I have Celiac disease. I love hamburgers. Good gluten free hamburgers are difficult to find. Imagine my surprise when the waitress at a local Ruby Tuesday lets me in in a little-known (at least to me) secret: Ruby Tuesday has gluten free burger buns. So I gave it a try. Ruby Tuesday has the best, softest, stayest together burger buns I have ever had! And they taste good too! Who knew this inconspicuous, seemingly everywhere, run of the mill restaurant was hiding such a street?!? Not me. Now I know when I hanker for a slice of beef, cheese, and bacon between a soft delicious bun, where to go. They do have other GF items, but I will return for the burgers.
At this location in Statesboro, Ga., we stopped twice on our vacation. The first time, we asked for grilled chicken bits with a glove change for my gluten free grandchildren. When we received chicken it was breaded. We explained we could not eat it. They offered to refund the difference between breaded and grilled, about 3-4 dollars. Finally the manager stepped in took care of it. I spent 29. and my daughter spent $50. There were 8 of us, 4 adults, 4 children. The lady said we were to ask for chicken bits old school. 6 days later we stopped on the way back and I asked for old school chicken bits. A man dressed in a suit looked at me , became very impatient as I described what I needed. The girl next to him tried to tell him what we wanted, and he told her to mind her own business. We later asked the girl if that was her boss, she said no. Like Starbucks I don't see the popularity, charisma of the place!
Went there this week with my husband and 4 year old son and we specifically asked to make everything vegan and gluten free. My son barely touched his noodles so we asked for a to go box for those. When we got home we found 3 big pieces of chicken in there.
The place was also not exactly clean with dust literally everywhere and the food was very Americanized and not to our liking.
Our server was very nice and tried really hard so no complaints about the service im just surprised that he said he made sure everything was made vegan and gluten free yet my son’s meal had chicken in it.
Celiac. The staff were extremely accommodating with my condition, changing gloves and utensils and ensuring there was as little cross contamination as is possible in a pizza joint. Friendly, smiles, and good customer service. I'll be back
Always a smooth experience. I love how they have the "unwich" (lettuce wrap) since I'm gluten sensitive. Food always tastes fresh and staff always have a smile on their face. 10/10
10/10 Emma was an exceptional server. She made our visit to Statesboro so amazing. We stopped by on a road trip and it was such a good decision. On our way back we will be sure to eat there and hopefully Emma will be serving so I can request her! Super amazing service and friendliness! I also have a a daughter with a gluten allergy and she accommodated her so well. Usually at restaurants it is looked down upon. But she was super helpful.
Got a tower and some hashbowls with chimi steak and chorizo! Fantastic service on game day with a big crowd! I’m gluten free and they have fantastic and tasty non gluten options! Thank you so much Del Sur!
Also the space is fantastically decorated for Halloween!!!!
Three Tree is amazing. Their commitment to the community is wonderful. Their customer service is always second to none. The gluten-free and dairy free options are so tasty.
The food was great. We were there for a college visit, however there is "But" The young ladies at the front weren't helpful when it game to the "Gluten "Sensitive" Menu. I researched this on line before we came. My daughter has food allergies and it's important for us to know the option before we get to any establishment. There's was no Gluten Sensitive menu at the front to look at upon arriving, and honestly one young lady wasn't going to look for one; she disappeared from the front and I assumed it was to get the menu with the Gluten Sensitive options and she came back empty handed. We looked it up on my phone, and the other young lady completed our order. Be mindful of this. It's hard for people with food allergies to eat out as it is; however it doesn't have to be, and it wouldn't hurt to have your first point of contact knowledgeable on the subject. My 2 would've been a 5 otherwise.
Very good wings. The difference is the wings are marinated instead of sauced making them unexpectedly tender and delicious without being overly sloppy. Sometimes I like sloppy, but I enjoyed these as well. They also have a number of gluten free wings to choose from.
They serve the best sandwiches I have EVER had. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. I loved the atmosphere, so vibrant and bustling. They have a great variety of sandwiches, including gluten free and vegetarian. The McSteamy is divine!
My husband picked me Gluten Free cupcakes last minute for my birthday! They were phenomenal. Key lime, strawberry and vanilla! I'd like to mention this was only place in statesboro that had gluten free available at last minute. (So that was an awesome surprise) Also want to shout out haley for being a great help!!
I have to eat gluten free, not by choice. They have a separate menu that breaks down all the allergens. I know there is risk for cross contamination, but the allergen chart was amazing to have.
Our waitress was super nice and very understanding!
And that loaded sweet potato was pure heaven on a plate!
