Wonderful South Indian food served by delightful, attentive, waiters. I am not gluten intolerant but there is a distinct difference between this and other Indian restaurants. The meal does not weigh heavy afterwards. It’s very noticeable. Try the salty lassi (lusi) and the paper dosa. It’s easy to over order but the waiters offer to bag the leftovers. Just go. You’ll love it.

This place was fantastic, got the last table available for breakfast. They have a full gluten free menu which covered just about everything I could want. I ate a mushroom Benedict which was delicious. Staff super helpful and friendly.

Madha – A Taste of Home in Glasgow I recently had a wonderful family dinner at Madha – North & South Indian Kitchen, and it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a clean, elegant ambiance that instantly made us feel comfortable. We started our meal with a refreshing lassi, which was perfectly creamy and balanced in sweetness—just like how it’s made back home. For the main course, we indulged in a chicken biryani that was bursting with authentic flavors, Butter chicken paired with freshly made, soft naan that complemented the meal beautifully. Every bite reminded me of home-cooked food, rich in tradition and taste. One thing I truly appreciated was the vegan and gluten-free options available on the menu, ensuring that everyone, regardless of dietary needs, could enjoy a wholesome meal. Delightful! Almost the entire menu can be gluten free! I had the Halloumi Hash with fried eggs and it was excellent. Everything from cocktails to fancy coffees and local Irn Bru. Staff is friendly and decor is modern and fun- upbeat vibe. Celiac friendly too.

This is my go-to for Indian food in Glasgow. I regularly order takeaway and it’s always consistently great – full of flavour and really well made. I visited the restaurant for the first time today and it was just as good in person. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to help. I’m gluten free and really appreciate how many of the curries and sides on the menu are clearly marked and safe to eat – there's loads of choice and everything I’ve tried has been spot on. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for quality Indian food in Glasgow!

We came here while passing by for some food in the evening and were pretty disappointed. I have a gluten intolerance, and there were only two mains I could have on the printed menu - but on the website more options are advertised as gluten free via an icon, such as the feijoada. So it was all a bit confusing and I really wanted the feijoada, but when I asked our server she just referred me to the menu and didn't seem to know anything about it. The lack of knowledge and options is surprising as Brazilian cuisine is generally pretty good for gluten free options. I had the prato baiano which had small cubed bits of gristly chicken in it, and my partner had a burger that wasn't particularly good. The atmosphere wasn't great as some band was setting up the whole time we were there, so no music or atmosphere. We wouldn't come back.

Absolutely incredible meal, way and above the nicest steak I've ever had. Everything was cooked to perfection, we had a variety of steaks and the Presa Ibérico pork which was delicious. Our server Manuela was excellent, very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful with recommendations. Two of our party are coeliac and the vast majority of the menu was suitable and there was no concerns at all about being gluten free. Couldn't fault the place in anyway. It is expensive but you get what you pay for. 10/10.

She went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, patiently explaining the dishes and helping us navigate the menu, which was a blessing since it was our first foray into Turkish cuisine. With options for every dietary preference, it truly caters to all.

Lovely menu with most dishes gluten free. Very amiable and attentive staff. We went on Saturday prior to a matinee at the Tron Theatre so had the pre-theatre menu which is very reasonable. Music is played at a suitable volume to allow you to chat without having to raise your voice! Ideal location for the theatre too.

I ordered from here today and it was so lovely. It was my first time so I phoned to confirm that everything was gluten free as I'm coeliac and Tom was super helpful and made my order first to reduce the contamination risk! Great customer service and yummy fresh food. Definitely recommend!!

A bit disappointing. I ordered a tofu and chili rice bowl. Unfortunately I have a gluten allergy so I ordered it made gluten free as the menu specified was possible. Usually when major modifications have to be made to a dish to accommodate dietary preferences the waiter clears that with the customer but that didn’t happen here. What arrived, while good, was a very expensive bowl of rice with chili sauce, a handful of mushrooms, and a handful of snap peas. If the tofu had to be removed from the dish to accommodate my allergy that’s fine I just wish I was told when ordering as I would have picked something else. An £11 bowl of just rice and a bit of vegetable was really disappointing to receive.

Simply excellent. Being inside Merchant Square the restaurant is half open whilst still being covered from the weather outside. The service was quick, friendly and professional. A simple, well-presented menu with good choices of meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan food (gluten free options too), and the quality of food was exceptional for the price. Will definitely come back again!

It was recommended by a walking tour guide and it didn’t disappoint! In addition, they have GLUTEN-FREE items on their menu and it’s always a plus when staff members have celiac disease. If given the opportunity I would visit again. Kudos to the attentive staff!
