Simply the best restaurant me and my boyfriend have been too! We went back twice on our 5 night stay and we would love to come back in the future. My boyfriend has coeliac disease and this is hands down the best restaurant! The food is absolutely gorgeous the gluten free menu is huge! The staff are very knowledgeable about the gluten free diet. Even the non gluten free menu is amazing. The staff are so kind and entertaining. The drinks menu is fabulous too! The food is fresh and good quality and the prices are very reasonable. Can’t recommend this restaurant more especially if you are a coeliac or follow a gluten free diet.
I'm giving it 2 stars because one of the servers is very friendly and helpful. The lady at the register is very harsh and unpleasant. The sweets are very dry and tasteless. It's not worth it, no matter how gluten-free they are. Expensive for the quality.
Wow!!!!!
What an amazing place to visit.
The staff are attentive friendly and very knowledgeable regards allergies.
The homemade bread was blooming amazing!!!! And the rest of the food was delicious.
I loved the gluten free cookies too I took them home to eat in England!! Incredible place.
Cannot wait to return :)
I love this place. They have the best tequeños I've ever had, and they're gluten-free! And with delicious artisan cheese, all the food is delicious; you can tell it's handmade and with excellent taste. The arepas are grilled and also amazing! 🔥🔥Top!

The staff was lovely! I'm celiac, and they have many gluten-free options, including arepas and empanadas. And they're also delicious, with a good amount of food. Highly recommended.
A place right on the promenade, so we went in and ordered hamburgers, pork tenderloin and fried octopus, as well as fried fish.
First of all the octopus, they were thin slices that were breaded and cooked in the deep fryer. It had the impression that sections of the octopus from the main course were prepared like this as tapas. The fried fish was thin and cooked bone dry, with an aioli on the side, which admittedly wasn't bad. Now about the pork with fries, 4 pieces tasted good, fresh, soft and well seasoned. However, 2 slightly larger pieces were dry, hard and tasted old, as well as being reused from the day before.
The hamburger was good.
How can you tell from the menu that an octopus is breaded? According to the service, it is labeled with the allergen gluten. We were told this afterwards.
Overall it was decent portions for tapas.
But apparently more emphasis is placed on using staff to attract guests on the promenade than on making them return satisfied because of the quality of the food.
In any case, we won't be coming back.

Excellent place for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, or dinner... A wide variety of gluten-free dishes, all delicious and reasonably priced. 100% recommended.
Kalma Cafe located in Puerto Del Carmen is certainly a hidden gem and brilliant place for lunch.
There is a widely accessible menu that includes, vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. In particular, there is a great selection of smoothies, juices, soft drinks and alcohol. This menu is able to be viewed online via their website prior to visiting.
I've visited multiple times and had avocado on sourdough bread with salmon, eggs benedict and pancakes. I enjoyed the consistency knowing that every time I'd visit, the meals would be of high quality.
The staff are very friendly and are proficient in English for non-Spanish speakers.
It can be busy however I never had to wait for a table and it's about a ten minute wait for food.
The price is about €10-20 euros a person which is a relatively good price in comparison to places of a similar nature.
I look forward to coming here again on my next holiday!
Excellent place.
Welcoming staff who speak my language.
Original and healthy menu.
Quality products and gluten-free options!!!
A must-visit if you're passing through and enjoy quality establishments.
We visited this lovely cafe twice during our holiday, as it was one of very few places which caters for coeliacs for both sandwiches and cakes. We had teas, soft drinks, cakes and toasties - the food was always good, with a good range of options. The location is central and quiet, if a little hidden away in a square behind Burger King.
Beautiful food, we have been for breakfast and lunch many times but first time having dinner and it was divine! Incredible amount of gluten free options
Stumbled across this place whilst looking for a breakfast treat with our young family. Such a wonderful place with great choice!
Loads of gluten free options and the pastries are only €2. The Nutella mocha was delicious!
The hot chocolate was also yummy, in true Spanish style - thick and creamy!
They have all the allergens marked on the menu which makes it really easy to choose gluten free dishes. I had one of the platos combinados with omelette, chips and salad which was generous, tasty and good value. The fresh lemonade was great too!

A lovely place, great ice cream and was asked about allergies, which was helpful since one of us is a coeliac. Clean spatulas were used and a fully gluten free miracle was born.
Excellent yogurt bowls along with extremely tasty gluten-free pancakes. Thank you.

Good place for breakfast, lots of variety and great coffee. Very fast and attentive service. As advice for celiacs or gluten intolerant people, it would be good to expand the offer a little, at least for a type of salty breakfast, since there is nothing, with some toasted bread to be able to eat, for example, a skewer or some toast.

10 coffee, great service and the empanadas if you pass by you have to try them. Plus now in summer it's hot on the terrace and it's very nice and there's quite a breeze. It has some options for celiacs, although not homemade.
