAZING. the food was very delicious. Most of the dishes gluten free and the amount of food you receive is wonderful for that price. The owners are very friendly.
Good Day, Darling is a charming neighborhood café tucked away in East Hill, just across the parking lot from East Hill Publix.
Opened by the founders of the Magnolia, it carries the same creative spirit. If you knew the Mag, you absolutely need to know Good Day, Darling.
Their inspired menu features sips and snacks like coffees, teas, pastries, soups, and sandwiches—including some unique gluten-free options, which I find to be a really thoughtful addition. My personal favorite is the grab-and-go coffee option—perfect for those mornings when I’m in a rush but still want a quality cup of coffee.
Good Day, Darling is a wonderful addition to the neighborhood and will quickly become a local favorite. It’s already mine!

They have some new bundles for families that are just incredible , the salmon was delicious and the sides were as well. And man old man their croissants looks and their croissants look so great had to give them to someone else in our group. But they were good about gluten-free options
I am gluten free and noticed that their menu listed which were gf so I picked fhe sashimi of the salmon and shrimp and eel, all listed as gf. My salon and shrimp came out as rhat but then I got a roll. I asked multiple times is this what the bbq eel was on the menu, jn the sashimi section. 2 waiters said yes. I ate part of it just to find out tjete was fried asparagus jn it. They took it off the bill but luckily I don't have celiacs or else it would babe been bad. I was sick in bed the next day so bloated and in pain I had to skip the beach. Ruined my trip.
SO good. Great service, atmosphere, amazing food! The chef accommodated my dairy/gluten free needs and my meal was incredible. So glad to have found this place and will definitely be back! Espresso martini also a 10!
Delicious. Everything on the menu is tasty. Lots of gluten free options and no high fructose corn syrup in the food. The traditional BBQ sauce is my favorite.
Nice that my celiac husband had some gf options. For appetizer we had shrimp and chicken lettuce wraps that were delicious. He had the mahi tacos. He said the taco shells needed to be a little crispier but flavor was good. I had the mushroom stack with blackened shrimp that was very tasty. Our son had the savory bread pudding dinner. I didn't particularly like the sangria... tasted a little like it had powdered lemonade? Beautiful location. Sat on the outside patio. We will definitely go back!
It's a 66-mile, hour and a half round trip from our home, and we will make it often. My wife has a gluten allergy that cause her knuckles to swell, muscles to ache, and just make her miserable. She is looking forward to our next trip. (We have some gluten pills that make life livable, but barely.)
Fried Green Tomatoes, OUTSTANDING!
Onion Rings, OUTSTANDING !
Chicken Tenders, OUTSTANDING!
We ordered 4 pc tender snack, 6 pc tender dinner with onion rings instead of fries, and a side of fried green tomatoes. We had 4 tenders, 4 fried tomato slices, 6 onion rings, and most of the fries left. We put them in 2 boxes and took them home. I douted these leftovers would ever regain their psst glory. But, au contraire...the air frier (350° for 5 minutes) brought them back to crunchy l
tasty life.
Absolutely charming. Great place to grab some lunch while exploring downtown. Fun drink selection, too. Love the tacos and nachos! Staff are friendly and attentive. Gluten free options available.
This is a great little restaurant that is new to the east hill area! The food has always been top notch and service has been amazing! The establishment is super cozy and always clean, and would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys great quality food! We have personally tried the French dip sandwich, hot honey fried chicken sandwich,
Burrow burger, sweet potato waffle fries and their regular fries! The burger can also be made gluten free for anyone with a gluten allergy/intolerance.
Wow. Finally a restaurant that offers everything someone that is gluten free can order like a normal person. Their shop inside offers really cute thing too.
This is a consistently good place to eat! Also perfect to take clients and customers to meet for lunch. They have an extensive menu that includes vegan and gluten free if desired.
This is such a cute little spot. Its in a but of a run down area, but the minute you walk through the doors your transported. Geo, is fantastic. Everyone needs a person loke Geo to run their business. He is well put together, friendly and accommodating. My daughter and I both have gluten allergies and he made sure to go over the menu with us in detail and let the cooks know to take extra precautions. The menu is priced well too. We will be back!
I've never been as angry over a dining experience as I am right now.
I went here tonight and ordered a Cuban sandwich. I specifically ordered it gluten free as I have Celiac disease. When it was brought out, I could see it didn't look like their gf bread (I've eaten here before so I know what it looks like). I asked the bartender repeatedly if it was gluten free, and she assured me it was. It should've been a red flag that it didn't look like it should've and she didn't go to the kitchen to confirm, but I started eating it anyway. Lesson learned: trust your instincts. Got through about half, and I could tell it wasn't gluten free. I asked the bartender again, and again she assured me it was gf. There happened to be a mrmber of the kitchen staff getting off shift sitting at the bar, and he cut in to say that no, it absolutely wasnt gluten free, confirming my fears. As someone with Celiac, I knew how this would turn out and I'd be really sick. I tried to explain this to the bartender, but she really couldn't care less and offered to box up my leftovers. Lol, sure, box up the literal poison on my plate. It would've taken her 30 seconds to go to the kitchen and confirm when I originally asked. Instead, I'm at home less than 30 minuted later already crying from the stomach pain. The staff here definitely don't take allergies/medical issues seriously. I'll never trust them again.
