Went there to taste their burgers, very tasty and delicious, service was exceptional and the staff catered to my Wife’s gluten sensitivity. We had a superb dinner at Lemongrass last night. Our waitress, Ayu was super friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable about what I could order being coeliac. We had the chicken satay, pad Thai, green curry and fried rice, and every dish was amazing. The best Pad Thai I’ve ever eaten, even better than in Thailand. The green curry was also so tasty, we loved every bit of our meal. Better yet, we left feeling great, even though we were full the meal was not super heavy and no gluten reactions whatsoever. I was put at ease with their great knowledge of gluten free and ensuring there was no cross contamination. I can not recommend Lemongrass highly enough! Thank you, from Megan.

When we got here there was a power cut so the place was hard to find behind some construction work. However, it was a signposted and cozy dark place we were led into. The power went on and all the guests were happy, there was a small collective feeling that spread among guests and staff and an even cozier restaurant appeared with nice lighting and plants all around. The drinks were good and so were the pizzas. The whiskey felt closer to 2 cl than the 5 presented in the menu and the pizza, which still belongs in Italy, was incredibly good here. The calzone had a little poor filling and the olive oil on the table is appreciated but was rather tasteless. The gluten-free pizza bread was well-made own dough and with a thin base.

TLDR: Good service, comfortable atmosphere, great drinks, food was okay for meat eaters, but disappointing if you are veggie/gf We came here for dinner tonight and had a mixed experience. I’ll start with the positive, the service: as you’d expect in Bali it was warm, friendly and very attentive. The space itself was clean, comfortable and well looked after too. The drinks we had were excellent as well, and the 2-4-1 happy hour is great value. The food was a mixed bag and didn’t blow us away. My partner is vegetarian and gluten free, and she ordered the roasted beetroot for her main. When the plate arrived it was quite bare - 90% beetroot with a few greens and cubes of cheese doused in vinegar. There wasn’t anything else to it like a filling base of mash/rice/greens to justify listing this as a “main” in the menu - maybe this one’s on us for not looking at the menu detailedly enough, but if something is listed as a main I expect it to be more filling. As a side or starter, it would’ve been okay. I had the ribs which were very flavourful, but laid on top of a papaya salad which had too much vinegar for my liking. The tres leches for dessert was good. Again, top stars to the staff for noticing my partner wasn’t wild on the beetroot and offering to remove it from the bill. The surprise amouse bouches were great too. I would come back if they expanded their gluten free offerings!

went here the other day, had gluten free options on the menu which was nice. ordered the nasi goreng and pad Thai, unfortunately neither very tasty. the pad Thai noodles were chewy and hard. probably wouldn't head back!

They were great and many lots of GF OPTIONS for my son who is a ceoliac. He had the fried calamari, ceviche, corn chips w/guacamole, and fish taco.

Definitely eating here again! This is a real effort at Mexican food. There is a nuance and complexity to the flavours that sets it above its Tex-Mex “beer bar” competitors. There is class to this menu. Coeliac / gluten free may rejoice - there are several delicious options on their menu. Not many, but enough to give you real choice and it’s obvious a few others may be adapted too. Edit: ate here several times. That speaks for itself. Nothing has disappointed me so far.

Need to make notes for which drinks have gluten, as the garnish was made with wheat flour, luckily they told me after about 10 minutes and I'd only been nibbling on it, but it was still enough to cause me some autoimmune issues unfortunately. Enjoyed the food, they have a specific gluten free menu available, there just needs to be some simple indications on the normal drinks menu.

The menu is a mix of asian and south-east asian, with some of the most known dishes rivisited with the local ingredients. You can order a gin&tonic and pick your gin from an impressive collection (they even have a separate gin&tonic menu), out in display on the shelves behind the bar 🍸 Thumbs up to the staff, friendly and competent and well aware of food allergies (they seem to understand well gluten allergy). A minor thing: I just wish they left the plates and glasses on the table a couple of minutes after we finished, sometimes they came to pick them up and I was still chewing on my last bite 😄

I have high standards especially when it comes to Mexican food but Motel Mexicola did not disappoint! Simon was a wonderful waiter and the food was fresh, tasty and diverse. They were very accom to gluten free and allergies. The picante could have had more like and a bit but apart from that it was great. The service was phenomenal, like a fine dining restaurant but more fun. Recommend!

The food is very good! We had the faijta and nacho’s. We enjoyed it very much. There are also some gluten free options. The staff is kind and there is a good atmosphere. It didn’t take long before our food arrived. Pricewise, it is not to expensive. Would recommend this place for a nice lunch or dinner!

They were accommodating with my son being a ceoliac. He ate the roasted duck, large king prawns, BBQ corn Ribs and french fries. Not all the menus had the GF listed next to the dishes so had to ask staff to advise on dishes.

This place was unlike anything I’ve ever been to before!! BEST FOOD, EVEN BETTER SERVICE! I’m not lying when I say I’ve never had a better experience or tasted better food! They went above and beyond and our waiter was Fita (absolute legend). I have some dietary requirements and he continue to check and stopped me when my partners plate was in front of me and said this has gluten in it is that okay? Asked if we wanted photos and made sure we were happy! He was all over it. I some of the fat of my steak on my plate and they asked me about it, then the manager came over and said we are so sorry (I didn’t complain they just noticed) and I said it was just personal preference and then the manager proceeded to offer complimentary drinks or dessert as an apology. At this point we were way too full to say yes. All I can say is this SHOULD be the number 1 restaurant in Canggu and NEEDS to be in your list!! Ps. The seaweed tacos are to die for!!

I would come back to Bali to eat here again. We had a side of delicious-looking fries that I didn't even look at until every other speck of food on the table was gone. The berry and citrus cocktail knocked my socks off. They were a bit perplexed by coeliacs, but very accommodating and proactive once they understood, even checking about the fry oil and the corn flour in the pavlova.

Amazing Japanese Food & Exceptional Service! I was craving ramen while in Ubud, but being gluten-free, I knew it wouldn’t be easy to find. However, KYOKA went above and beyond to accommodate my needs! They made all the necessary adjustments to the soup, allowing me to enjoy a delicious, low-gluten ramen without compromising on flavor. It's really number 1 restaurant on Bali. Excellent food, very kind staff and a memorable gastronomic experience. We went two couples for dinner, and ordered the nine dishes menu for three, and one seven dishes gluten free menu for my wife. We cannot decides which bite was the best (including the desserts), because we enjoyed each one. We also ordered two bottles of wine. If we come back to Bali sometime, we will repeat t'he experience for sure. It's a must thing to do here.

We were recommended this place by word of mouth. It did not disappoint at all. Service was great, ambience was so welcoming and chilled vibes, and most of all food was superb. Very good attention to detail with the flavours and even how the plates are presented. Plenty of gluten free options and the staff were more than happy to help cater to my dietary requirement. This place is definitely a must try if you’re in Canggu or surrounding areas.
