Risotteria Melotti is such a cute spot in NYC. All of the risottos are gluten-free, which was great for dining with my Celiac girlfriend.
Inside, it’s a small but intimate space. It feels almost like you’re dining in someone’s home because the kitchen is so close by.
For my meal, I had the calcio and pepe risotto. It was delicious and extremely filling. After that, I absolutely had to have the tiramisu for dessert. I love tiramisu and this was no different. With the large portions, I could’ve shared my dessert, but my girlfriend wanted the Nutella crepe, which was also delicious.
Overall, I highly recommend coming here.

Highly recommend!! My teenage daughter has Celiac disease and was the happiest girl in all the land to find this place while on vacation from Arizona. We drove from Niagara Falls just to eat here and it was TOTALLY worth it! I found out that a gluten-free staff member would be attending a meeting at the last minute. Traffic was terrible and I called the shop to see if they would stay open a bit past closing so I could get muffins. They were happy to help! Wait time ensured that we 100% will not be back. We were one of three tables on a Friday night and our food took well over an hour, not to mention that we waited the final 10 minutes for the last person to get their meal which was nothing more than a salad. Our waitress was very inattentive. To the point where it was much faster to just get up and get drinks from the bar for the table. However, it was nice to have a full gluten free menu.
