Every Thursday my seester and I have lunch at Doo-Dah. The atmosphere, the food, the people. Top tier.
You can't go wrong with the grits and pork belly ot the gluten free banana bread!
I ordered spinach omelet and potatoes, no bread and informed the staff I have celiacs. I was sick before I left the restaurant. They offer gluten-free pancakes but I was told they are cooked on the same surface as other pancakes. This is not celiac safe.
Visited on a Saturday morning and there was a 10 min wait for a party of 2. The food was tasty. They have a good selection of gluten free items. I was not a fan of the iced tea (tasted like they used gunpowder tea or added smoked wood). The gluten free pancakes and cinnamon French toast were really good.
Service was slow; took a while to get drinks/order taken and the only other time we saw our server was when we got the bill. It was very busy so I’m guessing she was in the weeds, but it wasn’t the greatest experience.
We will probably visit again next time we’re in Wichita.
In house the fries are $17 however on the website or google it lists them at 5 and 4 dollars respectively, that's a WILD rip off. I ordered the salmon in person and was told it was not gluten free as they put noodles on the dish (i wanted salmon why not offer just the salmon :(() however the website says they are arrow root noodles. which unless they just changed it and didn't update it on the website or lied to me should be gluten free as they are made of arrow root starch. the server was however really nice, I assume they probably just didn't update it especially with the all the discrepancies between the online and in person menu's including listed ingredients. all of the portions were small especially for the price (bf got fries and the brisket tacos, the fries pictured on there website seem to be a larger portion than what we were given) the korean fried chicken was the only one worth the price as they absolutely piled my bowl up with chicken lol
I've enjoyed dining at BJ's in the past, but Saturday's dining experience was sub-standard in comparison. The food was "OK", the service was "OK", the gluten-free pizza crust is not worthy of a repeat buy. I ordered a BJ's Classic Combo, the toppings saved it, the portions of meat, cheese, mushrooms were nice, got the zesty notes you look for in a sauce, but the crust - the foundation of of pizza pie - was less-than-stellar. Served up thin and crispy style, the GF crust I got was thin and chewy. I know it's a challenge to do a good pizza crust with GF dough, but this crust didn't "rise" to the challenge. My buddie's Hickory Brisket Bacon Burger was lacking the brisket, and his wife's Sliders were nothing to shout home about. Our server, while polite, wasn't all that attentive. She performed most of the obligatory functions, but the follow-ups just weren't there, the little things such as a timely drink refill, and the clearing of dinner plates before dessert arrives.
Wonderful portions. Fair cost. Friendly staff. Food tasted great also. My only suggestion is with the gluten free batter, either try using King Dynasty Gluten Free Tempura Batter or maybe just fry it longer so it has a crisper coating. If you can get that gluten free coating to be more crispy on the outside ill come back every single week!
Healthy and not heavy feeling after. Just delicious! My gluten free wife loved it so much that we wish there was one closer to us. I promise you'll love your food and eating experience.
Surprisingly great lunch specials under $15! With fantastic service and a very nice restaurant. I will happily return my tacos were fantastic and my friend loved her salmon and green beans. Ps yes get the gluten free brownie!
Fine dining at it's best! High end restaurant with excellent and attentive service by David. Food presentation was wonderful and food was fresh and delicious. Gluten free options available along with some non alcoholic beverages, like the Strawberry Nojito.
The pasta dish with pesto had mushrooms, peas, red onions, squash and blistered tomatoes. Chicken added with gluten free pasta. The regular pasta is fettuccine style. Very nice flavor! The Twelve chicken salad was loaded with chicken, tomatoes, avocado, corn, bacon and a honey vinaigrette. A little too heavy on the dressing otherwise delicious. Large portions for the salad and pasta dishes. Freshly made rolls for the table too. Definitely recommend.
This is my new favorite coffee shop! The guy who took my order was so kind (I asked a lot of questions 😅) and the coffee was delicious and BEAUTIFUL!
I tried their morning honey toast on gluten free bread and it was incredible. (Also the gluten free bread wasn’t a tiny piece like you usually see, it was a good size! Gluten free people know what I mean lol)
By far one of the best places to eat in Wichita. The service and the food and the atmosphere are some of the best Wichita has to offer. However, if you're like me and you can't control yourself around good food, then prepare yourself for a very large bill and a very long night because this food is rich not only in price. Also, if you have gluten allergies, they are very accommodating and you will not regret eating there.
Order to the left after entering. Some of the best babaganoush I've had...and definitely the best gluten free pita bread I've had - thank you!! I also ordered the lamb schwarma with the same GF pita wrap. Good draft beer selections and pleasant outdoor seating too 🌞
Fresh, flavorful, and flawless. Service is great whether it’s dine in, carry out, or curbside. The staff are friendly and attentive. They never miss when it comes to the beef shawarma, hummus, and garlicky potatoes. I brought my family here for my birthday since we needed gluten free and vegan options, and was happy to say there were optimal options for everyone!
Absolutely the best service we have ever had! If I could give it 10 stars I would. The best gluten free bread I have ever tasted! The food was so delicious! Can’t wait to go back!
We had lunch at the bar today and our server Melissa was outstanding! Super helpful about gluten free options, very attentive to us and our needs. We enjoyed our delicious food so much as well as the great conversation with Melissa!
The server in training was very friendly and her trainer was patient and attentive. The food was exceptionally delicious and they were able to provide me with a gluten free menu. Which is always a plus in my mind!
What an amazing place! SUPURB gluten free menu. Best in the city. Ariel was our server, sweet, bubbly and spot on with her recommendations. Run don't walk but save a spot for me!
On Monday I realized I needed to find a restaurant that was open for Thanksgiving that could accommodate 4 adults and 2 kids. I'm vegan and one of the other adults is gluten free. Fortunately, when I called they said that the set menu had multiple gluten free options! They did say that only the salad and sweet potatoes were vegan. Three days until Thanksgiving and there were two things I could eat on the set menu, FANTASTIC! We showed up about 5 minutes prior to our reservation and were promptly sat. The manager came over and informed me that they had actually prepared a vegan entree and a dessert. They absolutely did not have to do that for me, but I really appreciated it. They also reviewed what was gluten free on the menu. It was wonderful that all 6 people were able to eat a satisfying meal together on Thanksgiving, even though we made our reservations only a few days before. Our server was top notch and our drinks were delicious! I look forward to going back again.
We came here because there were gluten-free options. The duck wontons were delicious—and my first time trying duck! The steak and fries were also tasty.

Food was lovely, especially gluten-free options ... BUT dessert for the Daddy on Father's Day was beyond exquisite --right down to being able to drown chocolate-drenched cake in coffee liqueur from your own snifter. Our service was so friendly and caring from Caytlin, a star VORA server!
Went with a group from church. Had plenty of seating for everyone. Enjoyed the selection of items to choose from. Had the gluten free bun on my hamburger. Be careful about these buns they do tend to dry out quickly but that's not chicken n pickle. Had a blast playing pickle ball. Staff was very helpful.
Terrible customer service, long wait times. Gave consolation gift cards to a person with a gluten allergy after mistakenly giving her gluten pancakes, then refused to honor the gift cards a couple weeks later because they were “expired”. Manager needs some customer service training. Came across as very apathetic and uncaring.
I love iHop generally but I will avoid this location.
My wife and I have the great pleasure of being served by Noura on our recent visit to IHOP. The reason we went to IHOP is because they have Gluten Free items on the menu. The food was wonderful, but the service provided by Noura wildly exceeded our expectations. She was super friendly, knowledgeable and full of joy. Noura made our day and if we ever get back to Wichita, we will visit IHOP and ask to only be assisted by Noura.
Everything we had last night was amazing. I definitely recommend the toffee pecan bread pudding. It was soo good and hot.
Great place!
They also have gluten free options as well
A different location than expected, but the food and service are outstanding. Thoroughly enjoyed the vegan gf breakfast bowl. Staff was knowledgeable about gluten free items. Also snagged a couple gf goodies for later
Great menu selection, as someone learning to eat on a new restricted diet, I loved the possibility of gluten free pancakes that were amazing! The staff is always so friendly, and quick to serve. I will miss the amazing cinnamon rolls though. The are so good I just can’t have them anymore.
