I had the most delicious falafel vegan bowl (and gluten-free) here! Fresh and tastyđđŸThey also have some other great vegan and GF menu options. I highly recommend it!
I always love the wedge. The staff as super friendly and accommodating. We were going to have a pram with us and my friend was gluten free and they couldnât have been more lovely and adaptable. The food is always delicious and I highly recommend the Brussel sprout dish.
Do not recommend for coeliacs. They did try to make it gluten free so if GF is a life style choice or someone can tolerate small amounts should be ok. But NOT ok for coeliacs. They use the same toaster for both normal gluten containing products and GF. They did try and use separate utensils, chopping boards, butter... but they toasted the bun on the same tray. My husband reacted badly that night. They did try, but for those who are assessing risk as a coeliac it's not safe.
Vegan (Gluten) pastries at Glebe,
Tasty pastries, go early!
Really delicious and they have gluten free banana bread if you don't want to pay $8-9 for a pastry. Cheaper option so you won't leave empty handed.
Best seats are upstairs.
Beautiful pastry and cake selection. We have tried the takeaway cakes before, which are always lovely. But tonight was dinner, so we gave it a go! Delicious ravioli with pumpkin and burnt sage butter. They give you warm bread to soak up the sauce from the pasta. The Gluten Free chocolate cake was very rich but wonderful. Fresh juice was just what we needed to wash it all down. It's often quieter at night time so pro tip: beat the crowds and eat here instead of the busy food court. Great service with a smile. Cheers!
Had a lovely time at Esca. I had read the reviews, and was a little nervous, but we had a great experience. The manager was very welcoming, even preparing a special gluten-free meal, and the food was good quality and fresh. Perhaps we were just incredibly fortunate, but overall, there was nothing to fault.
