A rare gem! The chef is extremely kind and adapts perfectly to dietary needs. He specially prepared a vegan broth for me and served other gluten-intolerant guests with a special sauce as well.

Could not recommend this place more! Especially if you are gluten free! Not only is the sushi incredible, but they also have gluten free soy sauce which was a blessing to find. The atmosphere is great, cozy and peaceful. The staff are some of the friendliest people I have met, it was so good we had to come back again for our last meal in Kyoto!

Gluten-free Taiyaky, at 300 yen (306 if consumed on site) the cream one and the special caramel edition are delicious. The ice cream is also excellent, vanilla or matcha tea, with scraps of taiyaki dough. Unfindable place without Google Maps, simply because it is off the main roads, but a two-minute walk from the subway station, it is definitely worth it.

My partner have celiac disease and they mark in the meny if the dish is glutenfree or not. We ordered one dish with gluten and the chef noticed it and the waitress asked if we still wanted it (it was for me so it was fine)
