We were recently in town for a long weekend and ate at the 110 Grill in Manchester every night for dinner including two large group dinners. I cannot say enough good things about the Manchester location! It is very challenging to eat out and travel with a gluten allergy, but the 110 Grill was a wonderful oasis because they take all food allergies very seriously. In fact, when they greet you, one of the first things they ask is if anyone has any food allergies. Pretty much the entire menu can be made gluten free, which was mindblowing because I am so often limited to salads when eating out. Everything we tried was delicious! We interacted with many staff members over the course of the three days and every host, server, and manager were all rockstars at what they do and also such kind and caring folks. We are so grateful to everyone who made our time there so special! Thank you for taking such good care of us!
Great for symptomatic celiac. Stopped on the way from Maine to NY. Amazing allergy awareness. Full GF menu, separate fryers, etc. 13 year old son had cheeseburger, fries, and fried pickles and was very happy!
I have been coming here for years. Even after I moved away, if I was in town visiting, I would make sure I got to go there. The gluten free bagels are excellent! I finally got a chance to try the gluten free pizza and I was definitely not disappointed! Great flavor and texture! Don't sleep on it like I did. It's awesome!
I live in another state. Every time I travel to NH I am sure to make this a stop on the list. As someone with a gluten and dairy allergy, you can’t go wrong here. The food is amazing. The people are so friendly and there is a great atmosphere. Whether you want a coffee, breakfast/lunch, or a pastry, you’ll want to stop here for a wonderful experience!
Simply amazing! One of my favorite regular spots. The staff is kind and helpful. The falafel wrap is incredible. Love the hangover bowl as well. Every item in bakery is incredible. Best part i can order anything. I'm gluten and dairy free because of stomach issues. Highly recommend
Great breakfast sandwich and coffee. Reasonable prices and good service! I overheard that they have gluten free options for some sandwiches which is great. I was here around 12/12:30 and there was only one girl taking orders and making all the drinks but she was crushing it, I don’t know if I could handle the constant rush that well! I wish I’d gotten her name but shoutout to her and everyone working this morning!!
The food here was genuinely good, and as my wife has celiac disease, it was a refreshing change to see so many gluten-free options on the menu. Unfortunately, the entire experience was ruined by the terrible service.
Our server was incredibly condescending when my wife mentioned her allergy and asked questions about the menu—and then proceeded to bring gluten crackers with her gluten-free chowder. She also spilled my entire lemonade, didn’t offer a towel or extra napkins to clean it up, and never brought a replacement drink.
Throughout the meal, she was inattentive and rushed, barely checking in and leaving before we could even ask for what we needed. If you’re gluten-free, I’d recommend getting takeout instead—it’s not worth dealing with the dismissive and careless service.
This place was amazing. I cannot wait until we can be in that area again. The food prepared is 100% gluten-free. I could eat with confidence. The atmosphere was relaxing.
They understand allergies and cross contamination, they are known for their high standards of allergy friendly food. My group that went had lots of different allergies and they were able to make safe food for all of us. I got an amazing gluten free and dairy free meal. The staff was very respectful as well
I wanted to make a special thanks for making my eating so enjoyable yesterday. I have a wheat allergy so normally finding something to eat can be quite the challenge and disheartening when eating out. Much to my surprise I your gluten free options were great and so easy. Thank you so much. I will definitely be back.
The food was quite good with a fairly simple menu. Excellent gluten-free menu. The gf pancakes were generously sized and fluffy. The burrito was more like a panini-wrap, but tasted okay. The whole wheat pancakes were good. The kids meals were -very- small. Many coffee options with okay coffee. Huge assortment of baked goods. Two downsides:
the meal was very expensive for what it was (like $100 for two adults and two kids) and the entire place has an almost aggressively Christian vibe (Bible verses everywhere, faith-based coloring pages, and C-rock playing loudly), so sit outside if that’s not your thing.
A cozy local restaurant that offers their unique take on classic American cuisine. They are located in a charming building with plenty of street parking available surrounding the establishment. For nicer weather, there is a side patio with tables shaded with umbrellas and their main dining area.
The selection of food is perfect for lunch or dinner and not overwhelming, plus they have a full bar. They serve plenty of local beer and cider, which is an excellent way to sample what the area has to offer. The majority of the menu is gluten-free, and they do offer gluten-free substitutions for sandwiches and pasta. The real highlight of the meal are their spudsters - mashed potatoes made into little conical shapes with a piping bag, probably frozen, and then deep fried. They have seasonings and sauces to choose from to create endless tasting combinations. Absolutely my new favorite appetizer, and I would come back just for these.
Everyone enjoyed their lunch and we were very happy we decided to stop. We will definitely be by again when in the area.
Great coffee and pastry shop in New London. They have gluten free muffins and oatmeal as well as smoothies and açaí bowls. Fun art throughout, plenty of comfortable seating inside and out, and nice staff!
Highly recommend there minGOs for a refreshing summer wake me up. I got the Jolly Rancher which was delicious. Their specialty lattes are so fun and spot on. I have tried the Rice Crispy Treat, Reeses Puff, And Gold rush. The names are on point with the flavors. Only flaw is the Iced lattes are warm. For me, I don’t care that much and will still order them! Bagels are delicious with the perfect ratio of bagel to cream cheese. Sandwiches are yummy along with the bakery items. Lots of gluten free options that taste amazing! I really enjoy going to flamingos but unfortunately the Hampton location is overstimulating. There’s people bumping your chairs, and standing around you while you are trying to eating. The place is not designed for the customer level they are at. The line to order is wrapped around the seating making it impossible to move around; to get to the trash or pick up your food. It’s extremely loud inside making it hard to have a conversation. Im grateful for the business they have as they do have great food and drinks. It’s just unfortunate you can’t sit down and enjoy what you got. This place location would do better as a grab and go with seating outside to help with the crowds indoors.
I recently visited The Friendly Toast in Boston’s Back Bay, and it quickly became one of my favorite brunch spots. The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a vibrant, retro-inspired atmosphere filled with eclectic decor that added a fun and welcoming vibe to the dining experience.
The menu was impressively diverse, catering to various dietary preferences, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. I decided to try the “Hash Quiche,” which was a delightful combination of cheesy eggs accompanied by a fresh fruit salad . The flavors were rich and satisfying, making it a standout dish.
My friend opted for the “Breakfast Burrito,” which was generously filled and packed with flavor. The portion sizes were substantial, ensuring we left feeling full and content. We also shared the “French Toast Monster,” a cinnamon raisin French toast served with bacon, eggs, and home fries. It was a perfect blend of sweet and savory, and even though we got it to-go, it remained fresh and delicious .
The service was prompt and friendly, with staff members who were attentive and eager to ensure we had a great experience. Despite the bustling environment, our food arrived quickly, and the staff maintained a cheerful demeanor throughout our visit.
Overall, The Friendly Toast offers a unique and enjoyable dining experience with its creative menu, generous portions, and lively atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable brunch spot in Boston.
Updated Review for Tucker’s – Nashua, NH
I’ve always appreciated Tucker’s for their atmosphere, service, and commitment to fresh food. I had initially written a completely positive review because I’ve had good experiences in the past. However, I feel obligated to update my review to reflect a recent visit where I left feeling disappointed and, honestly, hurt.
As someone with severe, medically documented food allergies—including life-threatening ones—I always take great care when ordering. On this visit, I clearly explained my allergies and requested my meal to be made as safely as possible, even offering suggestions such as using a separate pan or dish.
Unfortunately, the manager came to my table and explained they could not accommodate me due to cross-contamination concerns, and that they could not take anyone off the line to prepare something separately. I was told this decision came from upper management, and that special arrangements could not be made for someone like myself.
That phrasing alone made me feel different—as if my needs were a burden. I didn’t come in demanding anything unreasonable. I came in with humility, understanding the limitations of a kitchen, but hoping to be met with some flexibility and care.
At one point, I was told that all they could offer me was lettuce. I replied honestly: “I’m not a rabbit—I need protein.” Eventually, after mentioning that I often write reviews, I was approached again and offered a poached egg on gluten-free toast with mashed avocado and pickled onions. While I appreciated the gesture and the repeated apologies, it didn’t undo the sting of being made to feel like my health concerns were an inconvenience.
This experience reminded me how difficult dining out can be for those with serious allergies. I don’t want special treatment—I want basic compassion and safety. That day, I didn’t feel either until I pushed.
I’m not writing this out of anger. I’m writing this out of truth. My original review was glowing, but full transparency matters. I hope this helps raise awareness and encourages more thoughtful, inclusive practices in the future.
GF (Celiac Disease):
They have GF rolls for an extra charge. I have tried the chicken parm (GF) in the past and its not that great. I only get a chicken caesar salad now. I do not like the thick cheese they use on the salad but it is what it is. The salad is a bit small for the price though.
When there is no other place around or in a rush, its a good place to stop for lunch.
Excellent all around. It's no wonder this place is busy so often. IMPORTANT: THEY TAKE CARE OF THOSE WHO HAVE FOOD ALLERGIES! My wife is one with celiac disease, and they were fantastic in taking care of her and making her meal safe for her. That earns our trust and respect! We'll be back.
What an adorable place! We traveled around Jackson with our pup so could only order for pick-up, but the inside is decorated really nice for Christmas and we were treated very kindly. Cindy even called us about our order to make sure about our gluten free bread and if we preferred grilled chicken for our BLT. The rest of us got smash burgers and they did NOT disappoint. Sweet potato fries were
awesome. Would highly recommend for lunch or dinner dining in, or even take out.
Great service and delicious food. I absolutely love that they have Gluten free bread because it's so hard to go out to eat with Gluten sensitivity allergy
Came here for dinner on a night when the town had a water main break, and I am frankly stunned by how kind, gracious, and good humored the entire staff was on a night where everything was going awry. Food was awesome(the gluten free pizza is amazing) and the drinks were good, will definitely be back.
The food is incredible. Its so nice being able to get healthy options on the go. I got the avocado toast and pb and j protein balls. I had a coworker with celiacs try the avocado toast with me because it was so good we were surprised it was gluten-free and the protein balls are a repeat order for me, so so so good!! 1000/10 reccomend
We went for the first time last night and were not disappointed. When we got there, there wasn’t a lot going on, but the place was filling up when we were leaving. Our server Julie was amazing! My husband got the pulled pork mac & cheese and loved it. I got the rooster off of the gluten friendly menu and was very pleased, even the bun was good (which says a lot for gluten free). Would definitely recommend giving it a try!
Friendly and accommodating staff! Very yummy food
Someone in our party was trying to be gluten free and she was able to get a sandwich and a soup all gluten free and recommended by the server. Very cozy community and you can tell is loved by the locals
Many customers praised the cafe for its great food and service. Specific mentions include the gluten-free waffle, French toast, and the unique menu selections. The atmosphere was also described as unique and cozy, with attentive service despite being busy at times. The cafe was described as a “delightful surprise” and a “lucky stop,” with fresh and delicious food offerings like avocado toast and caprese salad .
Amazing food and drink- start to finish service was excellent and they really understand gluten free needs by having a gluten free chef! All items came with a gluten free pick in them and we had no issues. The patio is covered and heated and there are gorgeous gardens. Highly recommend!
Absolutely amazing!! Gluten free wraps are delicious, not chewy or hard. The menu has a large array of gluten free options. Food and service was excellent. Love love the drive thru style, it worked well with my introverted mood. 😬🙌🏼🥇
Arrived at noon on a Saturday to meet up with two other couples. We were seated alone in a back room with no other diners. The server allowed us all the time we wanted to chat, checking in from time to time to see if we needed anything. The menu was perfect with both lunch and breakfast items and easily accommodated our gluten free guests. Prices are reasonable and the food was nicely prepared. All in all a great experience.
I was there two days ago, it was hot, the music was blaring, I could not hear anyone in my party. The waitperson asked one of the persons in our party if they were gluten free as a preference or if it was an allergy. So in front of a group of people this individual had to say yes it was an allergy, their stomach bleeds, kinda put someone on the spot there Friendly Toast, not cool. That said the food was super expensive as well as palatable.
Just what we needed. I was so excited to find gluten-free options here. Cute little cafe, great coffee and snacks. I got the Caprese sandwich which was delicious. Highly recommend. The kids got tons of smoothies. Really made us feel healthy for our road trip back. Make sure to stop here. Service was great owners were really cool.
Great food, large portions, and most of the food is gluten free or can be prepared gluten-free. We waited an hour to be seated, as is expected on awhenbyou go out for breakfast Saturday morning in the Manchester area. The wait is worth it.
