The menu mentions asking about gluten-free options, so I asked what was gluten-free. The answer, “everything”. They have gluten-free toast, French toast, and waffles! They also have sugar-free syrup! Having a wheat allergy and being diabetic usually means I have to be very selective. I was amazed at how accommodating this restaurant is. The food was amazing and Phillip was an excellent server!

An Unforgettable GF & VG Dining Experience at Lila – Sarasota, FL Visiting from Ridgefield, CT, my wife Julie and I had the pleasure of dining at Lila during our trip to Sarasota for US Rowing Youth Nationals — and we were absolutely blown away. Julie follows a gluten-free and dairy-free diet, and this was hands down the best GF and DF dinner she has ever had. The flavors, presentation, and care put into each dish were exceptional. I ordered a regular entrée (the Green Circle Airline Chicken breast) and was equally impressed — it’s clear that Lila is dedicated to delivering a high-quality experience for all diners, no matter their dietary preferences. To top it all off, we shared the GF and DF Key Lime pie for dessert, and it was exquisite! — creamy, tangy, and the perfect finish to a memorable meal. Thank you, Lila, for making us feel so welcome and for proving that gluten-free and dairy-free food can be both indulgent and refined. We’ll be dreaming about this meal for a long time, and look forward to coming back!

Definitely not celiac friendly! You can smell the baked pizza in the air. Yeah nope! How can anybody rate these places as gluten-free friendly. Seriously, just walking in and being there for 5 minutes, my son and I both were symptomatic, and we didn't even eat or drink anything

We visited from TN and we can't wait to come back and eat here again. The food is fresh and healthy. So many gluten free options too since my husband has celiac and I am gluten intolerant. The staff are so nice and willing answer any questions you have. Definitely a 10 out of 10 ☺️

As someone who is gluten free- having several clearly marked choices on menu is always comforting and helpful. Food was delicious. Our table got enchiladas, birria tacos and queso fundido. All of it was very good. Tacos were some of the best I’ve had. Also our server Daniela was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely return.

I love Simon’s! I’ve been going for years and the food is always amazing! I always go for any vegan specials and the soups are always delicious and unique! I also never leave without a dessert for later! Such a great variety of vegan, gluten free and other items! A huge bonus is that their entire team is incredible! Local- family owned- great options- check them out!

100/10, absolutely excellent. Especially if you have Celiac and have to be gluten free -- they have GOT YOU. This is one of the largest gluten free menus I've ever been able to order from that wasn't a dedicated GF restaurant. We got the drunken shrimp, chicken risotto, and smores budino, and it was so good! There were five or six GF deserts I could've chosen too, which is unheard of. The gluten free bread alone won me over. It was so incredible, even my husband loved it. The wine is delicious -- we joined the wine club and got the seasonal dragonfruit sangria, as well as the white sangria. Highly recommend!! Bonita at the wine tasting bar took care of us, she has the best personality and laugh, such a joy. 🥰 Give this woman a raise! Also Casey W, our waitress, for the great service and taking care of my GF needs. We had such a great experience, we definitely recommend. Top 3 restaurant in the Tampa/St. Pete/Saraota area for us.

Fountain of youth discovered! Run do not walk to this hidden gem on Stickney Point and Gateway in Sarasota. If I could’ve bought the place out I would’ve! Check out all the awesome REAL food here full of organic, gluten free, vegan, GMO free, plant based life nourishing fuel. This place has figured out the perfect blend of go to recipes and local vendor medley that can almost replace your grocery store. Try the drive thru for a quick pick up of plant based hot and cold drinks, gluten free donuts and awesome shots to pump your day like elderberry and anti inflammatory. When you head inside you’ll be super stoked to find a treasure trove of the coolest food and treats around. My whole family has health issues that we are tackling by plugging into this healthy local family owned business committed to helping people heal. Just started replacing our not so healthy shelves with these health packed goodies and sure enough it doesn’t get better than hearing our family say hey pick me up some of that Crop stuff! Woot!!!! When your fam feels good you feel good, just can’t say enough about this place. Ask for Tyler he’s the guru on anything you need help with totally cool vibe and will steer you to just the right items for you and your family. CROP you ROCk! I think I’m going to need a monthly subscription plan, what do ya say CROP?!! Sign me up!

WELL THE YARD HOUSE IS TOP TIER I WILL SAY. GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS ARE AMAZING, THE BARQUE BACON BURGER IS AMAZING HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I THINK IT WAS THE JUICEST BURGER I HAVE EVER HAD. WOULDVE LIKED A LITTLE BETTER SERVICE BUT THE PLACE IS GREAT. GOOOO TOOOO YARDDD HOUSEEEE

We ordered 4 pizzas to dine in. One was gluten free. She brings 3 pizzas out. We wait for 25 minutes and ask where the gluten free pizza was. She said this is it. We asked why she put it in front of another couple. It was 3/4 eaten. She said she would order another gluten free. 1/2 hour later I asked another waiter where the gluten free pizza was. I then said give us our bill. Paid the bill and needless to say she got no tip. It was like she didn’t want to be there. Not attentive. Very poor service. She took the pizza off our bill and we never got the one that was reordered.

They have an excellent happy hour! Also the most delicious homemade gluten free pita. The tzatziki dip is the best I've ever had and saganaki is a childhood favorite. Highly recommend this location.

Our server Ashley was great! She was great with our son and very attentive even though it was really busy. The food is great, the kids meal is a great value and great quality. Love that they have gluten-free and dairy free options (except dessert 😞) Love that the menu changes with the season too. It's super busy on the weekend, they should open one closer to Parrish

We kept saying how had we never been here before! The open faced roast beef sandwich was unbelievable and the sweet potato fries come with apple butter to dip with- so good! There is some history to the place our server told us about and most things can be done gluten free. We will be coming back frequently!

Restaurant right on the water with lots of covered and not-covered seats. You can sit and enjoy all the boats going by. It gets busy so expect a bit of a wait, but you can grab a drink from the bar and wait at the picnic tables by the dock. The staff was super friendly, and the food was good. The Cesar salad with Mahi was ok, not great, but the veggie burger was really tasty. And they have gluten free burger buns.

We absolutely loved our experience at Kojo Sarasota, hands down the best sushi in town! Beautiful salon, bar and high tables as well, gets very crowded but still feels spacious enough. The food was outstanding!! Every dish was packed with great flavors and well prepared. You can truly taste the freshness of the ingredients in every bite, which makes the whole experience even better. Great menu, The sushi rolls were outstanding, and the seaweed crunchy taco was such a fun and delicious surprise. We also tried the greens and Brussels sprouts, and they were incredible too, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly done. The cocktails were top-notch, crafted with high quality products and creativity. On top of that, the service was excellent — everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. The atmosphere is elegant and classy, with a beautiful design that makes it perfect for a special night out. We celebrated a birthday, and Kojo made it unforgettable with a complementary dessert and some bubbly, a thoughtful and classy touch! They also offer a separate gluten-free menu, which is a huge plus. Overall, we had an awesome time, a very unique experience and can’t wait to come back and try other delicious dishes. 5 stars for this great restaurant. Truly the best sushi experience in Sarasota!

Incredible service as soon as you walk in the door. Very prompt and friendly. I am gluten free and the gf pancakes were amazing (Apple cinnamon). Never felt sick afterwards. The bacon on the side was delicious. Not sure where they get their bacon or how they make it, but it's a must have. The orange juice was also freshly squeezed and wonderful. Will definitely go back next time I'm in the area.

My favorite Coffee shop in Sarasota! We moved to the area 3 years ago and I started to visit every single coffee shop, ofKors have great options of pastries and their coffee quality is excellent! The place is really Hygge🙌🏼 and they have some gluten free options that becomes our favorite.

Highly recommend this local, woman-led cafe gem! I’ve tried half of the menu and everything has been gastronomic perfection. Seriously. The chef was a former private chef for a variety of celebrities and it shows. She ships in real Brooklyn bagels, every day, and works with local suppliers to create exquisite meals for pretty much every taste. I’m a big fan of the baked goods too, which include vegan raspberry croissants and gluten free fare. A rare and gourmet cafe experience!

Their biscuits are out of this world, the best in town! They have regular or gluten free sweet potato biscuits they are both 10/10. Their biscuits and gravy and baked eggs are fantastic! There’s always very yummy pastries and treats in their display case as well. Not crazy about their drinks but the food will knock your socks off.

Tonight we came with a party of 9 and we had an amazing time! We’ve had two children and our server Patrik was very accommodating and made sure we had everything that we needed throughout the entire night! Our drinks were never half empty and pitchers were full! We will absolutely be back next time we’re in town! Amazing food, staff, and atmosphere. The restaurant was very accommodating to my wife’s Gluten allergy. The smoked chicken was so moist and Gluten free with savory sides to match. It is very difficult to find a restaurant that produces true Gluten free with such amazing quality and taste, yet we have found the diamond in the rough with Yoders!. They even offer a multitude of pies both gluten free and traditional. I have never had a better pie in my life. The answer is yes this should be your next meal!

Delicious and cozy. Really friendly staff. My kid and I sat at the bar. Great playlist. Loved the vibe. The Sunnyside burger was huge! They made it gluten free for my kid - hence the toast instead of a bun. She said it’s the best burger she’s had in years! She finished it! And the homemade fries lol! I had the Sunnyside salad. Swapped kale for arugula and I am 💯 percent returning for this zesty, fresh salad! The roasted chickpeas and avocado in lemon are a culinary experience.

Additional recommendations, ribeye (size and taste align with the price), coconut shrimp and calamari REVIEW 12/29/23 5 stars are few, BUT triple tail deserves it! Back Story: I was craving a grilled chicken sandwich with a gluten free bun and my brain and stomach said “no other option it HAS to be that”. After calling 5 restaurants, being prompted to go online, unable to speak to a real person, or gluten free buns being unavailable it was the restaurant who specializes in seafood who: -Answered the phone -Had the most pleasant and professional young lady take my order -Accommodated all my requests (I’m extra and ask to add or remove a lot of things, I am a Karen after all) -Meal was executed perfectly -Atmosphere and restaurant interior is beautiful and cozy -Quality far exceeded the cost Recommendation - Grilled chicken sandwich on gluten free bun, with fries. If you haven’t been to Florence & The Spice Boys at The Landings since Chef Michelle Wolforth has been at the helm, this has to be your next dining destination! Every item on Chef Michelle’s menu is a true gastronomic experience. Each dish is thoughtfully designed and beautifully presented. The harissa roasted carrots, perfectly cooked octopus, and curry mussels were absolutely extraordinary!! The gluten-free pita was also outstanding!
