Loveeee Sunflower Caffe! 🌻 Such a great vibe, offered blankets and outside heaters on their back patio. Their gluten free bread is SO GOOD! I got the grilled ham & cheese, 10/10 will be back and definitely recommend if you’re visiting Sonoma and looking for a great breakfast or lunch!
Baker & Cook is the best! My partner can’t have gluten due to an allergy, and their gluten free options are our favorite probably in the whole world?
Great food, great coffee, incredibly friendly staff. Can’t say enough great things about this gem.
Harvey himself was here to make recommendations and tell us his story! Great spot for fun flavors and gluten free options. Yummy blended lemonade, too!
Came for brunch on my birthday 9/9 and I am so happy we did!! Our experience was definitely 10/10!! I ordered an espresso martini my way, and the bartender executed the cocktail perfectly! Start with the cariar dip and pork belly/Gruyère omelette (the dip was soo good and I’ve never had an omelette so fluffy in my life) we also got the cheeseburger (which my husband devoured) and the flounder dish (I have a gluten allergy, and they were graciously accommodating). Our waiter was outstanding, and to top it off, Kim came around and made our already amazing experience even better! This was our first visit, but now The Girl & The Fig has made its way on our go to Napa/Sonoma list every time we are there! I can’t wait to go back!
I don't like leaving bad reviews but I ordered a tuna melt on gluten free bread here and the sandwich was a paltry size at best.
I understand the gluten free bread slices are just smaller than the other types of bread but this sandwich was child-sized and not satisfying for me.
If they had plated two of these smaller sandwiches or offered a soup or side dish, I would've been much happier.
Instead, I finished in about 4 bites, then bought a second lunch at another restaurant.
Great Sandwiches!!! I went in with no expectations, after all it’s a roadside deli next to a gas station.
You fill out your own order form from a table near the door and hand it off at the counter, then wander back through a convenience store area to choose a drink, chips, or candy, which takes you to another counter where you pay. Very casual.
I was able to buy a small bottle of local sparkling wine, I know it was lunchtime, but we were in Napa so I felt it a moral imperative.
The sandwiches were fresh and stuffed to capacity. The gluten free bread was soft and fresh tasting. (Not dry like gf often is) The accoutrements, like avocados, lettuce, and tomato were cool and fresh.
We were both pleasantly surprised.
Excellent! We had the Don Chava burger (burger and bbq pulled pork), it was so good. I had mine on gluten free bread, delicious. We love everything about Picazo Cafe. I’ve been going there for a few years now and the remodel looks fantastic! The food, service and atmosphere is exactly what I’m looking for in a restaurant.
I have been to Valley twice this year. This is a stellar experience all around. The food and wine are divine. I have a gluten free diet restriction and many of their entrees and sides are gluten free. One of the plates I got was Roasted Stone Fruit with Ricotta. The flavors and textures were wonderful. My partner and I shared the Lamb dish, and he raved about it. This type of restaurant fits me because they have a lot of shareable plates. It is a small menu that changes (apparently).
A wonderful cafe bringing the Scandinavian spirit to Sonoma. From tea, to coffee, to hot chocolate they have you covered. Great espresso, pastries (even gluten free options) are made in-house and they have godis (Swedish candy)!
Update: more Swedish pastries are coming!
Love, love, LOVE this sweet little shop with tasty, freshly prepared breakfasts and lunches but the standout stars are the baked goods. Each one is even more delicious than the one before. Croissants, muffins, scones, and even gluten free items my friends swear by. Highest quality in a cozy setting.
