My husband and I have been to the Sweet Basil in Waltham on numerous occasions which is why I'm able to recommend all of the food that is posted. We went for the first time to the Sweet Basil in Needham and we were equally as plesed. For starters, we had the Pesto with Fresh Bread, and the Garden Vegtable Risotto. . For our entrees, I had Salmon on Cold Orzo Salad with Asparagus and my husband chose the Gluten Free Shrimp Sscampi. This dishes are the creation and expertise of Dave, the owner, and the adjective AMAZING sums up the excellence of every dish and beverage served there. I highly recommend this restaurant. In fact, I'm taking the book ,"Sweet Basil," written by the owner. Dave Becker, shares all of these delicious and savory recipes on my vacation where I'll be cooking for my on family. Cheers and thanks to Sweet Basil., because you have added joy and comfort to our lives with such fresh, remarkable food. SALUD

This was my first time to Capella's and I loved the atmosphere! What a cute spot and the decor was perfect. We started off with the Meatballs, Burrata and Brussel Sprouts & Aged Parmesan with Balsamic. Both were delicious but the Burrata & Brussels dish was my favorite starter. I wish I could have tried the Arancini but the menu was different than what I had viewed online. For my entree I ordered the Rigatoni Vodka with Ricotta Gnocchi instead and it was delicious! I loved the additional of the peas and onions but the sauce had an amazing spice to it! My coworker got the Truffle Cheese Wheel Pasta and it was delicious! Very rich bit definitely a must try! For dessert we had the Canollis (3 to and order) which were non-traditional. I enjoyed the shell more than the citrus cream filling. The menu was wonderful with tons of variety. Next time I will be trying the salmon! The service was awesome but sporadic once they got busy. The runners/bussers ended up servicing our check and retrieve it once payment was in place. Loved the teamwork and the overall experience was great! The gluten free pasta options were incredible also!!

As a celiac bride, I was worried that any cake safe for me would be unappealing to our guests. I’m so glad to be so wrong! Addie was super helpful at the tasting and made us an adorable cake to cut. We ordered lots of different flavors of mini cupcakes for our guests and they were such a huge hit that we didn’t get any! They were gone in ~30 seconds! Order more than you think you need, we probably could have gotten double what we ordered.

I read some negative reviews, glad I didn't listen. They were funny, attentive, including my gluten free diet. The hibachi was fun and tasty.

Placed a catering order with French Press for a work event and the team there could not have been more helpful and attentive. We have a celiac employee and they were able to provide gluten free items that were made following procedures that limit cross-contamination. Everything we ordered was delicious! Highly recommend using them for catering or just dropping in for a yummy pastry :)

This is a great restaurant for friends and families with individual food preferences from gluten free to vegetarian. Good food, great variety that is also a place to meet friends where the music is not too loud to prevent conversations.

Wow! What a great experience! Alyssa's service was impeccable, and everything she recommended was delicious!! The food was wonderful and the drinks were great too! Plenty of gluten free options. I would highly recommend. Only suggestion would be more gluten free and vegetarian options- otherwise it was so, so good!

We love Nicholas Pizza--we have lived here for 5+ years and have probably ordered from there upwards of 200 times. The people there are friendly and reliable and very sensitive to our kids' allergies. The food is great--we regularly order regular and gluten free pizza, chicken tenders and fries, and salads. We are never disappointed. The pizza is Greek style with a delicious, sweet sauce and very tasty crust.

OMG, where do I begin! 1st: Incredibly pleased with most everything I've cooked so far! 2nd: Package arrives every Monday. Be prepared to cook your own meal on Mondays in case it arrives later in the day. 3rd: The ingredients have been great, with the exception of the garlic. I feel the cold packaging might be damaging it! Yes, you may be able to purchase the ingredients for cheaper at a store, TRUE... But you'd have to purchase the whole box and don't have chef created meals and a booklet of recipes at your finger tips. You're paying for convenience and chef curated meals. 4th: Portions are great and I usually have left overs for lunch the next day. Weight loss has been an added perk!↓ 5 Lbs in 3 weeks! The only thing I would change, is the amount of plastic in these boxes. Instead of plastic bags it would be amazing if Purple Carrot used biodegradable/compostable bags (like Whole Foods). The plastic containers for oils and dressings however, would be hard to replace. I don't have a solution for that, nor do I think the rest of the world does. Out of the 9 meals I've had so far I only partially liked 2 and really loved 7. I partially liked the Kimchi Korean Burrito (Recipe called for too much sesame oil) and the Peanut Butter Pad Thai noodles (Recipe called for too much peanut butter and too much rice vinegar (made the noodles really sticky)) I hope whoever reads this orders from Purple Carrot. I'm Flexitarian and decided to try Purple Carrot to help gain new ideas and develop more skills cooking vegan meals. My 12 year old son even loves them and helps pick out meals ❤ If you need to be on some form of Dieta before an Ayahausca or other Spiritual Medicine journey, I would also heartily recommend Purple Carrot for their soy, cheese and gluten free options! Bon Appetite!
