Liked 3 of the 4 items that we purchased. Veggie Quiche, Lemon bars, and mixed berry scone were okay. Although, the only berry we found was blackberry.
The sausage cheddar scone had a very dry and sandy texture which is surprising, especially since everything is gluten-free. I would think that they would have gotten the texture better.
The atmosphere was awesome, the food and coffee were delicious and I will definitely be coming back! I’m very sensitive to gluten and didn’t have any reaction to their gluten free crepes with sausage and egg. It was also very tasty and filling!
I've passed the Three Rivers Market several times and not stopped but I just had to stop and take my grandson with me yesterday. They have little kids carts which was a huge win. We shopped up and down every aisle. It is small so it's not a full service grocery store. I guess you would say but we found everything we needed and he put in his little basket. If you are gluten free, vegan, vegetarian or try to eat wholly organic, this is the place for you. It's a hidden little Little gem, oddly placed in my opinion but, well worth the drive.
UPDATED REVIEW.
I was reached out to you by management that recommended I give it another try. Again like usual the place was absolutely gorgeous. Speaking with the manager my concerns were addressed very thoroughly and was able to see what was going on with the processing of the donuts that were there prior. We spoke about all incidents and I felt very comfortable with the way that they were addressed. After seeing the way that the gluten free donuts are supposed to come out they were delicious they're soft not chewy and didn't crumble. The regular donuts this time we're thoroughly cooked and we're very close to the consistency of a croissant. My daughter was very pleased with it and this time finished half of a donut. The latte was a good temperature flavor was smooth and not overpowering with the caramel.
In conclusion I gave this place a second try and was thoroughly impressed. When being able to figure out the issues of that day and assist with improving their business please check them out.
The menu is labeled falsely in regards to allergens. Many items are marked vegan and gluten free, but are full of both allergens. One of the staff members/ cooks was a very kind and understanding lady. She was the highlight of the visit. However, the cashier was very rude and did not care about the important discrepancy. I would recommend that others with food allergies, like myself, avoid Tazikis.
Baby shower cake was beautifully decorated and the gluten-free vanilla and chocolate options were delicious and moist. Make sure you get a yummy ice coffee when you pickup your cakes 🙂
The coffee tasted soooo good, the bagels were sooongood they tasted like they were homemade! We also got the pumpkin muffin and blueberry muffin both gluten free they were aaaaamazing! Not only that but the one who took our order and brought out our order were super duper friendly. We were just stopping through town so we may never be back but you should definitely go to this place!!!
Food is very delicious, especially offering gluten-free alternatives! There are tons of options and very informative when you're unsure what to try next! Staff was wonderful and knowledge, which was helpful! Good portions as well! I'm excited for family to try my leftovers since we all love trying some good Foodie spots
The best pastries I have ever had! Try everything so good! Wish they had more gluten free options but other than that love everything about this place!
This has quickly become my favorite coffee stop because - books! DnD! book nook kits! Fantasy! My favorite drink is the dragon's breath, but it also has great options for my kids, like the hot chocolate. Love to see thr gluten-free options for my friends who need that, too.
We were excited for new coffee in Knox and we enjoyed this! I was so excited to see they had gluten free muffins.. and they were VERY good. 😍 Americano and cappuccino were very well done, and the Summer Thyme smoothie… oh man. Any place with “gluten free” and “organic” on the menu is gonna get me excited and this is probably our new favorite spot. :)
Best coffee shop in Knoxville! Really enjoyed my shaken espresso, comparable prices to other local coffee shops, and my gluten-free blueberry bagel was great.
Parking is around the block behind the building, so after I figured that out, parking was easy and entrance is handicap accessible
I have been so excited to visit this coffee shop for months and it did not disappoint! The decor is adorable and so unique. The owner and staff are so kind and friendly! I got a caramel latte that was incredibly delicious and was only $5 for 24oz!! Inside the store there is a small library filled with books to borrow focusing mostly on LGBTQ+ books that are hard to find! I'm in love.
Gluten free note: their caramel syrup is certified gluten free.
(My latte is half gone in the picture because it was so good I forgot to snap a picture before I got home!)
Wandered upon this gem during our time in Knoxville, and so happy we did! Got here around 3:00 and it was still busy on a Saturday. Not familiar to the area so didn't park, had someone drive around while I got our orders to go.
Cute interior with some single bar seats by the windows and some small group seats in the area near the counter.
The guy who took my order was patient and helped me with recommendations. I got the matcha latte, dirty chai, and a version of a caramel macchiato (they didn't have it on the menu but said they can make something close to it). All drinks we got were iced! We also got the gluten free coffee cakes and apple muffin.
The pastries/ baked goods were delicious and I would definitely get again! The version of the caramel macchiato and the matcha latte were also very refreshing and tasty. I didn't care much for the dirty chai though- but I think that's just my personal preference.
TLDR; good vibe coffee shop, good coffee and good eats. Would recommend!
