Unfortunately, not everything was gluten free. My wife has celiac disease and became very ill right after we ate here. Apparently they are not fully aware of what is gluten free in their shop.

Great place to eat gluten-free in Syracuse. We ate there two nights in a row, their pizza crust is just the right amount of crispy. We loved the seafood spaghetti and the tiramisu, excellent. Very nice setting in front of the Duomo. The servers are friendly, I absolutely don't understand all the negative comments. As for gluten-free, they are competent on the subject and validated by the Italian Celiac Association. They have a separate menu with gluten-free dishes, you have to ask for it when you arrive (it's less extensive than the normal menu but there's still plenty to enjoy). The dessert menu is the same, the desserts available in gluten-free are indicated with a symbol (be careful though, you have to specify when ordering that you want the gluten-free version, the symbol just indicates that both versions exist).

Very well-kept location, in an elegant and imaginative Aeolian style. Top notch service. Excellent for families and couples. A place that on paper offers the possibility of serving gluten-free seasoned bread and recommended by celiac forums... The disappointment was that they didn't have any available because they already finished at 1pm... Naturally we remedied this with a very respectable, rich and abundant salad... In summary, for celiacs I recommend asking for confirmation of the availability of bread... The Malvasia Spritz (in the photo) was super appreciated

Very friendly service. There's oat milk and gluten-free toast and a gluten-free muffin. The lattemaciato with oat milk was very good. There is also brown sugar, which tastes delicious with the milk foam. I'd love to come back.

A place where you can choose between different possibilities to eat excellent products. Excellent rotisserie: ranging from scacce with various fillings to arancine also offered with classic and non-classic fillings, but there is no shortage of focaccias, pizzas and calzones. There are also very inviting first and second courses which are offered daily, always different but above all always excellent. Another gem is the possibility of being able to eat gluten-free products (scacce and arancine). In short, for anyone who is around Ragusa for holiday or work, they cannot fail to stop by to try something on the fly or to sit comfortably and have lunch with a great variety of delicacies. Super recommended!

They had told me from the other shop in Taormina that I would find Gluten-free Arancini. When I arrived at the shop near the Duomo I was told that they don't have the fryer on and therefore they can't serve me Gluten-free Arancini. Quite disheartening for a Celiac sufferer

Exceptional gluten-free (and non-gluten) arancino. Very good gluten-free cunzato bread. The gluten-free cannoli and cassata (with gluten) are also good. Very good value for money.

So good we went back twice! Don't be fooled by the name, it's a real restaurant with an à la carte menu Extremely kind and attentive staff, excellent quality and decidedly abundant dishes! The environment is also very well-kept I would also like to point out the presence of gluten-free options - the pasta you see in the photo - and the girl who served us the first evening was very attentive and explained all the options to us well We will definitely be back!

Bad communication in the kitchen room. Little seriousness and little attention. I asked if there was lactose in a product and was told that it was lactose-free, but this did not guarantee the absence of contamination. Not even 10 minutes after finishing dinner I felt ill inside the restaurant, even though I have a mild lactose intolerance for which the contamination has no effect, even attracting the attention of a doctor who advised me to go to the emergency room due to the severity of my condition. Nothing but contamination! The product contained lactose in high quantities and I felt ill for the following days. We also called in the afternoon to find out if they had gluten-free products and they assured us they had pasta. In the evening, however, they told us they didn't have gluten-free pasta, which they however recovered following our complaints.
