A café that really surprised us—in a good way.
Right from the start, it felt different. Thoughtful touches were everywhere, from the layout to the little details. You could tell someone actually cared.
Service was warm and efficient. We were greeted straight away and made to feel welcome. Before we even ordered, it was clear this place runs with heart.
The gluten-free menu was done well. It wasn’t just a token option—there were plenty of choices, and each one was marked clearly with a small flag.
One detail that stood out: all the women at our table were served first. It was a simple gesture, but it said a lot about the care behind the scenes.
The food was spot on. The hash brown was house-made and crisp—not the frozen kind. Pancakes (gluten-free) were a hit, and the bacon and egg roll was packed and cooked just right.
We all had different egg requests—some runny, some not—and they nailed every one without issue.
It’s the small things too: a bite-sized brownie with each coffee, a quiet green courtyard, and tidy, unfussy decor.
Only minor note: the cappuccinos were a bit heavy on the chocolate, almost like a mocha. Nothing major, just a personal taste.
To the team—kitchen, floor staff, and whoever’s behind it all—thank you
Breakfast was amazing! Liberty was super friendly and attentive especially when we needed to order a gluten and dairy free meal for our toddler. Would happily come back again.
Donuts are amazing. It was so good to be able to get these for teenager recently diagnosed with coeliac disease. Wish there was something like this where we live.
Visiting from Sydney and needed somewhere to have breakfast that had gluten free options. The staff were fantastic with my dietary requirements (coeliac) and were able to make a breakfast option that I could safely eat. Highly recommend.
Very busy. Asked for 1 slice of gluten free bread got 2 toasted slices. Not sure what they put on it - certainly wasn't butter.
Had asked about what was in the pumpkin soup and was not told about the cream they decorated it with.
Waited for ages to have glasses and water on table. When I asked a waitress she told me to get my own from the fridge!
They were reasonably fast in serving food and it was hot when we got it. Soup tasted nice as well.
Another time I got a chicken, feta and strawberry salad. Very delicious. Wish it was on their main menu. Huge serving of salad. Yum
Lavish Coffee and Cuisine in the Woolies Riverside Plaza have Gluten Free Options for most meals on the menu. I observed staff changing gloves and using baking paper as a barrier to make my GF toasted sandwich when I asked for it to be made as safe as possible to avoid cross contamination. Thank you for the care taken and the friendly atmosphere.
This is a fabulous cafe - great coffee, fantastic food, good service, reasonable prices and a great building and courtyard garden. We ate the banana bread and the pumpkin salad with extra chicken. The owner and chef are both coeliac so they really look after GF people. An absolute must if you’re passing through Dubbo.
Outstanding customer service!! Terry, you made my day. Incredible gluten free options. Food is delicious. When you’re in Dubbo, do yourself a favour and visit this place.
Nice little shop with lots of food choices including plenty of cakes. I was particularly impressed with their good range of Gluten free cake options.
I have a Bahn Mi style chicken roll with chilli which was fantastic. Admittedly the roll could have been a little crisper but none the less tasted great. Prices were reasonable.
A fantastic little cafe for a cuppa and a snack! They mostly do takeaways, but have a few tables and chairs, plus plenty of stools to sit while you wait.
I especially loved that they actually have the complete ingredients lists on their allergy friendly foods, not just general gluten free or dairy free indications. It made it so much easier to choose something I could safely eat. They were also very knowledgeable about the ingredients of the breads and products they use to make their meals!
The staff were very friendly and so helpful!
Fantastic Cafe for breakfast, so mush so, went back the next day.
Staff are efficient, friendly and helpful.
Plenty of GF options for those that need them (wife is coeliac) and they know the importance of it.
Could not fault the food, tried different dishes each day and all were 1st class. Coffee was great, Pineapple juice refreshing but the winner was the smashed Breakfast and a Mango smoothy.
I regularly order a gluten free, dairy free, egg free brownie platter from here for work functions as my team mates have multiple allergies.
Every member of staff loves this brownie, and it's now a regular request for birthdays.
Should have taken a photo today, but it didn't last long enough.
Brilliant Gluten free Acai bowls and amazing coffee - I went the "Health Nut" bowl. The staff are absolutely lovely too. I will be back on my next visit to Dubbo!
