Fantastic gluten-free Japanese restaurant! The menu is also clearly marked for other allergens. Very attentive service. Tempura is a treat after not being able to have it for years. Everything has been delicious each time we go.

We loved the unique drinks, and enjoyed the farm fresh brunch. Plenty of dairy free, gluten free and eggless options. Had a scramble with tempeh substituted for the egg and the cashew sauce on top was delicious. Also we added bacon and sausage to our meal and the bacon had a delicious rich flavor and the sausage was tender and tasty. Plenty of farm fresh veggies accompanied our meals. 10/10 recommend.

Hands down my favourite GF bakery. 100% gluten free so celiac safe. Their donuts are the real deal and their chocolate croissants are delicious. A variety of sweet and savoury treats plus drinks, they’re always bringing out new products and seasonal goodies. They even run GF three course dining events often.

Our family has been enjoying fish and chips on the docks at Trollers for years! And now their ENTIRE menu is gluten-free! For quite a while, I couldn’t eat any of the deep-fried fish, but now their batter is gluten free! And so delicious, thin, and crispy-crunchy! And try a lemonade or a flavourful Italian soda. And I love the fresh coat of pretty blues and white paint, plus additional bench seating. You’re protected from the sun by awnings and from drizzle too. Enjoy this waterfront (literally ON the water) gem and longtime Nanaimo eatery!
