Today is my Mom's 75th birthday.
She has food allergies, so I expect to pay more for a good cake.
I ordered a small chocolate cake with vanilla frosting that's also gluten/soy/corn free. With the extra $15 for corn-free powdered sugar I paid $79. I told them it was for a celebration and asked them to put a 75 on top. They told me that, due to the ingredient limitations, they couldn't color the frosting and that the 75 would be white on white. I approved that and told them to just make it look nice.
This is what I got. Did a professional decorator do this? It's yellow (is that even safe to eat based on what they told me on the phone when I ordered?). It's not proportional. It isn't even remotely celebratory looking. I could've done it better myself. I'm so disappointed. 3 stars because at least the cake is good.

Came by the other day and wish I lived closer. I probably would come by every morning! I tried a few different things and all were AMAZING! If you’re not sure what to get try the Parisan latte and the brisket melt! Baristas are great, Lana was the one who helped us. They are also gluten/vegan friendly which is amazing for a coffee shop!
