Rosso Pomodoro Pizzeria Review
My experience at Rosso Pomodoro was overall positive, but with some room for improvement, especially in terms of handling allergen requests.
We arrived at 7:40 PM and, after ordering, I asked for a gluten-free and lactose-free pizza, stressing the need to pay close attention to contamination, given the presence of other allergens. The pizza arrived at 8:30 PM, but unfortunately it contained pieces of artichokes, an ingredient that was neither indicated nor requested and that I could not eat.
The staff, it must be said, was extremely kind and professional: they apologized for the mistake and immediately took the pizza back to the kitchen, preparing another correct one. Once served, the pizza was truly excellent, demonstrating the quality of the ingredients and the care in preparation.
However, episodes like this highlight the importance of greater attention in managing food allergies, as similar errors can have serious consequences for those with intolerances or allergies.
I ate very well and appreciated the friendly service, but I recommend that the pizzeria improve its food safety processes to make the experience perfect for everyone.
Good restaurant including for celiacs. The only flaw is the menu ONLY with the QR code, a paper version should also be made available as not everyone has a special phone.
Excellent restaurant/pizzeria, I eat there very often, as I am celiac and lactose intolerant, no risk of contamination and very attentive waiters! I recommend it very much. Very kind staff
We went to Paradise on Saturday evening for dinner, there were around 300 people but despite everything (assuming I am celiac) they served me excellently and gluten free came first, I highly recommend you go there.
What can I say, really fresh fish, when we arrived there wasn't a menu, but the gentleman who explained to us in person what was there that evening, this is because they have a fishing boat so the menu varies based on the catch of the day, we ordered two appetizers, one cooked and one raw, both very good, then we took direct advice from him and he made us a nice mixed grill of all the catch of the day, there were 4 of us and we finally ate fish, as if to say "homemade", nothing gourmet , everything really GOOD, fresh, tasty.
Gluten free options, excellent prices, clean and welcoming environment, top
Unforgettable experience for my demanding palate: beautiful location, honest prices and quality of food/drinks above the norm. In fact, in this place you can find a homemade menu for celiacs, in particular I would like to underline the attention to detail through a search for taste. It is not easy to find a place like this with a breathtaking and romantic view, where you can savor all the culinary authenticity of the island with simple and original dishes. I highly recommend tasting Daniela's homemade limoncello: an inimitable liqueur in its alcoholic voracity and refinement.
I had been last summer with friends during my holidays in Sicily.
Having eaten well (gluten-free) I decided to book a table for my birthday this year before arriving in Sicily.
I contacted the establishment several times with no response.
I received a message: "you will be contacted again to complete the reservation..."
No response.
I call back....nothing.
I write back....nothing.
I opted for another pizzeria.
