Came for breakfast on a quiet morning in June. Oh my goodness, so so so good. The kind of good where I immediately went home and looked up everything I had to see if I could make it. My only wish was that the gluten free bread was the Arabic bread mentioned in the menu rather than chopped corn tortillas, but still very nice to have gluten free options.
Dear restaurant, what is the kind of bean and vegetable salad in the breakfast and how do I make it? I'm still thinking about it, so healthy and fresh and filling!
Four people had dinner, and everything was incredible.
The Nefertiti salad, the pizza, and the raw vegan lasagna were all great gluten-free options with no cross-contamination issues. My companions also tried the burritos, which came with potatoes, and they were excellent in both quantity and flavor.
All accompanied by delicious sangria!
A great option if you have dietary restrictions and also want to eat healthy without it being boring.
We will definitely return.
Great place specializing in gluten-free dishes.
The food was exquisite and the service was very good yesterday.
I loved the octopus and bravas.
I would add another gluten-free dessert (there was only couscous or fruit). Otherwise, a 10.
Very good food at a good price. Vegan and gluten-free options; there are few places like this. Plus, the staff is very friendly. We'll definitely be back :)
A varied menu of rice dishes to choose from, as well as starters. The menu is also mostly gluten-free, with allergens clearly indicated.
The rice dishes are delicious and come in individual portions. You can order through the website by scanning a QR code. The price range is affordable, with set menu options for around €20.
The wait staff is very friendly and is always available to assist with any questions. I highly recommend the experience.
Highly recommended restaurant!!
I went to lunch with a friend, and with two starters and the set menu, it cost just over 30 euros for both of us. The menu is super complete and varied, the service was top-notch, and we left feeling stuffed. The croquettes are a must-order, and the chorizo in cider were spectacular. They also adapt the entire menu for gluten-free options!!
I will definitely return!!
Delighted to return here, I have celiac disease and it has many gluten-free things for celiacs. Everything was great and the attention of the waitress was spectacular.
One of the best gluten-free places in Alicante. The meat is always spectacular. I recommend the chocolates (like fritters) that are gluten-free, and the dessert is the chocolate cake! The attention is always great
The food is good, but they portray it as having gluten-free options, but there are few. In fact, they only have one type of gluten-free pasta and no pizzas.
The pizzas look good but are bland, with few ingredients.
The Caesar salad is very large and tasty.
Excellent service, as was the atmosphere. We were treated very well, but our food was also good. They offer gluten-free bread, and dishes can be modified if you have any intolerances. The only problem we noticed was that the scrambled eggs with baby eels and shrimp were more like potatoes than eggs, and the "shrimp" was actually prawns. Everything else was great. They also brought us a salad we hadn't ordered with the cuttlefish, which was a very nice touch.
Good atmosphere and good treatment. But it's a shame that they charge €3.90 extra for gluten-free dough, it's excessive and those of us with celiac disease don't eat it on a whim.
We love this pizzeria, and they have all the gluten-free options. The service is top-notch and the atmosphere is very family-friendly. It's a must-visit every time we come here.
It's great that they have gluten-free options for celiacs. I stopped going when I was diagnosed with celiac disease and I don't know how I found out that they had gluten-free options. In short, delighted with Flamingo.
A 10/10 experience! We ordered the set menu, which was perfect value for money. We had a great meal, and it was DELICIOUS. For those with celiac disease, there's a LOT of variety, including breaded dishes and everything. And on top of that, the service was wonderful, accompanied by the best views.
100% recommended.
We went for dinner and it was a success. Especially for people with celiac disease, as was our case. Very nice staff and very delicious food. Highly recommended.
Dinner for four. Being celiac, I thought we could choose in pairs, but no, it's at a table in the center. Small mistake that is forgiven by the quality of the food and the very friendly waitresses who served us. Everything is very delicious and mistela at the end courtesy of the house. Unbeatable atmosphere, pleasant music and an incredible setting, more typical of Ibiza than Alicante. A place to go at least once when visiting Alicante. All decorated with paintings by Laura Sala. Recommended
The food is spectacular, especially the pizzas. The cheese is exquisite, and I haven't tried anything like it. The service was also very good, very friendly and gracious. The atmosphere wasn't so great; there weren't many people, but overall it was very good. I recommend it. The gluten-free pizza was also incredible. 🐥
Just walking through the door invites you to immerse yourself in the aromas. Everything looks delicious and inviting. Everything is handmade with high-quality ingredients. They even have gluten-free options! The brunch menu is very tempting.
Here, we understand over good food. Very tasty paella and sangria (white and red). The service is friendly and prompt. The menu was a bit unclear, because the paellas didn't say what they contained. Good allergy information, gluten-free food for celiacs was easy to find. The sanitary facilities are clean. I definitely recommend doing business!
I arrive at 12:15 AM. The pizzeria is open until 1:30 AM, according to Google, and it's true, however:
- "I've turned off the gluten-free pizza oven, you'll have to go somewhere else."
- Sure, I won't be coming here again.
👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻
Very delicious food and suitable for celiacs.
We ordered some anchovies that were very good, and they fried them in chickpea flour in a separate pan. A grilled squid, somewhat tough but very good in flavor, a rice with artichokes, shrimp and cuttlefish that is very, very delicious, and a very tender entrecôte, with homemade fries that is appreciated. For dessert, torrija, flan and cheesecake, all very good. Warning, the torrija is made gluten-free.
We always enjoy our meal here, especially as the owner goes out of her way to cater for my gluten free requirements. The GF lasagne is a favourite and I was even treated to a GF Tiramisu. We'll be back next time we are out in La Marquesa
It is the first time I have been, good impression, my economy is not buoyant, so for special occasions you can go, the lower part has a children's play area that is included in the price.
In my opinion, although the pastas are abundant in quantity, it seems a little expensive to me, I say this from my economic condition, others will say that it will be cheap, average pasta price of €13.
They have gluten-free pasta, in my case, and I thought I saw on the menu that it was only spaghetti.
The wine list is digital, hehehe, and the one we tried was very good.
It is advertised as a restaurant suitable for celiacs and nothing could be further from the truth, upon arriving there after a walk they tell us that there is cross contamination.
We were looking for a Mexican restaurant to go to regularly since we love their food, and we definitely found it!
Every dish we tried was delicious, from the nachos to the quesadillas and the tacos.
We highly recommend the chicken quesadilla and the Taxco taco, although everything else was incredible.
Also, I'm celiac, and although the quesadillas are typically gluten-free, they also adapt them. The only thing they don't adapt is the burrito, which is normal since it's hard to find gluten-free tortillas of that size.
The service is exceptional, and the price is completely in line with the quality of what they serve. Even the margarita shots they gave us were great.
They definitely exceeded our expectations, and we'll definitely be back; it's a great choice!
Delicious burgers right next to San Juan beach. Super-attentive waiters, and the burgers are delicious. Seven of us went, and they served us all at the same time and very quickly. We're delighted with the gluten-free options!
A 10 in everything, the food is exquisite, we ordered some cockles as a starter, spaghetti a la marinera and pasta with salmon. For dessert, carrot cake 🥕 (this is the best) 😋😋 they have gluten and lactose free options 💯
It was a 10/10 dinner. All the dishes we tried were tasty and the portions were great. There are a lot of gluten-free dishes and the service has been excellent too. Above all, we loved the rice pudding dessert (with coconut and almond milk), we must try it☺️
Delicious food and also with gluten-free options. The staff is super friendly. We had the menu of the day and the Thai rice was spectacular, the Catalan cream with orange (and gluten-free) was great too. 100% recommendable!
A perfect place to go as a group, couple or family. Very delicious food and unbeatable service, Jorge treated us great. The delicious salmon crepe. With gluten-free options. And the relaxed atmosphere without much noise. 100% recommendable
Perfect place to eat next to the beach. The exquisite service and food pleasantly surprised us.
And I emphasize the service since they changed our table without any problem and advised us on gluten-free options to eat and avoid possible contamination.
A must stop in Playa de San Juan for lunch or dinner!
We have eaten here several times and always the food is incredible and the service unbeatable.
We have a celiac son and except for a couple of things, everything is gluten-free and what is not, they adapt it to you. They control the issue of traces and cross contamination.
Tastefully decorated place.
It has been a great discovery. Without a doubt, we will continue to repeat.
We decided to book for lunch on a Sunday at noon, a group of 11 people because the place had been recommended to us. We wanted to try the typical rice dishes there. As starters we ordered some scallops and some croquettes. Everything was very rich in flavor. Highlight the black rice, which was the one we liked the most.
The service was quite good, although they were not too careful with the intolerance issue (gluten). I ordered a dessert and they offered me a flan, which they mistakenly accompanied with a mikado that does have gluten. Note that they do not have much variety on the menu.
The arepas and empanadas are very delicious and 100% gluten-free, they fry everything without any cross contamination. Very attentive. It would be great if the fries were not frozen or had the option of corn chips.
The chef was fantastic, he came out to talk us through the menu. If you call in advance, he can cater very well to gluten-free needs. Lovely staff and atmosphere. Best dining in alicante at very fair prices!
