Beautiful service! Cara our server was a delight. Quite easily the best breakfast I’d had on my trip to the area. Food was well priced for the quality & taste. I was able to enjoy a delicious gluten free meal- hats off to the chef! Highly recommend a stop here. Converted church and the atmosphere was so pleasant. Kids area out the back with table settings which is so great for parents coming out with the kids. Other table settings away from the kids area for the quiet kid free customers too!
Great kids menu too! All round top place to add to your list when visiting the area!!
A long and overdue review…. By far the best Thai restaurant you will find in Melbourne. Not only prices are very fair and also a very good selection of Gluten Free dishes. Delicious and will not go anywhere else.
Chose this place as kids menu had a few gluten free options - when ordering turns out there is an error on the menu and not all these options are available - got offered roast with chips as an option - spoke to my son and prepared him that his pasta wasn’t coming but he’d receive chips and meat - they bought his roast to the table with vegetables as they made a mistake and chips weren’t actually gluten free - my son understandably was not happy and cried - we were not informed that there was an error with the chips and vegetables were just brought to the table - we would not have chosen to go here if the menu accurately reflected the options - my son left not eating anything only moving vegetables around. Do not go here if you are looking for a variety of gluten free options would not recommend

I had the Naughty Brisket, and it was incredible. They do gluten free buns too if you ask. The Dirty Brisket looked next level and was demolished by my friend. The smoked dim sims were also highly rated!
Five stars - best pizza! It's super delicious and fresh. The food is always yum. Highly recommend the gluten free pizza base too - super tasty (and you wouldn't even know it was GF)!

A Cafe with flavoursome breakfast menu till 3 pm & one that Does Not, repeat - does not whack you with a Sunday surcharge!! Delightful setting on a small park- alfresco dining is the way to go. Tables outside are cleaned promptly which is also a plus. Cappuccino was great & so was my fav mashed Avo on multigrain toast. Enjoyed 2 diff cakes on offer - pistachio topped + passionfruit GF gluten free to share. These were the best we have had in a while @ $10.50 each for a chunky slice. Service was prompt & friendly. Not overly crowded yday - Aust Day 2025. A great place to
adjourn to after our hour long walk at nearby Lilydale Lake - 5 mins drive away. Free parking on side street. There is a small Museum attached to Cafe but something to do on the next visit..😊
Lightest fluffiest gluten free batter around. Would be even better if they had a gluten free fryer but they clearly disclose this is the case so celiacs and highly intolerant customers can choose another option. Friendly staff, boss runs a tight ship and seems to recruit and train really well. I’ll be back next time I’m passing through!
We haven’t been here for over a year since a family member was diagnosed with coeliac disease and knowing that Coeliac’s are tricky to cater for when eating out. We haven’t really been out to eat due to this but a birthday dinner was the reason.
But……the supervisor in the bistro was amazing and went beyond for us with the chef to cater for the coeliac family member. She feasted on a delicious plate of garlic prawns, confidently knowing the chef and the supervisor were all over it and were cautious. Even letting the girl know, who took our order to put coeliac next to the coeliac order and then double confirming with the chef that it was all good.
The rest of us enjoyed Parma and Thai beef salad.
I feel so confident in returning to the bistro with my coeliac family member and being able to enjoy a meal without fear.

The food is delicious, well-priced and there are plenty of Vegan and Gluten Free options. The staff are very knowledgeable on dietary requirements and incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is lovely.
Easily my favourite cafe in Lillydale. Will be back many more times :)
Family lunch. Staff wonderful, friendly and helpful. Environment lovely and relaxed. Rainy day, so didn't get to explore the grounds. Gluten free pizzas were delicious. Desserts lovely and generous servings. Local wines a great compliment to the meal. Will be back!
